This week we had Celebration Sunday, where looked back over everything that's happened over the last year and in looking forwards, Phil shared his vision to see each one of us to spend a year pointing our lives at others to see more of the kingdom of god across Europe.
This week Mark closes out his series The Table, where he explores mission as being more than an auditorium and how we bring it to our homes and to our table. He sits at the table with Mephibosheth, the Queen of Sheba, and Zacchaeus, where he looks at the gifts we can give those who sit with us.
Jesus instructed us to take communion regularly with one another, and in this second part of his series Mark explores why communion is so significant for us as Christians.
This week Mark launches us into a three part series called The Table. The table is an increasingly overlooked part of community, and it's something that is present throughout the bible. In this first instalment Mark invites us to start a conversation on how we can use the table to help build our communities big and build them well.
Phil continues our series Authentic Humanity, where he looks at Psalm 139. This Psalm reveals how deeply God knows us and how dedicated he is to us. Phil asks the question - Do we live according to the reality of who we are and whose we are?
Throughout our lives, we encounter things that shake our faith. This week Sarah looks at Psalm 73, and how it teaches us to have secure footing and make our way back to faith.
This week Sarah kicks off our new series; Authentic Humanity: Lessons from Psalms. To have the right perspective on life we first need to have our position right before God, and Sarah looks importance of knowing God is sovereign and He is on the throne and yet he invites each of us to draw near.
City group Sunday saw us launch into this season of discovering and walking in the way of Jesus.
In this week's podcast, Sarah continues to look at our humanity and encourages us that as much as we must acknowledge weakness we should also expect God's power.
In this week's podcast, Ralph takes a looks at Mark 14:3-9 and what we can learn from the extravagant worship that we find there.
Our approach to weakness is often to deny, tolerate or despise it when Hebrews 4 tells us Jesus both understands and sympathises with it. This week Sarah looks at what we need to do with weakness and how we can accept Jesus' consistent invitation to embrace and restore our humanity.
What does success mean to you? Is it measured by performance, position or possessions? The danger is, all these things will never be enough. God defines success in a completely different way, from a completely different place. Could it actually be as simple as loving Jesus and loving those he puts in our lives. That’s success from heavens point of view!
This week Phil looks at how our lives are orientated towards seeking God (2 Chronicles 7:14). The concept of seeking is reflected as we ‘crave’ God and ‘require Him as a necessity’. Do those two things resemble our pursuit of God?
Emma Hodges shares from Psalm 37, encouraging us that a season of waiting, however long or uncertain it might be, can have as much purpose as the fulfilment of that waiting.
When Jesus is the editor-in-chief of our lives we understand that we're not reading from a script, instead we're writing our own story. This week Mark explores the power in re-writing our stories and believing the narrative that Jesus speaks over us.
This week Lizete looks at how we called to be living stones that God is building together into a house where he lives. We each have a part to play in showing up, building each other up, connecting you one another and having our lives built on and in alignment with Jesus, the living cornerstone.
This week, Phil looks at how the church is built around the infrastructure of people growing in maturity.
This week Sarah looks at what Romans 4 teaches us about walking into God's promises by faith. We need to be able to face facts but be unwavering in not only what God has said but that He is fully able to fulfil his word.
This week, special guest speaker Danny Silk encourages us that seeing hopes and dreams realised will lead to a fulfilled life.
In this weeks podcast, guest speaker Shawn Bolz speaks to us about how we are hard-wired for a life lived in connection.

This week Sarah looks at the journey of maturity that requires us to be intentional about the things we need to 'put off' and 'put on' when it comes to our finances.
This week Sarah looks at how being sure of our identity is vital for us to be set free and to become more forward in our journey to maturity in how we handle our money.
This week Sarah looks at some of the things that stop us from responding to the call to be a generous people who have firmly decided that we will serve God, and not money.
For City Group Sunday Phil talks about living in community, and how your life is an open letter displaying God's heart for those around us to read.
In Matthew 6:21 Jesus tells us that there's a direct correlation between our heart and our treasure. Saying, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also..." In this talk, San challenges the motivation of our hearts, and our attitudes toward giving. Then outlines what a generous lifestyle can look like, as we each take personal responsibility to cultivate new motives of the heart. A heart that ultimately looks like Jesus!
In Luke 15 Jesus connects us to the deep reality of a good father; a God who meets us on the road of our story and comes running to meet us, love us, restore us and forgive us.
