He who is auspicious and who is like the newly risen sun causing the lotus-face of Gauri to blossom, He who is the destroyer of the sacrifice of Daksha, He who has a blue throat and has a bull as his emblem, Salutations to that Shiva, who is represented by the syllable "shi"

He who is worshipped with water from the Mandakini river and smeared with sandal paste, He who is the lord of Nandi and of the ghosts and goblins, the great Lord, He who is worshipped with Mandara and many other flowers, Salutations to that Shiva, who is represented by the syllable "ma"

शयने यः स्मरेन्नित्यं दुःस्वप्नस्तस्य नश्यति ।।
Raamam skandham hanumamtam Vainateyam vrukodaram Shayane yah smarennityam Duswapnam tasya nashyati
Meaning : Remembering Shriram, Kartikeya, Hanuman, Garuda and Bhima while going to sleep eliminates nightmares.
ज्ञानानन्दमयं देवं निर्मल स्फटिकाकृतिम् आधारं सर्व विद्द्यानां हयग्रीवं उपास्महे Jnananandamayam devam nirmala sphatikakrutim, aadharam sarvavidyaanaam Hayagreevamupasmahe.
Meaning: I worship Lord Hayagreeva, who is the very form of knowledge, pure as a crystal, and who is the support of all knowledge.

Brahmaiva Tena Gantavyam BrahmakarmāSamādhinah. The act of offering is God. The oblation is God. By God it is offered into the Fire of God. God is That which is to be attained by him who performs action pertaining to God.
Hanuman : बुद्धिर् बलम् यशो धैर्यम् निर्भयत्वम् अरोगताम् अजाड्यम् वाक् पटुत्वम् च हनुमत् स्मरणात् भवेत् ॥ Buddhir Balam Yasho Dhairyam Nirbhayatvam Arogataam Ajaaddyam Vaak Pattutvam Ca Hanumat Smarannaat Bhavet ||
Meaning: 1: (From the contemplation on the character and activities of Hanuman) Intelligence (Buddhi) (to understand a situation), Strength (Bala) (to execute a work), Graceful Appearance (Yashas) (to please others), Patience (Dhairyam) (to wait for the appropriate moment and work with the appropriate pace), ... 2: ... Fearlessness (Nirbhayatvam) (to tackle a situation), Free from Disease (Arogatam) (to work with good health), ... 3: ... Free from Laziness (Ajadyam) (to be up and doing) and Skillfulness in Speech (Vak Patutvam) (to communicate properly), ... 4: ... (All these) becomes (one's own traits of character) from the contemplation on Hanuman.

Meaning: 1: O Holy Rivers Ganga and Yamuna, and also Godavari and Saraswati, 2: O Holy Rivers Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri; Please be Present in this Water (and make it Holy).
कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मिः करमध्ये सरस्वति । करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥ Karaagre Vasate Lakssmih Karamadhye Sarasvati | Karamuule Tu Govindah Prabhaate Karadarshanam ||
Meaning: 1: At the Top of the Hand (i.e. Palm) Dwell Devi Lakshmi and at the Middle of the Hand Dwell Devi Saraswati, 2: At the Base of the Hand Dwell Sri Govinda; Therefore one should Look at one's Hands in the Early Morning and contemplate on Them.
