There is a whole new year awaiting us and that gets our minds going about what can we do in this new year. What will this New Year bring? How will it turn out? It would be great to predict the future, wouldn’t it? Many of us try to set a new plan for the new year. Planning is wise. It’s not a bad thing but in planning for a new year or at any time there is something we should always remember and that is to…

Plan With God

Key Passage:

Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will

stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know

what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little

while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live

and do this or that.”16 Otherwise you are boasting about your own pretentious plans,

and all such boasting is evil. 17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and

then not do it. (James 4:13-17) (NLT)

Today, we are finishing up with our series, "The Way of Love." In this series, we have been walking through 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 learning the characteristics of Godly Love and how to apply this love to our relationships. Godly love can transform our relationships with our spouses, our children, friends, and our church family to areas of restoration, healing, and growth. Not to mention, we are called to love in a different way; a better way.

View Details

Today, we are going to focus in on 1 Cor. 13:7 to understand what love always does. Paul says, "It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Cor. 13:7). And from this "always" of love, here is the overarching truth that I want you to grasp…

Love is Always Responsible

Jesus gave us the commandment to love. He said, “A new command I give you: Love one another." (John 13:34). This is not a suggestion. It’s a commandment. It is a responsibility.

In this message, Pastor David challenges us as spouses and family members. Listen as we explore how Scripture highlights that love is our responsibility.

P.S. Which of the four challenges are you going to take on this week?

In this series, we are looking at how love can transform our marriages and the relationships that are all around us. And the kind of love that we are looking at in this series not any kind of love. It is not love as defined by our culture or defined by our experience. We are instead looking at love from the perspective of the Apostle Paul’s directive in 1 Corinthians 14:1. Paul says this…"Follow the way of love…"

Paul tells us what…

Love Is...

Love Is Not…

Love Always Does…

Follow the Way of Love

In this message, we are going to look at what love is NOT. Paul says, "It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,…" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5)

To sum up all of these "nots" of love, let’s put it this way… Love is Not Rude

In this series, we are going to learn how love can transform our relationships. This series has the potential to change our lives when it comes to relationships like our marriage.

In this message, we learn the "what" and "why" of our mission. How many people are you investing in, caring for, discipling, teaching, loving? How's your burden to see people's life changed by Christ? Jesus' desire is for us to go and make disciples, sharing the good news! They's why it is so important to find our place as servants. We have a mission and God has crafted us uniquely to make a different in the mission.