What should our lives look like when it comes to being generous with our money? This week Santino spoke on some principles that we can put into practice from 2 Corinthians 9:6-11. He looked at the principle of sowing and reaping; that generosity is actually a heart issue - what we give comes from the condition of the heart. Santino looked at how God is more than able to provide all we need in all seasons of life, and he also looked at how what we sow multiplies and gets bigger, giving us more to be generous with. But ultimately, everything we do, and every generous act, all points to an incredible God!
This week Sarah looks at what tithing looks like in the new covenant where we not required by the law but empowered by grace to walk in Gods principles and promises.
In the second part of our series, Phil explores how our finances are a fundamental part of living a life of integrity - especially what we choose to do with the “first-fruits”. Placing God at the centre of how use our money is a fundamental part of preparing ourselves to see God move throughout our world!
This week Sarah starts our new series Faithfulness to Fruitfulness and looks at the consistent promises of God to bless his people. In this first part, she challenges us to realise that this goes much further than our bank balance, that it matters for Manchester that we learn to be good stewards of what we have been given.
Phil invites us to embrace the season God has for us, and calls us to be prepared with the right tools for the job!
What do we do when we’re not ruling in life? We look to word of the one who rules over our life! Phil points us to the God who is both promise maker and promise keeper.
On Easter Sunday, Santino invites us to encounter the risen and living Jesus - who once was dead but is now Alive!
Check out the video San mentions here: https://youtu.be/Wmx4__dVoyc
This week Sarah looks at how we have been made righteous by Jesus as a free gift of grace, but there is still a high call on each of us to live in that righteousness and become the pure and spotless bride Jesus has paid for.
This week, Banning shared with us the significance of living encouraged and how the presence of God and community are key to us living full of courage.
This week, Mark looks at how the message of Haggai can be a blueprint for restoration through the church today.
The story of Haggai gives us great encouragement in our journey of being obedient to all that God is calling us to.
Through Haggai, God spoke to His people and reawakened them to what they were called and destined to do... Build His house, the temple, the place where His presence lived. They had neglected their God-given responsibility and focused on other things. Haggai was sent by God to remind them who they were, what they were about, and to call them back! It's time to build Gods house again!
This week Sarah introduces our new series Haggai and looks at how we take our place in Gods masterplan for everything to find perfection and fulfilment in Jesus.
In the book of Acts we read how Jesus' first followers were filled with a dynamic power to live for Him. (Acts 1:8) They were filled / baptised with the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus had promised. This same promise is for us today! We can receive a dynamic power from God that enables us to live, look and sound like Jesus to everyone around us. Be filled and go on being filled with the Holy Spirit!
Who is the Holy Spirit? This question has baffled and confused many people. In this message, Santino looked at the Holy Spirit being a "He" just as Jesus describes many times in John 16. Also that "He" the Holy Spirit is God! John 4:24 "God is Spirit" This being the case the Holy Spirit is fully and completely divine, just as God the Father and God the Son, and in the same way can be worshipped and adored. Santino also looked at 2 primary things the Holy Spirit does in our lives. Firstly He brings Regeneration, Jesus saves, and the Holy Spirit washes us new! Renewal & rebirth by the Spirit just as Titus 3 tells us. Secondly, because God the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us, He continues to affirm our new identity as Gods loved children, that we are loved, and this is the place we now live from.
Who Cares? Discovering that beyond my choice to care for the person or situation in front of me is the full resource of heaven to supernaturally meet the needs that are in front of me.
The process to possess - Learning to walk in faith, obedience, courage and with endurance as we look to take hold of the promises, purpose and plans of God over our lives.
This week Sarah looks at the need to forgive ourselves when we get it wrong and how God's grace forgives and restores us, rather than letting shame and regret keep us from a hope-filled future.
Sarah encourages us that the Gospel is empowered by the Holy Spirit, and we can partner with him to see lives transformed.
This week Sarah looks at three elements which are vital in walking with a sustained faith for salvation. We need to be compelled by the love of God and convinced of the power of the gospel message; these things are the healthy internal fuel for mission. But we also need to know we are commissioned to go which involves a disciplined choice by each of us, it's not about waiting until I feel like it or have it all figured out - it's about embracing my role as an ambassador and following the call to go!
In Celebration of the 28 years that Vinelife has been gathering as a church family, Phil and Sarah share a message reminding us of God’s faithfulness and the promise of his presence in our future.
This week Phil helps us see that a sustainable Christian life is built on the foundation of our identity as sons and daughters of God. We share the gospel, not because of external pressure, but because of who we are.
This week Mark shares two stories of us and them. As we're sent out into the harvest to share the good news of Jesus, Mark helps 'us' see 'them' as people, not projects, instead being moved in compassion just as Jesus was.
This week Sarah looked at how we must have faith in the gospel's message in order to have increasing faith for salvation, and recognise that it is of immense value and real power.
