One hundred and thirty third Episode released on 12/17/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Hope everyone is having a good December and enjoying the holidays season. I myself am not focused on any of that. I have a lot of massive change coming and things I've been trying to get in order to make it all happen. I've hit that wall of anxiety and procrastination with a lot of it, but I am figuring out how to sort through it all in my head. On this episode I touch on that, but also on just exercising demons that I have once again trying to get back into the flow so I can make everything happen that I have planned. Special thanks to those who helped me in that process and been positive regardless if every activity was healthy or not. I definitely am learning to seek more balance in my life as I've been on the extreme ends and seen what that does. Actually, being a part of NFT communities has taught me this even more, to honor balance. I also noticed that due to me announcing massive change in my life that others around me who may have different circumstances start to question themselves. This was evident and I picked up on it a lot. It gave me good perspective and made me realize that I really am deciding to make change at a time when I truly have nothing to lose. I actually in a greater position than most and it made me be more grateful to see and know that. Last, I hit on how experiencing toxicity may end up changing on how you want to act in the world, but deep down it doesn't really change who you are. The mission and vision is still the same, but I am deciding to move differently and take on more risk in my life. I truly think it's what I need and while it may hurt those around me. They don't see the vision or know the pain that I carry. It's really about to be a thrilling time as I set out on my next endeavors. I haven't fully decided on how much energy I will have left to put into the pod, but I will probably be off and on it just as I always have. Time is ticking. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. The climb back isn't always a smooth process

2. When planning massive change, understand that almost nothing is going to go according to plan

3. While toxic things may change how you want to act, fundamentally you are still the same

One hundred and thirty second Episode released on 12/04/2021. Happy Saturday UG Fam! I'm back. Again. This time my absence was literally out of my control. I was silenced due to things that I touch on in the episode. This past month-month and a half was the darkest time period and most stressed out I've been in my adult life. The storms have finally started to clear and my path is looking clear ahead of me. I see where I must go and I've already set things in motion which you guys will be able to see over the course of the next month or so. It's time to become what I ought to be. Get my soul in alignment. Massive change is coming for my life and this episode discusses what triggered the expedited change. It's a long episode and goes over the mental health issues I had. I literally felt like I went crazy and was dangerous out there. I barely slept. I lost 15 pounds in a month. I was miserable. It's good to be back. It's also good to have calculated risks up my sleeve and see things are falling into place. I HAD TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS SHIT TO MAKE IT TO THIS POINT. Thank you to all those I leaned on during this time frame, those who listened, those who put up with my shit. I appreciate every last one of you. I also apologize to the ones I drug into all of this whether intentionally or inadvertently. All the women who I pulled in due to the confusion or whatever with Butterfly. On the career note, I will say, the people who tested me, tested the wrong man. On the personal note, I will also say, the person who hurt me the most was the person I had the most love for so be careful out there. Your biggest fear shouldn't be losing someone, it should be losing yourself. Everything will be in the book I am writing in way more detail someday. There's a whole lot more to my story. I'm using that pain to become the greatest. I want to reiterate I was cleared of any and all allegations of misconduct against me and a decline letter from the district attorney should arrive next week. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Going through things and absolutely losing your mind

2. Career and personal disclosures

3. Using that pain to become the greatest

One hundred and thirty first Episode released on 10/22/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Been a little bit, but I was traveling and wanted to enjoy that time with my friends. I went to Boise, Idaho to see my brother from another mother Roscoe! He graduated from BSU so I went out there to see him and celebrate that since I couldn't attend the actual graduation ceremony later this year. The trip was fun and I touch on it some in this episode. I also talk about the season change which I've noticed immensely since I've returned to Oregon. It's like I'm seeing things in slow motion and staring at a magnificent piece of art as I see the leaves change to the plethora of burnt colors. It's allowed me to do great reflection and feel really in tune with the change going on around me. I talk about how when you're this in tune, it usually means big change is coming in your life because you're noticing the change around you more. Second, I chose to drive to Boise instead of fly and I talk about this being a hack for more solid reflection time and deep work if you want it to be. I've done this a few times on certain trips and gotten a lot out of it. Can be something you try if you are seeking more growth. The book I'm listening to (not reading) talks about going into isolation to really tap into that deep work that will put you in a state of flow. Last, I received a random phone call from a lady named Judy whom I told a story about on this pod a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I could tell the pain in her voice from the jump. Judy's husband's health is failing and failing quickly. This is a terrible situation that I think we all fear. Growing old with a person you love and watching them fade quicker than you. Please keep Judy in your thoughts and prayers. While this was hard to hear from Judy in such a negative light. I don't think for one second there isn't further meaning behind why I'm getting this phone call at this particular time in my own life. I'm pulling more from it because it correlates to the vision I have running in my head. So some out of the blue things, really aren't out of the blue. They are reminders. Keep pushing. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. When you feel more in tune and in touch with your surroundings it's probably a sign that big change is coming

