Jesus could trust Moses and Elijah, who do you trust in difficult times? Luke 9:30-31 CEB - “Two men, Moses and Elijah, were talking with him. They were clothed with heavenly splendor and spoke about Jesus’ departure, which he would achieve in Jerusalem.” Luke 9:30-31 CEB
Why be part of a community of faith? Why go to church? One reason is to be fed with God’s love and grace so that you can the go out and distribute that same love and grace in the world.
1 Samuel 16:7 (CEB) - “But the LORD said to Samuel, "Have no regard for his appearance or stature, because I haven’t selected him. God doesn’t look at things like humans do. Humans see only what is visible to the eyes, but the LORD sees into the heart."”
Galatians 6:2 (CEB) - “Carry each other’s burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
Philippians 3:17 (CEB) “Brothers and sisters, become imitators of me and watch those who live this way—you can use us as models.”
1 John 4:7-8 CEB “Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God, and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God. The person who doesn’t love does not know God, because God is love.”
