HOPE is Here focuses on issues such as divorce, financial stress, cancer, death of a loved one, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, rejection, anger and many others. I will share from my personal journey of overcoming some of the obstacles that caused me pain and shame – being sexually violated as a child, pre-mature baldness, divorce and bankruptcy. I also share from John Maxwell’s book, “Failing Forward.” I am fortunate to have my own story in Chapter 6 about how I overcame personal and professional failures. Because of my HOPE in Jesus I am now able to share hope with those who find themselves in similar overwhelming situations.
When you reach bottom, do you finally pray for Help? If so, it’s the first, great prayer; the first honest prayer that anyone can pray. Today Greg shares encouragement about surrender to God and allow him to take care of things.
