I have been in client services for almost a decade, when I started out in 2013 building websites as a freelancer.

Over the years, there are so many mistakes I've seen clients make that make it almost impossible to serve them at the highest level.

This isn't about being a good client to be fun and easy to work with. This is about getting the most out of your investments, making good decisions and heading towards your goals. There are ways that you might be blocking your team from their fullest potential and if you have big goals, this could be the death of them.

This week on the podcast, I gather the top characteristics and behaviors from our BEST clients that get the HIGHEST return on their ads and listed them out on the podcast.

If you have a team, and certainly if you invest in ads, this one is for you. Listen in to see what these clients have that give them the best results on their journey to 7 and multiple 7-figures. Quick hint: ALL of these clients make at least 7-figures a year, and there is a reason for that!

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • 5 characteristics that all these coaches have in common to reach 7-figures a year
  • Define “best clients” (highest ROAS)

Becoming a business owner has been one of the most rewarding, and humbling, experiences I have ever had. I was able to grow a successful ads agency, help an array of business owners and coaches, and build a life of freedom. On the other hand, it brought up every feeling imaginable and made me confront the deepest parts of myself. As rewarding as the freedom is, entrepreneurship is hard, which is why many people fail. But if you’re able to overcome those challenges you discover an inner strength that sparks so much power it becomes addicting.

In today’s episode I’m going to discuss one of my favorite topics: how to deal with the roller coaster of emotions that arise with entrepreneurship. I go into what makes being an entrepreneur so hard, and how it has nothing to do with the journey. I will then talk about why discomfort is actually a good thing, and how I overcame my fear in my business. Finally, I talk about how hitting milestones don’t make things easier and what they actually do. Stay tuned!

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • What makes entrepreneurship so hard, and how it has nothing to do with the journey
  • How I become unafraid of being a better business owner
  • Why discomfort in your business is actually a GOOD thing
  • How hitting milestones doesn’t actually make things easier

Gaining success in your business has been the long asked question for entreprepreneurs. But, at what cost to you - or your offers? It is a common misconception that if a launch doesn’t go the way you planned you should just discount it and chock it up as a loss. I’m here to tell you there IS a way to make your offer more valuable without any discounts (or definitely a lot less!).

In today’s episode I’m going to talk about the difference between what an offer is and what a product is. This is commonly used interchangeably when in fact they are two different things. I will then go over 5 ways to increase your offer without discounting your services or offers. Finally, I will go over how to know what changes to make in order to get the most success. Stay tuned!

If you’ve been in the online business space for any amount of time, I’m sure you’ve heard all about the “hustle culture.” It’s “make 10K in a day with my program” or “the more you put in, the more you’ll get out!” and “create freedom today with xyz…” but at what cost? I’ve done both hustling and slowing down and, not that there's anything wrong with that life, have found by slowing down in my business and being more intentional with my time I’m able to not only have a more successful business but TRUE freedom in my life.

In today’s episode I talk about 5 things I noticed once I slowed down my business growth. I talk about the benefits it had on my personal/social life, which ultimately allowed me to become a mom; I talk about having the time to create fool-proof SOPs and trainings for my team in order to have a more functional business; and I also talk about how staying present allowed me to propel my business forward by taking the time to review all aspects of my business. Listen in!

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • Five patterns I noticed when I slowed my business down intentionally
  • Having the time to make fool proof trainings for my business and team

Whether you’re new to investing in ads or have years of experience, the truth is investing takes serious strategy and commitment; the difference, however, between those who have experience investing from those who haven’t can be monumental. One of the most common questions I get about ads is whether or not they’re worth it. No matter what you do or where you’re at in your business, you’re going to inevitably need to invest at some point to scale. It may be intimidating at first, but ultimately investing (dare I say) will always give you some sort of return on investment – even if it’s not the way you pictured it.

In today’s episode, we’re going to take a deeper look at business investments and why they are so crucial. I offer a different perspective on investments and discuss why monetary returns aren’t always the best kind of returns to get. Listen in for more!

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • Why you shouldn’t fear investments in your business
  • A different way for you to look at investing
  • How investments always pay off – just in different kinds of ROI

Over the past two years there have been more changes to running ads than the entire time I’ve worked with them. Before, running ads was pretty simple… Fast forward to now and we’ve got different attribution times, higher costs per leads, more competition, the list goes on. This is not to say ads aren’t beneficial - if you have the right funnels in play. This just means it requires more skill building to keep up with the ever-changing industry in order to stay efficient and cost-effective.

In today’s episode talk about how ads have changed over time and why it’s so important to be up to date with these changes. In order to keep up with the changes, I then talk about why you or your ads manager should be constantly skill building, and some of my favorite resources for you to build your skills. Tune in!

Confession: I used to have a lot of workaholic tendencies. I used to believe that I had to always hustle around the clock and this led to not having boundaries between my personal life and work life.

Don’t get me wrong - I love what I do and am very lucky to have a career I actually love. But there’s a huge difference between working to feel worthy and important versus working because you enjoy it. Not to mention, the results of both those circumstances vary greatly as well. So in today’s episode, I’m sharing the 3 things I did to recover from being a workaholic so that I could enjoy my work, operate at my best, and avoid burnout.

I start by defining what the term “workaholic” means to me. Then, I explain the difference between being busy and playing big. Finally, I share the 3 things I did that allowed me to take a step back and recover from my workaholic tendencies. If you’re like me and constantly feel the need to hustle and grind, this episode is for you.

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • What the term “workaholic” means to me
  • Recognizing the difference between being busy and playing big
  • The importance of building systems and outsourcing
  • Why I recommend getting tasks you hate off your plate immediately
  • Why you need to give yourself permission to grow slowly

As an ads agency owner, I work with multi-figure and now mostly seven-figure coaches, many of which I have worked with long-term. In working in the back end of my clients’ businesses and in building relationships with them through the years, I have learned so many valuable lessons about running and scaling a business.

In being with my clients through the different stages of business and really going through it with them as a member of their teams, I noticed a pattern in what many of them were going through. Today I wanted to share some of these valuable lessons to help us all as we are all on our own business-building journeys.

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • Beware of burnout
  • Business fluctuations are normal and failed launches happen
  • Consistency is key
  • It is necessary to outsource and build a solid team

Today’s topic is a hot one as it is something I get asked ALL the time and something that I’ve seen several people talking about recently. Are Facebook ads still worth it?

I started running Facebook ads in the corporate world in 2015 and many things have changed over the years. I can understand how all of the changes can make one feel skeptical, but once you better understand them and what they mean you will see that the short answer to the question is still a resounding YES. Tune in now to learn more about the changes that have happened over the last two years, what the changes mean, and how to work with the changes to still successfully run Facebook ads for your business.

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • How the old Facebook ads structure made us “lazy”
  • How changes in tracking have changed visibility on what’s happening during a launch
  • The decrease in targeting options
  • Staying on top of your skill building and learning as an ads manager to keep up
  • Making sure that your messaging is dialed in

Every now and then, I hear someone say “sales funnels are sleazy.” Even though I think this statement is dating out a bit since people are having more and more experiences with sales funnels that aren’t sleazy, I understand where it’s coming from. As we move deeper into a more authentic and honest way of marketing, building a funnel that isn’t sleazy is the key to building trust and converting customers. Tune in to this episode as I share tactical tips to avoid sleazy sales tactics so you can build an authentic funnel.

Here’s a closer look at what I discuss in this episode:

  • Why funnels get a bad rep
  • Why you should not trick your prospects