This week Phil spoke from Luke 15 where he looked at ‘coming to our senses’, the incredible journey from death to life that we experienced through Jesus and in turn help others around us discover.
This week Santino continues our new series on the Gospel. He spoke about Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, and how he is not simply one of the ways to reach God, but is the ONLY way. While religion says 'do this', grace says it is done!
This week special guest speaker Jimmy Horner from The Mission calls us to respond to the needs we see around us in the way that Jesus did.
This week, Santino kicks off our new series ‘The Gospel: Carrying Faith for Salvation’. He goes back to the incredible good news of the gospel, and gives a powerful reminder of all Jesus did on the cross.
This week we launch our City Groups, as we take a deeper look at the bible together. Phil gives us a head-start this week, looking at how we find our story in the big story of scripture
This week Sarah continues her message on Ephesians 6:13, this time looking at what it means to stand.
This week Sarah looks at the reality that we are in a spiritual battle and our walk is always in partnership with God. At times there are things for us to do, to pay attention to and put our hand to and we looked this morning at some of the "all things" we need to do. At other times all we need do or can do is stand, trust in God and wait for him to do.
The Normal Christian Life can be grown and sustained from a foundation of our identity. This week we dived into John 15 where Jesus gives us a clear picture of a life that can grow and produce lasting fruit.
This week Mark talks to us about the seasons and change in our lives, and how to respond to them in faith.
As sons and daughters of God, we get the incredible privilege of imparting courage, confidence and hope into the lives of others; helping people see who Jesus is and what He's doing. This week, Santino speaks to us on encouragement, and how our encouragement should always point toward Him.
This week, Sarah talks about becoming so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking, and how to avoid it.
This week, Sarah explores what it is to know and believe God and walk in understanding.
It was such a joy to host Jimmy & Genea Horner from RDSN, Mexico this week. Jimmy shares on the process to faith, and you can check out the video we played at http://rdsn.org/romania/
Seasons of waiting are an opportunity to lean into God with prayers of anticipation, which lead to preparation for what He's going to do. Special guest speaker Banning Liebscher.
Mark invites us to be intentional in our pursuit of God, showing us that working out our spiritual hunger looks like making some practical choices about how we live our lives.
We continue looking at how worship and hunger relate, with Penny and Jon looking at some of the Hebrew words for praise.
Phil is joined by some of our worship leaders as we look at how worship and our hunger for God are interwoven.
Phil encourages us that in our pursuit of God, we need to cast off anything and everything that hinders us or steals our attention.
Mark looks at 2 Chronicles 5, when the Ark of the Covenant was brought into the newly-built temple, showing us how worship and the presence of God are connected
As we close our series, Santino shows us that we can walk in freedom from fear, allowing love to grow in its place.
Phil calls us to know the season we're in, and encourages us that we can bear fruit in every season!
Sarah looks at self-control - and shows us that the sooner we learn to engage it, the better!
Sarah looks at faithfulness, and how our view of God affects our ability to walk in faithfulness or fear.
Mark and Sarah help us walk in patience, in spite of a culture that tells us we can have it all and have it now!
Santino helps us see that the kind of love the spirit produces in us is faithful, steady and unfailing.
Sarah starts our new series - looking at the fruit that comes with a life led by the Spirit.
Phil & Sarah look at two gifts God wants to give us this year: faith for salvation and a hunger for Him and His kingdom.
Phil gives us some keys to working out the overlap of our internal world with those of others.

We're delighted to have Banning Liebscher, director of Jesus Culture, share with us on the significance of thankfulness as we take responsibility for our inner world.
At our evening gathering, Sarah shares on the significance of choosing to plant ourselves in family.
Phil looks at some of Jesus' teaching on prayer, as we see that prayer is a foundation for us to build our lives on.
Guest speaker Darren Davis, from Harbour Church, South Florida joins us and shares on having an un-offendable heart which is fuelled by supernatural love.
Mark helps us examine our relationship with the bible and the generational lenses we might see it through. However we choose to read it, Mark invites us to meet Jesus in the pages of scripture.
Santino looks at some of the foundational steps of following Jesus, including the ongoing process of being filled with the Spirit.
As we start our new teaching series, Sarah encourages us to remain in Jesus and that he dwells in us too.
We're so excited to have Santino, Emma and their family join us here in Manchester! This morning they share some of their story, vision and what God has placed on their hearts as they're welcomed into our church family and commissioned into leadership.
This morning we relaunch our kids' work for a new year with a new name: Game Changers. Sarah unpacks what it means for all of us, of every age, to be a game changer and to know the ultimate Game Changer: Jesus!
