What if the biggest breakthroughs in your business aren't found in the milestone moments but in everything that happens in-between?
This episode originally aired on The In-Between Podcast With Kassidy Lynne Social, where Victoria joined host, Kassidy Lynne, for a conversation about entrepreneurship, branding, and the difference between being liked and being chosen. Together, they explore the surprising parallels between training for a HYROX competition and building a sustainable business, reminding us that the consistency, resilience, and character developed in the "in-between" are what prepare us for the moments we've been working toward all along.
Victoria shares the story behind building BrandWell from a side hustle into a thriving all-female branding agency while raising her three daughters, along with practical insights on brand positioning, creating a website that actually converts, leveraging social media to build trust, and why clarity is what truly sets businesses apart. Whether you're in a season of growth, feeling stuck between milestones, or simply needing a reminder that your daily work matters, this conversation will leave you encouraged to embrace the process instead of rushing toward the finish line.

In this episode, Victoria is jumping in between seasons to unpack two major announcements you might have seen in the online business world:
👉 Jenna Kutcher’s farewell to The Goal Digger Podcast
After nearly a decade and 968 episodes, Jenna shared that she’s pausing the podcast to choose peace, presence, and creative spaciousness over performance.
👉 Amy Porterfield’s announcement about closing Digital Course Academy
One of the most iconic online course programs in the creator space will no longer be open for enrollment as Amy leans into what’s next.
These moves are not about failure or burnout, they’re strategic shifts from two leaders who have built brands, not just offers. In today’s short episode, Victoria digs into what these decisions reveal about how people are choosing now, why offer tweaks aren’t enough when your brand isn’t aligned, and how you can build longevity in your own business.
She also shares:

If you’ve ever caught yourself waiting for the “perfect” moment to launch, post, or raise your prices, this episode is your wake-up call. You’ll hear from Victoria why waiting until you feel ready is the very thing holding you back and how taking imperfect action is what actually builds the confidence you’ve been waiting for. This episode is the reminder that progress doesn’t come from overthinking, it comes from doing.
Victoria shares how to spot the sneaky ways perfectionism disguises itself as productivity, and how to replace it with momentum-building habits that grow your confidence, your business, and your impact. She continues to share real life examples from launching BrandWell without a perfect plan to her husband paying off debt one small step at a time. From these personal stories, you’ll see how action leads to clarity, courage, and ultimately, success.
If you’ve been sitting on that website redesign, waiting to raise your prices, or convincing yourself you need to “feel confident first,” consider this your friendly nudge of encouragement. Confidence isn’t a prerequisite for action, it’s a result of it. So, hit play, take one small step, and start building the proof that you can do hard things. Because perfectionism won’t move your business forward… but progress will.

“One of the biggest lessons that I've learned in my adult life so far is that growth doesn't ever feel easy.” –Victoria Marcouillier
This is a very special week as Victoria is turning 33 and the podcast is turning 5! In this special birthday episode, Victoria gets real about turning 33 and the reflections that come with stepping into a new season of life and business. After five years of juggling motherhood, entrepreneurship, and building BrandWell into a thriving design agency, she shares how shifting gears toward a boutique, higher-touch business model has brought both clarity and growing pains. The changes may feel uncomfortable at times, but Victoria opens up about why she sees this season as a sign of meaningful growth.
As she looks ahead, Victoria shares the three main areas she’s choosing to focus on this year: getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, creating better organization for her calendar and her mind, and building BrandWell with a long-term vision. From hiring her first business mentor and surrounding herself with women further ahead, to creating more margin in her daily routines and finally building a CEO dashboard to organize big-picture ideas, she’s leaning into the discomfort of change while also setting herself up for greater clarity and peace.
Victoria also reflects on how her mindset has shifted since her 20s, from chasing hustle and quick wins to embracing the slow, steady, and meaningful work of creating a legacy brand. With honesty and vulnerability, she shares how she’s learning to measure success less by monthly sales and more by profitability, sustainability, and consistency over time. Whether you’re in a season of hustle, growth, or reflection, this episode will inspire you to pause, take inventory, and start planting the seeds for your own long game.

