Today's episode is in the honor of the 2021 Olympics Games currently being held in Tokyo, Japan. Participating athletes are showcasing their prowess after almost 5 years of strenuous training and 1 year in a global pandemic.
We delve into the participation of Transgender people in sports and explore the progress to date. We also talk about doping, recounting the latest Sha'carri Richardson controversy and how the guidelines are almost blurry to the extent that Russian athletes were almost able to escape them.
Finally, we conclude our discussion on this topic by realizing that as spectators we perceive athletes as superhumans, and forget that they carry the burden on the entire country's entire expectation on their mind when they enter the stage.
