In today's video, our lovely and amazing guest Mrs. Veronica Patterson talks with us about the different conditions of our heart and how we can submit our heart to God for complete transformation.
Veronica talks about the spiritual heart check and what that looks like.
Veronica believes that performing this heart check regularly allows us to hold ourselves accountable. The heart checks reveals anything that is present in our heart that's not like God. We have to be honest with ourselves. If you can't be real with you, then you can't get the help. Our heart goes through these stages when sin hasn't been confessed.
The levels that our heart go through when we are not consistent with our heart checks are the following: Broken Heart, Fearful heart, Angry heart, Hopeless heart, Numb heart and Hard heart.
"Everyone on this planet has a broken heart to a certain degree because we live in a fallen world and therefore we can't be loved perfectly by other people. Self love cannot be experienced if we leave our broken heart unhealed. "
Veronica and I both share some intimate details on the current state of our heart.

LaMiracle says she doesn't feel that its effective to separate to make things work, her suggestion is to live together in efforts to make the marriage work. “If you separate you learn to live without the other person and therefore increases the likelihood of divorce.” Melissa says that you must try with everything to make your marriage work. She shares about the guilt and shame she felt living in sexual sin and how she overcame that embracing God's guidance and love.
Ebony wants every woman to know that "maintaining abstinence while courting is actually possible if you and your partner are committed to one another and understand the reason for waiting. & Don't be afraid to walk away if your standards aren't respected."
Ebony shares about identifying the purpose of the relationship in courting and how that is key to determining if the relationship will transition into marriage. Speaking of marriage, Ebony is now engaged to be married this summer!! Wont He do it!!! Another thing, Ebony and her fiancé will definitely be encouraging singles to date and marry God's way!! May God continue to get the glory out of their union!!
Practical steps to ridding yourself of fornication:
Know yourself & your struggles.
Identify triggers i.e. alcohol, late night, hugs, kisses, etc.
Choose to make the right choice daily.
For those actively dating and fornication, ask yourself if the relationship is built off of friendship or sex?
Have a conversation with your partner about the intentions of the relationship and your standards.

On today's episode, one of our very own Kiesha G joins us again on the GGT Podcast to talk about Bad Habits! We defined what a bad habit is and what it looks like when you have one! She discusses some bad habits that she had in the past and how she got through them with the Lord's guidance.
Some of the bad habits we dived into were: drinking, smoking, fornication, oversleeping, overeating, social media, excessive working out.
Kiesha wants the listeners to know that all habits are not bad, but if done too frequently and pull us away from God they can become idols. Idolatry is a sin.
Habitual sin pulls us away from God.
God will reveal things we need to let go of.
Habits can become addictions.
We need boundaries with everything.
Remember "The world will always entice us with everything shiny to take our focus off God." -Kiesha
Some good habits include: regularly studying the word of God, praying, worshipping, fellowshipping with other believers, plugging into our source (God).
Practical steps to overcome bad habits: Identify the habit, accept that it is a sin, confess it to God then to someone who can help you walk through it, develop steps to overcome the habit, realistic and measurable steps, study what God's word says about the habit, pray, spend time with likeminded believers and find healthy and fun things to do!

During today's episode, I talk to you all about Vision specifically Godly vision. I define what Godly vision is and how I was able to see God's visions more clearly in my life. I give several examples of visions from the Bible and how they advanced God's Kingdom. God has given each of us visions for our lives that he wants to bring to past at the appointed time.