“Pretty brands don’t pay the bills. Branding and Website design without strategy? It may look nice, but they’re not going to convert.” –Victoria Marcouillier
Ever wonder how BrandWell came to be? Over the last six, almost seven years, Victoria has taken BrandWell from side hustle to a boutique branding and web design agency. For the first time ever, Lauren, BrandWell’s COO, is stepping in as host and is interviewing Victoria on how she got to where she is today! Victoria shares her entrepreneurial journey, from early side hustles to discovering her passion for website design and marketing. Inspired by her parents’ example and a chance opportunity, she reveals how those beginnings sparked the creation of BrandWell, a boutique branding agency designed to deliver quality, connection, and balance between business growth and family life.
As Lauren guides the conversation, you’ll hear how Victoria strategically grew BrandWell without losing sight of its identity. From hiring contract designers to navigating team growth, she shares the real challenges and lessons of building a business with intention. You’ll also learn why she chose to keep BrandWell intentionally boutique, focusing on elevated client experiences over endless scaling, and how this decision shaped the company’s culture and success.
Together, Lauren and Victoria dive into the heart of branding, why trust, empathy, and strong client relationships matter, and how investing in your brand early can completely transform your business. With practical insights on brand identity, polished online presence, and creating a client experience that lasts long after the project ends, this conversation will leave you encouraged, inspired, and ready to step boldly into your own entrepreneurial journey.

Victoria also tackles the all-too-common issue of cheap branded items—like flimsy tote bags or boxy t-shirts—that end up in the junk drawer. Instead, she offers smart strategies for creating practical, visually appealing merchandise that reflects your brand identity and keeps you top of mind.
Whether you're an entrepreneur or small business owner, this episode delivers actionable tips to elevate your brand through thoughtful merchandise. Tune in and learn how to make your merch as bold and intentional as your brand.

Welcome back to The Branding Business School Podcast - Season 8! After a 15-week hiatus, Victoria is thrilled to reconnect with you all and share insights from her unconventional summer. This episode kicks off with reflections on taking time off from BrandWell to spend quality time with her children, embracing a flexible and unstructured work routine.
This summer, Victoria decided to eliminate structured meetings and obligations from her calendar, so that she could prioritize being present for her girls. Balancing work and motherhood, especially with young children, poses its challenges, but it was mentally relieving to remove internal meetings and focus on being present with her family. With her team’s support, Victoria could prioritize essential projects while delaying others. Her daily work routine centered around her children’s nap and quiet times, offering a consistent yet limited work window that allowed her to invest in meaningful family moments, including cherished evenings with her husband, James.
The experience of balancing work and family life turned out to be more rewarding than she anticipated. Despite initial fears of a dip in sales, June was a strong month, and July even broke records, highlighting the strength of BrandWell’s systems and team. Pre-scheduling content and conducting efficiency audits were key strategies that maintained business operations smoothly during her time off. By trimming non-essential tasks and focusing on impactful ones, Victoria ensured crucial operations were always addressed. This intentional shift underscored the importance of building a flexible business that supports family life, and Victoria is grateful for the unexpected success and the divine blessings that made it possible. Tune in to hear more about how taking a step back can sometimes propel your business forward.

If you're hoping to hear about how I time-block my day into 30-minute increments and kick off each morning with a detox tea, sorry to disappoint ya! As a busy, working mom with a growing business, a team of designers, and a self-produced podcast, my detox tea looks more like a shot of espresso and my time-blocking is heavily dependent on my daughter's nap schedule.
In this episode of The BrandWell Podcast, you'll find less "do-this-every-day-and-you'll-be-successful" and more of a"whatever-works-for-you" mentality. I am all about grace and the freedom to be flexible in the difficult season of working from home with young children.
In today's episode, I share my best tips for staying organized, prioritizing what's urgent, and how to get started with outsourcing so that you can grow your business while still being present with your family. Enjoy!
The problem with marketers is that we think like marketers!
When you step back and think like a human; like a consumer, you realize how annoying some of these marketing strategies really are.
Customer and user experience is EVERYTHING these days, so make sure that you're not making these common marketing mistakes that are causing your clients and prospects to unsubscribe, unfollow, and forever abandon your brand.

Gen Z is likely going to change the landscape of advertising as the oldest of them are now graduating college and entering the workforce and we better pay attention.