2. Don't always fly when traveling if it's a close enough trip

3. Some out of the blue things are not out of the blue, they are reminders

One hundred and thirtieth Episode released on 10/09/2021. Happy Saturday UG Fam! Hopefully y'all are enjoying the last of this nice weather before we roll deeper into fall. I definitely am starting to feel that cool crisp air roll in more especially at night out here in the Portland Metro area. Tonight, I'm excited to watch some heavyweights slam it out in the ring (Fury vs. Wilder). This fight was supposed to take place on my bday in NYC this year on my birthday, but well as you'll see later in this episode, sometimes you are wrong and the universe bends things. Also after I recorded this I received a phone call from my homies who are visiting LA right now having a good time. That's why I titled this episode this because I had to give them some friendly reminders to stay safe out there. Okay, so first I talk about how sometimes you are going to keep receiving signs from the universe and at times you are going to deny them. It's usually because you aren't properly aligned and you have this thing hovering over you called laziness. Just slow down, remember to keep your hand on the steering wheel and head in the right direction. Life is life, it's going to take time. I say this a lot, but you can't be on all the time. Sometimes you need to BS yourself, because no one is perfect. Second, I talk about when you finish learning something you don't really learn it until you apply the information with intention. I had to go through this after a long journey of studying something in particular. I wanted the reward yet I hadn't even implemented what I'd been learning. While, I'm playing it safe and waiting for the right entry point, I'm also going over this course a second time in order to pay attention to the details and really make sure I know what the f*** I'm doing moving forward. This can be super difficult though, because people don't like learning something twice, although, those who really want it, will do it. And will likely be more successful in their overall journey. Last, I talk about when you are wrong, you are wrong. I picked this up from Ray Dalio's book Principles which I started reading. I talk about how things swing in life quickly. Even when you don't think they will. You need to analyze why you are wrong. I've had so many things swing that didn't seem possible but you just have to understand you can't bend the universe to your will every time or to that preconceived way you think things will play out. It just doesn't work like that unfortunately. Continue to learn from them losses. I still am and I'm still taking my time with it. Stumbling and sometimes doing dumb things along the way, but it's okay keep pushing. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Denying some signals

2. Apply learned knowledge with intention

3. When you are wrong, you are wrong

One hundred and twenty-ninth Episode released on 10/01/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Welcome to October. For me this is going to be a very tough month I can already feel it. Although, I do have a lot of events to look forward to. I think it will balance out decently. Lately, I've been in a different mind frame. So much so, that once again, I put the pod to the side like I always do. I was asked to be a guest on a new pod by some friends, their show is called Big Duck Energy (please check it out if you are an Oregon football or College football fan). So put time and energy into that guest episode and didn't feel like hopping back on here. Then, a friend of mine sent me clips of my pod encouraging me to keep at it. The voice in my head told me, you know you can't stop forever ya know, people are counting on you. In this episode I talk about having weighted reasons to continue at whatever it is that you are at. When it's tough, bad, ugly, whatever. If you have solid weighted reasons then stop with the excuses and move. Second, I talked to y'all about getting off the tracks in the last episode. Well now I really feel as though I'm not off, I'm just on a completely new set of tracks. I feel like I have something to prove and I'm going to do it. I talk about how going through the tough times ALONE is sometimes truly needed. You have to go through shit alone and lean into it. Being a lone wolf is lethal. When you come out the other side of that I'm telling you, your gonna be able to out compete a majority of other people. And don't stop because you stop pleasing others in your life. It's not about them. It's about you and where you are trying to go to another level. Last, I talk about deep work, being focused, not distracted, not being content, having grander visions than most, doing calculations, in order to get to those higher levels. Don't forget many people wake up and just think about the day ahead of them. If you have a real vision that stretches out, I guarantee you are further ahead than most people. As we roll into October, keep pushing y'all. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Find weighted reasons to keep going

2. Not off the tracks, just on a completely other set

3. You have to get into deep work

One hundred and twenty-eighth Episode released on 09/06/2021. Happy Monday UG Fam! It's been a crazy holiday weekend for me. I hope you guys enjoyed it as well. I've been going through a lot mentally over the past few months. I've lost a lot of people I love. Having Drake drop CLB and Kayne drop Donda had me in my feelings over everything. I've been off the tracks for awhile now, and it's been a constant back and forth battle. At times, I want to throw in the towel but I realize that ain't me and never will be. I ended up going down to Oregon's first football game vs Fresno State. It's always a good thing going back to the place that molded me into who I am. It was a last minute thing but I felt the urge to go. Something in me told me to go down and I'm glad that I did because I was paying attention to the people I met and the things I saw. On this episode, the first thing I talk about is that getting off the tracks is going to happen. It's on us on how far off you go and how long. Secondly, I talk about paying attention to messages you are delivered while you are off the tracks. At a gas station, there was a rock next to the card reader that read "love yourself". I ended up asking the young employee who put it there and he told me "I did, I've been struggling with who I am and want people to have a reminder to really love themselves". I received the message, I didn't think it was random, I believe it was there for me. I also met a good soul who I ended up having a deep conversation with about what I'd been going through. Later in the night, she randomly pulled out a bouncy ball and started bouncing it around. On Friday morning, I had tweeted "You know how I bounce". I didn't take this as a coincidence. Once again, I received the message. It's up to you if you receive these messages as a "blessing". Last I talk about how no matter how long you're off the tracks, you can find your way back. I truly feel as though these things occurred in order for me to get back on my tracks and go further in life. We learn from our failures, we just have to keep failing, keep learning, and keep pushing. If you get off the tracks, get back on and GO FURTHER this time before getting off again. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Getting off the tracks is going to happen

2. When you're off the tracks, pay attention to what messages appear

3. No matter how long you're off the tracks, you can find your way back

One hundred and twenty-seventh Episode released on 08/20/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Man if you missed the episode last week, there was a lot of emotion in that one as my emotions were super heightened during that time frame, probably a good one to go back and check out. Today, I was a bit more laxed, even on the energy, but I still think I went over some good topics for you guys. First, I talk about just getting an objective opinion about whatever it is you are going through. Sometimes, it's just time to finally admit you need an outside resource to get through some things. That is okay, you shouldn't feel like it's not. An alternative could be to use your writing to get out feelings as well. This has always worked very well for me as I believe it's very therapeutic but that could just be my personality. Everyone is different. Second, I talk about revenge, which I totally think is okay to feel and go through as long as you keep control of it. It's a natural thing for us humans to feel. It's a tool to prevent others from taking advantage of us. It can also be very pleasing for the person experiencing that revenge. You've heard the saying sweet revenge. But don't let it become an addiction. Yes, you can let it fuel you, but keep it under wraps and have an awareness to it. Personally, I'm in that place right now, but I know it, and I also know where I'm going and I also know it's more about myself than it is about anyone else. I know my finish line in the revenge plot. Third, I talk about being able to accomplish feats while being broken, and that can be physically, emotionally, or mentally. The ability to do so, is called GRIT. This is a word I've talked about before as one of my life's greatest mentors taught me it. Please take time to learn it and develop it in your daily life. If you can take your mind to another place when the going gets tough. You can alter your results however you want. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Sometimes you need to talk or share to people outside your circle

