Together they founded Combatants for Peace to bring peace about through nonviolent activities, that include site specific theatre performances at various checkpoints between Israel and the occupied territories. Chen dives deep into his journey from the son of Holocaust survivors and staunch Zionist and military man to disillusioned refusenik and now theatre director and activist. While incarcerated, he educated himself, learned about the Holocaust, engaged in non violent protests that yielded fruit, and underwent a major transformation.
