Jasmine James is a current PhD student studying Community Psychology. She is also a Chicago native; born and raised on the Southeast Side. The focus of her research is how violence impacts neurological development in young people. This podcast seeks to create accessible, community based conversations focused on creating solutions to the violence plaguing the City of Chicago. It will also analyze how to incorporate psychological based practices into those solutions.