2. Revenge has upsides when under control

3. Being broken and still pushing through is GRIT

One hundred and twenty-sixth Episode released on 08/13/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Where do I even begin? First off, thank you if you are still here. I can't even count anymore the number of times I have dropped off on this podcast. I know I have a gift for this and I know that the creative in me wants this to work, but the consistency that I preach isn't there. This might end up being the longest episode description just due to the time gap but also everything that has transpired in my life. I think when I left y'all the last time I had just gotten back from a trip to Montana that was amazing. I brought in a ton of perspective from that trip and dropped it on here, so if you haven't listened to that episode go back and do that. Speaking of trips, thats where I've been, but a lot happened prior and after, obviously I wasn't gone for an entire month. Prior to this huge summer trip, I had pre-planned it out with one of my closest and realest friends since the start of the year. We created an itinerary for 3 cities, 2 on the east coast and 1 in the south. During the course of this past year, I had developed an unimaginable romance with a particular person. I can't even begin to explain the type of love that ran its course. It was unlike anything I'd ever experienced in my life. The start of the summer was filled with memories and build up with this particular love interest. So of course this itinerary was created around this person. I had pulled out all the stops, after all this was going to be my second chance to obtain this individual. We had already went through a split earlier in the year, after which I turned into a f** beast. I had changed my entire life and was seeing the greatest output and energy I'd ever seen after the first split. So going into all this I was coming hard. Probably too hard, too much pressure. I'm a Leo after all. I won't get into all the details, but what I presumed to be a pivotal type of trip in my life definitely lived up to that. Just not in the way in which I thought. Instead, I was once again left heartbroken. 808's and heartbreak was the first album I played hopping in the whip. I turned to alcohol, one of my most troublesome vices to numb the pain. This was the very vice I had gained control over earlier in the year to turn into that beast I referenced. I let people down close in my life by not setting a good example and for that it weighed on my conscience. I know everyone makes their own decisions, but god damn Mike, you are supposed to be the one leading by example. I led poorly and I went to a dark place. The trip however, did turn out pivotal, just in a completely different way than I ever imagined. I still met a ton of amazing people, saw amazing talented creatives do their thing, ate amazing bomb food, had plenty of ab hurting laughs, and made a plethora of irreplaceable memories. Overall, I was placed in very uncomfortable situations and grew a ton. Coming back though, I had to unpack everything that had transpired. I had to dive deep into why things had transpired and that led me down a path I never wanted to go down. But one I had to take in order to really understand where I need to go from here on out. It's time, it really is. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Heartbreak happens

2. Unpacking the contents to your life is difficult

3. In order to grow, you have to get uncomfortable

One hundred and twenty-fifth Episode released on 07/02/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Man was I glad to get out of the blistering Portland heat last weekend. Who would of thought helping move my friends would save me from a heat wave. Hope you guys managed to stay cool and hope y'all are about to have a safe Fourth of July Weekend. This episode stems from my trip to Missoula, Montana to help my friends move into their new home. I was able to take some things away, some things have been shared on the pod before but were worth sharing again. First, I tell you guys to always help your friends move which I have already said before. Not only will you be able to rely on them when it comes your time. I also believe you will get good karma coming back your way. Second, I talk about appreciating when friends show you pockets of heaven on earth. Especially when you know they put time and effort into giving you an experience. You should honestly be sincerely grateful and show that to them. Last, I talk about no matter the environment you can adapt and be productive and continue to do the things that you care for. You should find a way and this honestly tells a lot about who you are and the person you've become. If it matters, you will be doing it no matter where in the world you are. This trip was an amazing experience for me. I got to see more perspective and was honestly blown away. I loved it so much I definitely want to go back and show others as well. The Big Sky was no lie and it's someone you have to see with you own eyes for sure. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

2. Be sincerely grateful for experiences given to you by friends

One hundred and twenty-fourth Episode released on 06/25/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! I feel like a broken record at times, because throughout the life of this pod, I've had periods of times where I struggle to maintain its consistency. Life happens and I got a lot of things pulling me in many different ways. I know at my core I'm meant to do this though. I always find my way back. It's been almost a month and while my focus has laid in other areas, I know I need to put some more focus here as it's part of my journey. I hope y'all stay cool this weekend out here in Portland. 100+ degrees! I'm heading to Missoula, Montana and will be driving while this drops to go help my friends move into their new home and visit. Thankfully it will be upper 80's there, so I'm grateful the weather worked out for me. On this episode I talk about leading people to the lake, but understanding you can't force them to drink. It's not your responsibility and only they can do it for themselves. Help lead, but don't push. Move on to those that do want to drink and you'll find those will be the people you associate with more. Second, I talk about losing focus as this was clearly evident for me over the past month and I had to take inventory of this. You know, the first part of this year reminds me a lot of a stock's chart. Breaking to the upside and going on a run, only to break off and fall down for a bit. I think it's important that you start to understand your slipping and you have honest conversations with yourself. I also think once you start communicating with those close to you about it, that's a good clue you're telling yourself to get back in rhythm so go do it. Last, I talk about how there are going to be bad things that people do to you in life. Don't let hate consume your heart. Let it go, take the high road, and let God, the universe, your higher power or whatever you believe in to handle those things. You don't want negative thoughts in your mind, you don't want to receive them. Scratch them out. It's also not on you to fix things. Also, just because you perceive it as "bad" doesn't necessarily make it bad. The bad things may have been validated by the other being. You don't walk in someone else's shoes. Let things go and focus on pleasantness within yourself and around you. You really can't do that with hate in your heart. ALRIGHT TIME TO GO PACK LOL. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. You can lead people to the lake, but you can't make them drink

