John Polito – Founder of Audio Mechanics, one of the leading Motion Picture sound restoration facilities in the country, will discuss his 30-year career touching on his early days working in the music industry, restoring audio on classic features as THE ROBE, MY FAIR LADY, and audio reconstruction for the Academy Film Archive restoration of the 1932 Pre-Code comedy COCK OF THE AIR.
John is a presently serving his first term as a member of the Board of Directors for AMIA, and is a member of NARAS

Regina Longo – Founding Director of Albanian Cinema Project and Associate Editor Film Quarterly Journal will discuss her early years at the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation, managing the restoring and reconstructing of the outtakes on Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah, and working on restoring Albanian film heritage. Regina also will speak about her friendship with Oddball film / San Francisco Media Archive founder and Albanian Cinema Project board member Stephen Parr.
She is being honored in November 2017 by the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) with The Alan Stark Award.

Bob O’Neil – Retired Vice President of Preservation & Restoration of Universal Studios will discuss his 50-year career, touching on his days at Screen Gems Television, the restoration and reconstruction of the 1958 Orson Wells masterpiece TOUCH OF EVIL, and the 2008 Universal Studios fire.
Bob is a founding member of AMIA, the winner of AMIA’s first Spotlight award in 2014, and is a 30-year member of AMPAS.
Robert A. Harris – In Part 2 of our interview with the award-winning motion picture preservationist, Robert will discuss his restoration work on MY FAIR LADY, VERTIGO, REAR WINDOW, THE GODFATHER and the digital reconstruction of IT’S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD.
Robert A. Harris – In Part 1 of a 2-part interview, the award-winning motion picture preservationist will discuss his early years in film distribution, his involvement in bringing Abel Gance’s NAPOLEON back to America in the late 1970’s, the saga of the restoration and reconstruction of David Lean’s masterpiece LAWRENCE OF ARABIA and Stanley Kubrick’s 1960 historical epic SPARTACUS.

Adrian Wood – BAFTA and Peabody winning film preservationist will discuss his early years working in film research based in England back in the 1970’s and 1980’s on various titles like Crime Inc, The Troubles, and The Second World War in Colour.
