I know that when you listen to the podcast, it will say February 16th. Even though it was uploaded on the 17th. This is due to a technical difficulty. I had to upload it on the 17th of February. Julie Behling was my guest today on the LDS Live Podcast. She wrote a book called Beneath Sheep’s Clothing. Julie served an LDS mission in Russia and eventually was inspired to write the book Beneath Sheep’s Clothing. We discussed how I became a conservative from a Democrat. We discussed a few topics in her book such as civil rights, how Christians are often depicted in the media. We also talked about David Koresh, and Warren Jeffs. Even though both people were nut jobs more so Warren Jeffs. Law enforcement had no right to tear down the compound or take kids away from the mothers without Due Process. There needs to be a process. On this episode of the LDS Life Podcast, I interviewed a person named David Sanders. He also calls himself The Mormon Renegade. His podcast is called The Mormon Renegade. We discussed how he converted to the LDS church in 1995. We then discussed his conversion to fundamental Mormonism. We talked about his marriage to his second wife and how it came apart. David now atends a Mormon fundamentalist branch in Utah. We also discussed how he got in to podcast and he has some advice for those who want to get in to podcasts.

I decided to redo the podcast with Carl Watkins. This is because we both felt the other podcast was off topic in some parts. I will also delete the other podcast and the segments we did for the podcast at a later time.
We discussed Carl’s childhood, how he converted to the church, a dramatic story that occurred in his childhood. We then discussed some spiritual experiences on his mission. We thin discussed how he got in to radio and what brought about Sounds of Sunday. We also talked about how the program became syndicated.

I split the episode Carl Watkins Conversations and Sounds of Sunday in to segments. In this segment, we discussed Carl's conversion story. The next segment is called Carl's Life Experience, How Carl got interested in radio, Carl's Radio Career, and how Sounds of Sunday was created and syndicated. I also split a segment from the main episode a side conversation about LDS music, the future and our opinions about it.
We discuss Carl's traumatic experience concerning how he was saved from drowning in the ocean.

On this episode of the LDS Life Podcast, I interviewed Laree Westover. Many of you about her daughter Tara Westover. Tara wrote a book called educated. Laree Tara’s mother wrote her story in a book called educating. If you are going to read Educated from Tara Westover. I would strongly suggest you get Laree’s book Educating to get her story. Laree and I discussed her childhood, how she met her husband Val, midwifery, essential oils, and herbs. We also discussed home schooling, antibiotics, and more about herbs. I do want to make a clarification here. I am not against antibiotics. I pointed out in this podcast that I have used antibiotics and how they have helped me. The opinions expressed about herbs, essentials, and antibiotics are not necessarily mine. My producer Ralae also expressed her view on antibiotics and told us that she is currently on an antibiotic. Bryan Hyde was the guest on this episode of the LDS Life Podcast. Today, I interviewed Ammon Bundy. Ammon is now a gubernatorial candidate for Idaho. We discussed eliminating the property and income tax and replacing it with a consumption tax. This is where a person would be taxed on the property they bought. We also discussed 61 to 64 percent of the land in Idaho being owned by the federal government and most of that land needs to given back to the state of Idaho. We also discussed covid as it relates to Idaho and the letter the LDS church sent out of August 12, of this year.