2. Losing focus

3. There are going to be bad things people do to you, don't let hate consume your heart

One hundred and twenty-third Episode released on 05/31/2021. Happy Monday UG Fam! Hope you had a good Memorial Day. Today was busy and took some time to get myself mentally in the headspace to record so this is a late night drop. The weekend was amazing weather in Portland, and I definitely took advantage of it. On Sunday, I went to Mississippi Ave in Portland and had quite the experience. I was able to read in a park overlooking the city and then walk up and down the street seeing everything it had to offer. Would def recommend anyone to do the same. During my time there, I saw and felt only what I can explain as divine intervention types of signals and moments. Which is interesting cause I just helped my gma hang a quilt that reads "I believe there are Angels among us". Without getting into details for personal reasons, I took in these moments and signals and they stuck in my mind. I reviewed them after and I think you should be more open to seeing and feeling what's going on around you. Some strange things happen on this planet and they may pass you up if you're not ALERT. These moments or signals can and do matter. And if they are stuck in your brain, they are there for a reason. So review them. Second, I talk about important locations being used to conjure up our positive emotions that we need to get back on track if our emotional tank is out of whack. I use these places often and they work well because they are such huge emotional spots. The worst thing you can do for yourself is continue to move through life in a poor emotional state. It will stunt your growth. Last, I just remind y'all that everything you're going through has a purpose. It can be hard to see or understand! Remember, time and execution will get you to your goals. Just keep working and keep pushing. MORE will come down the line. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Be alert, see the signals. They are everywhere around you

2. Go back to the places that conjure up your emotional spirit

One hundred and twenty-second Episode released on 05/29/2021. Happy Saturday UG Fam! Happy Memorial Day weekend. I hope y'all are getting outside spending time with family and loved ones. The weather here in Portland is absolutely beautiful and I was not hyped to be inside recording this episode but it had to be done. It'd been like two weeks since I'd put out content for you guys. I had went on a trip with my friends for their birthdays outside of Redmond at Eagle Crest Resort so I'd been absent. However, that trip was a blast and I had such a good time with everyone there. I made a lot of memories and I won't ever forget that trip or the amazing people around me. It was truly special! On this episode I talk about that trip and how I decided to end my sobriety and have my first drink of alcohol in about 4 months. It's all good though, I've gotten to a point where I know I have that control that's needed to fallback on at any moment and I speak on it on this topic. Second, I talk about continuing to be grateful as so many doors open in your life at once. We want to walk through the doors and stay in the room and not get drug back out by distractions. I think a great way to do this is to be grateful and continue to be focused on the things that led to all these doors opening. Last, I talk about just being there for your friends during life milestones, accomplishments, or events. My friend Diego came up with a great idea to go visit our friend's Emmanuel and Sury who were having their baby at OHSU. Even though we couldn't go in and see them or our new nephew, we were able to make signs and hold them up and smoke some celebratory cigars. It meant a lot to our friends and they know that with the love and support we showed them through our actions. Keep supporting, keep creating peacefulness, and great things are going to come back your way. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. It's okay to allow yourself to have fun once you master control

2. As more doors open, stay grateful and stay focused

3. Keep supporting your friends and creating peacefulness

One hundred and twenty-first Episode released on 05/17/2021. Happy Monday UG Fam! If you weren't outside today, I'm going to have to call your momma on you. It was so spectacular out today and I really enjoyed the weather. I hope you were able to as well. This episode I could tell I was in a great mood sitting down to record based on my day, so that energy is there. First, I talk about shooting your shot. I was reminded as Steph Curry won the scoring title today and one of my boys saw a girl at event over the weekend he wanted to shoot his shot at that he couldn't take his eyes off. You just have to go for it and do it. We've talked about it before, but a good reminder as we head into another summer. Second, I talk about being a roamer. That's really what I did today and it's something I do often. It's how I've discovered some of the best food, best tea/coffee shops, parks, viewpoints, and other small businesses in the city. I recommend you try it out for yourself as well, more than a few times to discover the endless new things popping up all the time. Don't be afraid to do s*** alone, you can do this with friends or a SO but don't let being alone stop you. The relationship you develop WITHIN matters more than you would ever think. Last, I talk about being grateful for these events that we are starting to be able to go back to again. It really feels good to soak them all in after not being able to do many of them for so long. As we roll into summer 2021, be mindful of them and take some extra appreciation away from them. It's going to continue to pick back up with all this pent up demand so have fun, be safe, and stay grateful. Gratefulness is a key to life and I want you all to use it. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. A shot, is better than no shot

2. Be a roamer

3. Be grateful to attend events

One hundred-twentieth Episode released on 05/14/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! I know Jermaine Cole just dropped an album, but we just had to go ahead and drop this fire guest episode for y'all as well. Man, I can't express how thankful I am to attract great people into my life that allow me to continue to tell their stories. This one, is special and I think you guys are going to get a ton of value and perspective ONCE AGAIN. When I picked the title for this episode it was from reflecting on my time with Cedric and also just what he said in the episode. You can't be afraid to branch out and go to new places. Fresh was fitting because my favorite TV showing growing up was Fresh Prince. When Cedric came out to Portland we went out and wore Will and Carlton Fresh Prince jerseys and that night was as memorable as it gets. But more importantly, in the show, Will moves into a whole new life and if you watched the show, we all know how that worked out. Tons of growth. Cedric brings a lot to the table, but you're going to feel his infectious energy right away and he is a hilarious, loyal, and family man type of dude. Cedric is from the south, growing up in Fulton Mississippi. Cedric played college baseball at Ole Miss and got into the finance world working as an auditor but then transitioned to payroll at a successful company. Cedric bounced around in his twenties, making mistakes like most of us do. However, he learned important skills like networking and the ability to branch out and finally found his home and started his family in Nashville, Tennessee. Where he absolutely loves it. His journey is an incredible one and he gives some great advice throughout the episode. Man, always an honor and can't wait to link up with my guy again. One last note, you never know who you are going to meet. Relationships are huge, we said it on this episode, but can't stress that enough. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One hundred-nineteenth Episode released on 05/10/2021. Happy Monday UG Fam! I hope y'all showed out and showed some love and appreciation to those powerful women who had a hand in raising us and guiding us throughout our lives yesterday. Mother's Day was yesterday and I saw a lot of positive outpouring on social media which I thought was awesome. I was grateful to be able to take my gma out to lunch and also call and have a chat with my step-mom on the phone yesterday. Moving into the episode, I first speak on butting heads with these people who raise us. I think we all at some point have had tough times with those who've had a hand in raising us. I know I did and still do. But these tough times really are what shape us and turn us into who we are. Usually parents are striving to make us better because they want the best for us. So be thankful for the tough times because when you look back, they are what shaped you! Second, I talk about doing favors for friends. You should do these as much as you can, especially with those who are close to you. We talk about giving in order to receive. Do favors, unless they are ludicrous. Your friends rely on you and you should back that up with being a dependable friend. Last, I talk about how we can learn lessons from every single person we pour our time into in life. Some lessons will take longer than others to figure out. Some people will bring one, other's will bring multiple to you. Some are going to slap you in the face, hard and quick. Just continue to be a life long learner like we always talk about. School may be over for you, or maybe not, but life is full of lifelong lessons. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Don't forget all the times of butting heads

