Beat Saber is 100% a Workout!
I can unequivocally say that, at least in my non-expert, typically lazy, and lover of NO workouts ever created, the answer is Y-E-S. 100% YES. Beat Saber is definitely a workout.
I initially had zero interest in playing Beat Saber; I had no desire to learn it either. But, man I'm so glad that I did. This former lazy mama and lover of no workouts ever have been reformed. And, my cardiovascular health thanks me.
For those that don't know what Beat Saber is, it's a virtual reality (VR) rhythm game that takes place in a surrealistic neon environment where you use virtual lightsabers to slice through blocks representing musical beats, either from the music you would typically hear on the radio (via music packs or MODs) or from Beat Saber's own music library. To say it takes a great deal of hand and eye coordination would be a gross understatement.

If you have a school-aged child, please read this. Even if your kids are older, still... read this.
We never let our son play willy nilly within the games themselves, and we monitored the games he played and limited his overall screentime. We taught him the rules of internet safety and when to call for us if he wasn't sure about something. He's a good kid, with extremely high attention to detail and a creative side that is unmatched. So, learning what we did about a week ago was stressful and heart-wrenching. For all of us.

Hey everyone. E- Family mom here. I don't have anything major to discuss today. Nothing ultra-important, but. It sure would be nice to not have such divisiveness in our country. It just seems to be getting worse before it's getting any better.
But, then again... I am the eternal optimist.

This post (recording) will be hard to write (record). It was certainly hard to live through, but this was from my perspective. I can only imagine what it was like for my Mom, who suffered from the inside. This story is real, and it's raw, and it's from my perspective.
This is a first-hand account of what it was like to watch someone suffer from mental illness, and addiction, from the outside.
