My Interpretation of "Long and Low" is probably not what you're expecting. Typically used within the ridden world of equestrianism the term often refers to a ridden frame where the horse seeks contact and stretches over their back. In this podcast I talk about long and low as a mind set.
In this episode I discuss the different forms of tension our horses may experience. And encourage listeners to think about their horses previous history and their management practices.
In this episode I discuss how horses may internalise or externalise their thoughts and feelings. In addition to how we as riders deal with spooky/unwanted behaviour, ultimately determines if the hurdle is overcome or if we remain in a vicious cycle. I use my own experiences to better explain.