2. Favors for friends

3. Teach me a lesson

One hundred-eighteenth Episode released on 05/07/2021. Happy Friday UG Fam! Rolling into another weekend, I hope it turns into a good one for y'all. Another late night drop, been losing track of time lately, mind is running through so many things as of late. On this episode I talk about how we need to be thankful for the new things we gain access to. I just got my new Peloton bike which I'd been pondering about purchasing for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. Shoutout Starside. I have to say I am truly thankful for it because it's another tool to help me on my journey. This reminded me of all the other new things that have since turned old. I ask y'all to pick them up and show them some love and appreciation as well. We have a lot of things that we once were excited about. Things that can help us create and be more. Don't forget them and be grateful for the access. Second, I talk about EMOTION driving us. It really is that driving force that gets us in motion. I give an example from when I was writing the outline for this show and I remind y'all to take the bad emotions like pain and use it to drive you, not bury you. You gotta learn to flip it. Last, I talk about investing in experiences! Damn, today my routine was out of whack cause I spent hours finding AirBnb's for this upcoming life trip I'm taking in Summer 21'. But, we successfully booked 3 of them things, and I'm stoked to go live out some unrestricted life with people I love and care about surrounding me. So pick up your anchors y'all and set sail. What is life if you can't have stories to tell one day. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Make sure you are thankful for access to new things

2. Emotion drives us. Emotion, energy in motion.

One hundred-seventeenth Episode released on 05/03/2021. Happy Monday UG Fam! I hope y'all had an amazing weekend. The weather here in Portland was hit and miss but still was nice enough. I'm excited to announce a partnership with Cuts Clothing which has been a long time in the works coming (almost a year). Their brand aligns really well with the Ubiquitous Growth lifestyle I'm building. I wear their brand quite often and have been utilizing them in my Instagram quite a bit over the past year. It all started with one of my homies giving me a shirt and the rest is going to be history. So a small W for me, but it's really just an opportunity that I need to make the most of, so be on the lookout on my Instagram for content and work related to that. That realized opportunity is really the inspiration for this episode. I took some things away throughout the process so figured I'd share them on the pod. First, when you accomplish something, it's bigger than just you. Make sure you thank those around you who helped you attain that goal. A simple thank you or show of appreciation goes a long ways in building team chemistry. You should want to be a good person and teammate to all those important in your life. Second, when you win, celebrate shortly. I go into how Coach Kelly and Helfrich at Oregon had a 24 hour celebration rule. I think you should apply that as well to your personal life and personal wins. Last, everything is earned. Hard work won't fail you. Just make sure you earn it. You don't want to be handed things or you won't feel the true reward. I hope y'all got something to take away from this episode. I ran through it pretty fast cause I'm so hyped for this opportunity. Lastly, I want to thank again all those people who are a part of my personal journey. You all know who you are and I LOVE each and every single one of you! FOR REAL. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One hundred-sixteenth Episode released on 05/01/2021. Happy Saturday UG Fam! Yes, it's a Saturday and yes it's MAY! Damn just like that. I apologize for taking another absence from the pod. I had a few events going on and then not going to lie, I slacked off some. But hey, that's the ups and downs we always talk about. I am human, not a robot. Although with the way tech is advancing, okay I'll sip my tea. Anyways, this episode I talk about DREAMS. You know the things we all have. And how they are going to take time. I give the example of the NFL draft which was this week cause I can relate to those guys. They fulfilled a life long dream after years of preparation. So please remember it takes time in your own journey. AND GO BACK TO YOUR WHY. Second, I talk about the You in the mirror and how that's where we need to start the change if we feel tired of the person who's been looking back at us. No one but you is going to change. Last, I talk about declining an offer that isn't a good fit for you and how you should do so in humility and with respect. Don't sever the connection by being rude. And just because one thing may not work out, doesn't mean other things down the line won't. Keep that in mind. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One hundred-fifteenth Episode released on 04/19/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Hope you guys enjoyed the amazing weather over the weekend. I definitely got out and about and soaked in the sun. Was busy on Sunday so I didn't record yesterday. I think this was for a reason. This morning was nice again and I was on the stairmaster at the gym peering through the windows at my old apartment (which I can see from the gym). It got me thinking about where I am now vs where I was then. I was operating at a poor level during that point in my life. I am super grateful for the change that I've seen in myself since that time period. I wanted to share with you guys on this episode in order to help inspire again. So starting off, I talk about how location doesn't change you. You change you. You still make the choices once you are placed in a new environment. Next, I tell you still need to be grateful for tough time periods in your life. When you look back, you'll see that you were being tested. I also touch on self-control and discipline which again, are pillars of a great life. Last, I tell y'all that a lot can change within a couple years, a lot can change internally and externally for you. A couple years isn't that much time in the story of your life. Stay down, have your faith high, and HOLD your vision tightly. You can transform your life or situation if you put in the effort to change. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. Today's episode touches on the following topics: 1. Location doesn't change you, you change you 2. You still need to be grateful for tough time periods in your life 3. One hundred-fourteenth Episode released on 04/16/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Man, I definitely added a little pre-episode hype for this one on my Instagram, but I am really excited to share this story with y'all. I met Noe a few years back and it's a mentorship that I am forever grateful for. Noe's story is absolutely the kind of growth content I want to share on this platform. When I met Noe I didn't even realize everything he'd been through and he didn't know what I did for a living, we were just a couple of dudes chopping it up at the gym. He shared some information with me and while I was hesitant and skeptical at first, I eventually ran with it and I'm continuing to grow based off that. I think there is a ton of value in Noe's story, from growing up in a violent environment, getting into drugs and alcohol as a young teenager, to getting into hustling, which led him down a dark path and to prison, to changing his approach and mindset and coming out with the desire to get better. Noe successfully helps run his grandparents business and he has become a savvy cryptocurrency investor. Noe is also a dad now and is always sharing updates of his son with me, which I love to see. Noe speaks from the heart and there are a lot of lessons to be learned from someone who has walked his difficult path. I'm glad I attract great people with grand stories to tell and I'm able to share them with you guys here. I really hope y'all enjoy this one! And this one I'm going to try something new and post the video of it to YouTube, so stay on the lookout for that as well. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One hundred-thirteenth Episode released on 04/12/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! I'm currently typing this like a zombie, but we are here! Today was a sunny nice day in Portland and I'm looking forward to the next weekend which is supposed to be even better. Welcome to another week. I hope y'all have a great week and get a lot accomplished. Sometimes, we won't get everything done, but as long as we're getting SOME of it done. That's progress. Moving into the topics, first, I talk about sometimes how we need to get things reviewed or get a second set of eyes to help us review and make sure we got things right. It doesn't hurt. It will save us in the end. Second, I talk about surrender your time sometimes. You have to do this, to keep healthy relationships, but don't do it because you have to. Do it because you want to. and it's okay to tell people you have more important things to do. If sometimes you do. Last, I talk about how sometimes you have to not question so much the season you currently are in. We tend to focus on why we are in a particular season or phase so much instead of focusing on the growth that will lead us out of there. Focus on the good, the joy, the bliss, the happiness. And you'll be in a completely different situation before you know it. THIS FRIDAY, very excited to bring y'all an incredible story of an important person I met a few years ago, from hustling, to prison, shifting their mindset, to helping others, giving back, running a business, and becoming a parent. This is going to be a good one, stay tuned. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Sometimes a second opinion or review is needed

