IT MATTERS WHAT YOU BELIEVE!: Recent Episodes

"You believe that God is one; you do well. Even demons believe--and shudder" (James 2:19.).

Everyone has the right to believe in something or someone. Nonetheless, it is crucial to understand that our religious beliefs, invariably, influence the choices and decisions we make in life, which might eventually affect others too.

Belief is "the feeling of being certain that something exists or is true; something that you believe." To believe is"to think that something is true, correct, or real." A believer is"a person who has a religious belief or who strongly believes that something is right or good." (CALD)

So, it really matters that we are sure of what we believe as true, correct or real; then, we would not give up easily in case of any unforeseen challenges; knowing whom or what we have believed. Again, we should recall that when we say something matters, we mean it is important and needs careful consideration. Thus, our Podcast: "It Matters What We Believe!"

Many believers and worshipers of various faiths brag that they believe in Jesus Christ; yet, should you probe any further, you would find that they have practically nothing convincing to tell. They would even be ignorant of the fundamental things Jesus says about Himself. There are also many who claim to be of the Christian faith, yet, are no different from those they may call unbelievers. For that reason, though they may claim Him as the one they believe and follow, they do not reap the expected spiritual growth. As they fail to walk with the true Christ, many are enticed away from the truth in Him, by peer pressure to seek spiritual thrills and other initiations in Secret Societies.

If a believer in Christ cannot affirm the Doctrine of Jesus, though he or she is a regular Saturday or Sunday church member, would they be true disciples of Jesus? The various self-tests given in the Episodes would help reveal this.

Our Podcast: It Matters What You Believe, is meant to provide a strategic plan of reminders to help all our cherished seekers, followers and friends to reconsider what they know and believe about the true Christ of Christianity, and thereby, discover His Uniqueness, and why they should entrust their lives to Him, and walk according to His powerful commands in the Bible.

SOME BASIC ISSUES THAT LURE THE UNWATCHFUL BELIEVERS

1. INITIATIONS. Why would a people who are called by the name of Christ go for other secret initiations of the fallen forces of darkness, when it's in Christ resides the fullness of Deity?
2. ENLIGHTENMENT. Why would a people called by the name of Christ seek enlightenment or enter the Illuminati from other sources, when Jesus Christ is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD?
3. WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE. Why should people called by the name of Christ be enticed by what the "Mystics" claim as the hidden knowledge of Christ., when they are supposed to abide in the true Christ who is the Mystery of God and in whom are hidden all the treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge?
4. MEDITATION. How come a people called by the name of Christ would blank their minds to admit demons, when the "IAM", the LOGOS abides in them?
5. POWER AND AUTHORITY. Why would people who are called by the name of Christ have to join secret initiatory schools to acquire power, when Christ offers His disciples the power and authority to trample down the serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy?

SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE

As Disciples of Christ and Soldiers of the Cross, "We do not peddle the Word of God for profit," but are determined in Christ, against all odds, "to speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God," (2 Corinthians 2:17). We shall "speak the truth in love" and the Bible is our final authority, we won't "go beyond what is written," whatever be the situation, time or circumstance.
