A number of recent articles and studies are outlining the devastating effects bullying have on the future mental health and wellbeing of those effected when young, in later mental health issues. Following discussion on a weekly twitter debate on mental health stigma #mhstigma, I decided to find out more and offer a way of broadening discussion and pointing towards recovery. Thanks to Dr Oren Amitay, a Toronto based resident psychologist for his time and expertise to organise this first in a short series on the topic. Moving forward, I hope to hear some stories from those who have made there way through the trauma to recovery. Please get in touch if you have a story to tell. Complete confidentiality is a guarantee and we will only share your story with your permission. Let's break the circle and cycle of bullying, for all and for good Contact me at donaghmckeown@gmail.com #mentalhealth #mhstigma #bullying #wellbeing #donaghmckeown #compassion #listen