2. Sometimes you have to surrender your time to people

3. Sometimes you have to not question why you are in a particular season of your life

One hundred-twelve Episode released on 04/09/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Hope y'all had another good week. I was honored to be on the other side of the mic for a change and be interviewed on DkirksandDoty podcast. I will put the link below. Check that out if you've never heard my story or want I guess the latest version. Moving towards todays episode, the first topic I touch on is yes, a lot of things are far out. And that can suck, but they aren't as really far out as you think. I think somedays we feel this more heavily than others. Comes back to our old friend patience. Keep from losing your mind and just practice patience. Second, I talk about waking up with a pep in your step with a great morning routine. Lately, I've been really holding myself to this and it's making a big difference in the overall output for my life. I give some tips but just know everyones situation is different. Implement what you can, find what works for you, and be consistent. WIN THE DAY, from the jump. Scoo Ducks. Last, I talk about how we tend to tell everyone our dreams and ambitions, but are we actually taking that action. You know, only you. Stay accountable. Get after it. Your people are going to want you to succeed. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One hundred-eleventh Episode released on 04/05/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Hope y'all had a fantastic Easter weekend with family and loved ones. I was grateful to get out and watch the Final Four over the weekend with friends. Saw an incredible finish to the Gonzaga vs. UCLA game. I literally called a buzzer beater a few minutes before the game ended stating this was going to be a game we would talk about for years. I was at the Fields in Portland and the whole place went crazy and that supreme energy was great to feel. Anyways, moving into this pod. First topic, I talk to y'all about not letting fake love trick you. I tell y'all to give, but be careful who and where you give. If it's a dead zone, you won't get much if anything back. Time to put that good hearted energy elsewhere. There is much more opportunity out in the world, don't forget that. Second, I talk to you about your relationship with taxes as it is tax season. Yes, we got another month, but I'm currently doing my taxes so it seemed fitting. I'm also expanding my mind to taxes and the tax code and trying to figure out how I can take advantage of it better in order to save more money and TIME in the long run. I'm still in my learning process and I know some of y'all are probably already doing this at a high level, which is great. But for a lot of people, they have a poor relationship with taxes and view it as a bad thing, where the government takes their hard earned dollars. I'm currently reading a book that one of the main points in taking advantage of the tax code that is written to SAVE YOU MONEY is to change your facts. Book is listed below. I suggest you open your mind and seek out information like I am if you're not already there. Last, I talk again about resurrecting or bouncing back from the bottom. I tell y'all to use the two most important things in order to vibrate at a very high level, which is SPIRIT AND WILL. Using those, you'll bounce back like a bouncy ball, super high with a lot of power. You can do it, we all can. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Don't let fake love trick you

2. Change your relationship with taxes

3. Bounce back like a bouncy ball

One hundred-tenth Episode released on 04/02/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Late night drop for y'all. This week was a productive but busy week for me and I really was running off fumes last night so I had to call it an early night. Anyways, just recorded this on a Friday night but I'm telling you I came with some intention and passion on this episode. I really hope you get a chance to listen to this episode and hear me out. First, I was blessed with another opportunity to tell my story on another awesome platform. So be on the lookout for that next week, which I'll repost on my Instagram. And that was really what my first topic hits on. Tell your story! If you get the chance, you should. Especially if others can learn from it or be impacted. It's okay if your story isn't finished cause we are all still writing ours and have more chapters to go. Second, I talk about y'all choosing to limit certain things in your life. It's okay to cut back, slow down, or completely remove things. We can try that out in our lives if it's helping us in the personal growth department. You need to do it for YOU though, that's the biggest lesson. I'm telling you, your life can still be very enjoyable even while limiting. Last, I talk about hunger and pain. That's really what's been driving me my entire life and still driving me this year. I've experience my fair share and I know y'all out there have too. We all do. I tell you to push back and KEEP PUSHING. Don't let life push you around, push back. You'll be so glad you did when you look back and be way more appreciative of the journey. But remember, your journey is far from over. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. When you get the chance, tell your story

