Searching for jobs = stressful! We all could benefit from a few tips here and there. A social media post from a creator sparked my desire to make a video with tips if you are searching for a new role.

My tips are based on personal experience and more so catered to my folks who recently graduated from undergraduate school.

I am not the fashion police! I however, have extensive experience with rounds of interviews at various levels of career. I have taken many business communication and leaderships courses. I am constantly learning new tips and tricks to ace interviews.
Here are the basics to use as a guideline when preparing your wardrobe for a job interview:
- A simple blouse
- A button up shirt
- A skirt that comes to the knee or longer
- Pants - not too tight
- A Blazer or suit jacket
- Stud earrings
- Light makeup
- No heavy perfume

Here's a short episode, that covers where my mind was at this time.
It's so important to move with earnest intent into your dreams, goals and desires!
When I heard that a 14-year old boy was shot, I was sad for the mom! How could that happened? When I heard the story behind the shooting, I was shocked. Aleah Wallace shot a boy attempting to break into her home.
Question after question, she answered in the interview; revealing bits and pieces of her own life.
We all know that Reesa Teesa's story was nothing short of entertaining. But there were lessons to be be learned through her traumatic experience. Although I felt for, her story made me think of lessons I would want to tell other women, in hopes that they would not make the same mistakes.
The vagina is sacred to all that have one. It should be treated with respect and guarded until the holder decides to disarm. When you choose to engage in the act of sex with someone, you are disturbing the ph levels of the vagina; sometimes that can cause bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection and/or a UTI.
If bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection and/or a UTI happens, would you feel comfortable enough to talk to your partner about it?
In this episode we discuss the mensuration cycle and vaginal discharge. Let's talk about it!
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is take the first step. Don't let trauma and insecurities hold you back from making the next move. You are strong and capable of achieving anything you set your mind to!
We talk about situations where you are faced with great opportunities and make the decision to not take the opportunities! Why do we do that?
Fear of the unknown will hold us back in life. Do you agree?
How important is it to you to be able to process how you feel about a situation without other's input? Oversharing has become an epidemic that for some, comes back to bite them later!
Having a trusted source to lean on when you need to talk is vital. This person/people have to be a vetted source. This needs to be someone you can trust.
Take a listen to the reasons I think you may want to hold off with putting all of your business on social media before you have had a chance to process it.
We're Bouncing Back! There a times in life when you cannot possibly see a way out! As if there is no way situations can turn around for you! Oh, but one thing I am learning is that…. It will get better! Things do not always happened the way we want them to nor when we want them to; however, once we cry, scream, get mad and frustrated: we realize that there is a brighter side of the hurt.
Sometimes we do not know the reasons for the pain. There is a lesson Is the pain and frustration… there has to be a decision made that only you can make. You WILL get through and over this!

I clearly have special thing for speaking about periods. All women have a period and all of us have a traumatizing story related to our periods. I divulge a personal story about not having money to buy sanitary napkins.
