What leaders can learn from Ted Lasso?
There are so many nuggets in this show for leaders and people. It’s filled with kindness, humor and a really feel good show. Ted Lasso is showing another side of leadership that we don’t often see today. The old saying, “nice guys finish last” is how most leaders approach their business and teams. We need to change that approach and “nice guys/girls” can finish ahead by demonstrating vulnerability.

Exciting news to Announce: We have a Vineyard!
A dream and goal has come to fruition. In 2004, I worked in Napa and dreamed of one day owning a vineyard!! After a ton of grit, 15 years of hard-work and determination, my dream has come true. I grew up in Northern California and spent as much time in Napa Valley as possible. In 2004, I relocated to Green Valley, a small town just outside of Napa on Highway 12. I had just wrapped up 10 years at a medical device company and was ready for a break from the corporate grind. I landed a job at New Vine Logistics in Napa Valley and was an Account Manager responsible for helping small wineries ship wine to states outside of California. My “ ffice" was meeting space at small wineries where I collaborated directly with wine makers and vineyard owners. I fell in love with the winemaking process and the vineyard lifestyle. So much so, I dug up a small patch of grass in my backyard (with the help of my son) and planted grapes. It was then that my dream was to one day own a small vineyard and make wine.
In 2020, John and I bought the Temecula vineyard; blending the Morgan and Botello into the MoBo Vineyard. The MoBo Vineyard estate is private and we plan to share this amazing property with those looking to host small intimate events. Dreams do come true with hard work, perseverance and determination. www.MoBoVineyard.com TheMoBoGroup@gmail.com

Reasons to watch the powerful Netflix Documentary 13th
Filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation's prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans.
I watched this documentary and I am so glad I did. It was shocking, saddening and educational. It presents us with much to contemplate - to challenge our own misconceptions and reflect on a past that is still far too injustice in our lives today.