2. You can still enjoy life without doing everything that everyone else is doing

3. Hunger and pain and why you need to embrace them

One hundred-ninth Episode released on 03/29/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Man, the weather was great for parts of the weekend here in Portland. I definitely got out and took advantage of it, and it was nice to see so many people out (even if we're all still in masks). It felt pretty normal for a change just seeing the crowds of people laughing, eating, drinking, having a good time etc. On todays episode I first touch on if y'all are selling your soul. I feel like a lot of people in life may be doing things they don't necessary like or believe in because it's all they know or it's what they are used to doing. My question is though, are you living your true purpose. If not and you're doing the same thing over in over in a cycle. Please find a way to start small changes to align you more in your purpose which will ultimately pull you out of your soul crusher. Second, I talk about having the approach of being worthy to receive whatever it is you want. You have to deem yourself worthy in order to receive in this world. This is something you should be telling yourself often that you are indeed worthy enough. Last, I talk about R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Something we all should desire. People are going to respect you for what you DO and SHOW them not just say or tell them. This is an important lesson in life and I hope you use it to your advantage. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Are you selling your soul?

2. Know you are worthy

3. People are going to respect what you do and show

One hundred-eighth Episode released on 03/26/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Man I was off my normal flow today. Today felt extremely choppy and that's why I decided to title this episode this and speak on it within the episode. The prelude though, shoutout Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood for their time as Blazers in Portland. As a sports guy, it's sad to see them go, but it was fitting with the way the day went. Okay, first up, I talk about opening your eyes to everything around you. I know we've hit on this before, but I want y'all present and to see it all. I was fortunate tonight to see an amazing display in the sky driving home. I thought it was aliens or a meteor or something but turned out to be debris from a Space X launch. Still very cool to see with my own eyes. Wouldn't of saw it if I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. Okay, this one would be hard to miss, but the little ones, they are out there as well, you just have to look. Second, Choppiness. Yes, it sucks, the endless feeling of going up and down, sideways, and every way in between. It's how life goes at times. It happens in all sorts of areas and we feel it's affects. A lot of times it's all physiological and we do it to ourselves. Realize that you can get to the "gains" you want on the other side. That's why I tell you guys to keep pushing so much. S***, when I'm telling y'all I'm also telling myself. Don't sink, keep sailing. Lastly, I talk about the huge benefit of having someone else having belief in you and them expressing it to you. That's huge. Play off that momentum. Yes, I think believing in yourself is more important. But having a solid person give you that is a gift and you need to use its force. Go out and execute off that as a thank you and show that person exactly why they believed in you! Then go do the same with others, give them confidence so they can pursue grand endeavors as well. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Open your eyes to everything around you

2. Choppiness

3. Other people believing in you

One-hundred-seventh Episode released on 03/22/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Man, what a day. I felt like I traveled far and wide. I had a good day though, saw some signs throughout as you'll see in this episode. Hope this was another fantastic weekend for y'all. On today's episode, I touch on getting warmed up. Obviously, if y'all follow me, you see I'm in the gym sometimes twice a day. So warming up is essential. But, this is more general. I think we can warm up/study/prepare for many things in life. It's very vital that preparation becomes a pillar of your life. Take it from all the greats if not me. Second, I was fortunate to be around a group of beautiful smiling humans this weekend, but it got me thinking about all that time alone we have as well. We've got to utilize that alone time to build a solid healthy relationship with ourselves so we can experience that joy we feel around others by ourselves as well. Please value yourself. Last, I talk about seeing "signs" out and about in the world. I've been seeing several lately. When you see these signs, I call it an act on or slack off type of moment in your life. You can either act on it and take a risk or slack off and ignore it. I know what I'm choosing, what are you? Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Are you warming up?

2. Literally, care about yourself

3. Do you see signs out in the world?

One-hundred-sixth Episode released on 03/19/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Happy belated St. Patty's Day. Man, lately, life has been giving my opportunities to serve. I'm very grateful to be in a position where I can help others and spread positivity, information, and hope. I obviously want to expand my ability to do this on a greater level but I really feel like I'm starting to walk my path of mentorship, which is one of my main goals. That's what I touch on in this episode to start off. If you've got useful information, you can share it with those who need it. This can help you start mentorship. You can't ever be one if you don't help real people, in real life. Second, I had a close friend go through some tough ASS SHIT, that would take anyone to a dark place. BUT, I want to remind everyone, that no matter how bad it gets, Life goes on and it's linear. The downs are just part of that overall line, but I promise you Life goes on. The biggest support system you have is yourself and the thoughts you put in your own mind. AND YOU GOT CONTROL OF WHAT YOU PUT THERE. Last, take some damn notes, on this episode, and everything else in life you are learning and then REVIEW THEM lol. I swear it will make a world of difference if you actually review your notes in whatever it is you are taking notes on. I've discovered the power of this and I just want y'all to have that same advantage. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. If you got useful information, share it to those who need it

2. Life goes on and choose your lane of thoughts

3. Are you taking notes? AND reviewing them?

One-hundred-fifth Episode released on 03/15/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Today, Sunday, I had the honor of recording another guest episode with a special guest. What's crazy about this one, is I've never even met this dude in real life, yet the connection is genuine. I met Jon playing video games in college (Destiny on PS4 to be exact for my nerds out there) but we've continued to stay connected through social media. On this episode there is a ton of value packed inside Jon's journey, from a difficult upbringing being raised by a single mom, working hard trying to be the man of the house, to attending his dream school at The University of Alabama, to being in a fraternity on one of the nations most insane frat/sorority campuses, the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur, and ultimately having personal success in his career. This was a fun conversation and Jon really is an example of constantly growing. I was happy to have him on the show, I hope you guys listen to the wise words he puts out there for y'all. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One-hundred-fourth Episode released on 03/13/2021. Happy Saturday UG fam! I had no time yesterday to get the pod out by Friday. I was too INVESTED in some other learning and had to put the show on the back burner. Trust me, it was just something I couldn't pass up. But, I still came with that fire on this episode. I had a great day today overall (Friday, recording day), and just was really fired up leaving my second gym session. On today's episode I tell you guys, that you've got to have a strategy for whatever it is you are trying to do and you need to stick to it. Second, I tell you guys when you have your VISION laid out in your head, you don't have to share it with others unless you want to. You don't need to feel obligated to do so. It's your vision, protect it! Lastly, I tell you guys you are the master of your own fate. We can map out a plan, stick to it, have unwavering faith, and operate in this energy flow that will reward us beyond our wildest dreams. Give it time, and you will reap the seeds you sow. You've got this. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. One-hundred-third Episode released on 03/08/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Had a short weekend, but a solid Sunday. The NBA All Star game was today and it was cool to see it even though I thought they should of waited till the end of the season to do it. Had a very productive day and also some great time with friends. I hope y'all are entering this week optimistic, spring is coming, and things are on the up and up. Today's episode I touch on providing value. I think being able to do this in some capacity in my value has done a lot for me. I want to continue working on that and help more people than I do currently. Second, I talk about having class, as this is important and people will notice it easily. I give an example from the All Star Game. Lastly, I talk about giving, which has already been talked about on the pod, but I'm reading a book by Tony Robbins that lays it out great. I think giving is so important for us as humans and it's even important to give when we don't have. That selfless act will come back around and reward us down the line. How does giving make you feel? Think about that and let it sit on you. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One-hundred-second Episode released on 03/05/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Man, another long week for me, I hope you guys had a good week out there. There was definitely a whole lot of ups and downs this week, ya feel me. This was another choice I had to make to sacrifice sleep to stay up and record this one for y'all. My schedule has been a little hectic as of late but we're here. First, on this episode, I talk about Zaya Wade as I saw some content with Michelle Obama interviewing her on Instagram. We should always pursue our true self even if that is difficult. I liked the way Ms. Obama laid it out and I echoed those lessons. I used to be more immature when I was younger and I was uncomfortable around the LGBTQ community because I didn't understand it. Now that I'm older, I do, and I definitely want to be a voice and supporting member. Check out Zaya Wade's story if you haven't, she is the trans-daughter of former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade. Second, do you feel that, you being busy, 24/7 all the time. Busy, busy, busy. Sometimes we're busy avoiding the things we actually need to do. Business is a plague on all of us. Take a step back for a brief window of time and do NOTHING. NOTHING at all. Just stop being so damn busy. We want fulfillment not a burned out state. Last, I talk about playing the long term again. There are several reason's why my brain is telling myself again, but I think it's just a good overall theme and lesson for any thing you're looking to attain in life. Patience, and play the long game/long term. You'll win in the end or have a higher likelihood and that will be a better end result for you. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Pursue your true self

2. Busy, nothing

3. Long term

One-hundred-first Episode released on 03/01/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! Hope you all had another fantastic weekend. The weather turned out beautiful on (Sunday) in Portland and I definitely got out in the sun a little bit. When this goes live on Monday, it will be a whole new month. Welcome to March, officially the month that COVID last year started in. That's wild to think about. On this episode, I talk about burying yourself, which is what I've done lately. I've locked in and focused on what I'm really going after. While, it's not perfect, and I still get distracted and sidetracked, for the most part, I think burying yourself is critical for growth. If you don't have solid roots, you're gonna get pulled. One day you will reap the fruits of your labor. Second, I talk about the 40 percent rule by retired Navy Seal David Groggins. You've got 60% left in the tank when your mind tells you you're done. KEEP PUSHING. Test that will. Lastly, I talk about defining yourself. You should clearly define who you are, and if you're living your life outside of that, redefine yourself. It's okay to go back to the drawing board. You're doing it for you, and no one else. Obviously you need to keep those close to you in mind if it's going to affect them, but truly defining yourself allows you to be authentically your true self. That's where the fun begins. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

One-HUNDRETH Episode released on 02/26/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! 100 baby, WE DID IT. Hit them triple digits. Honestly, if you would of ever told me I'd have a podcast in triple digits, I would of laughed at you and said there's no way. But here we are, and with that, I'm super excited to bring on another guest and dive into their story. My friend Marco Zamora has a good story that I think a lot of people can learn from. I truly think the people that go through tough circumstances have an edge when it comes to grit. Marco talks about his battles with being bullied as a kid and using that to motivate him to become an absolute beast in the gym, so other's wouldn't ever mess with him again. I hope you guys take something away from our conversation and learn something. Once, again thank y'all for rocking with me all the way to 100 episodes. Ninety-ninth Episode released on 02/22/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! 99 problems but my voice ain't one. Welcome to another episode and welcome to my 99th. My first topic is exactly what you just read. I am more comfortable than I was when I started this thing and while I've got plenty of issues and problems I'm personally working through, I feel like my voice, at least behind this mic, is not one of them. I'm very grateful for that growth and I hope to expand on it in other areas. Second, problems are everywhere for us all at all times. I just go through some general things to help you manage any of your problems. Lists are your friend and taking them on one at a time, usually the toughest first. Last, with all the problems in the world, sometimes the biggest one is actually inside of US. And we're afraid to be honest with ourselves and admit it. I know we've touched on this before on the pod but I thought it was important to do so on an episode about problems. For those that are battling through something internally, you should know exactly what I'm talking about. I hope you change for the better. Set yourself free. Looking forward to #100! Got something planned so stay tuned. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Ninety-eighth Episode released on 02/19/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Hope you guys are going into a better weekend this week if you live in the Portland-Metro area. Most places have power back but not all so hopefully y'all are staying warm. I gave a shoutout on this pod to my friend, former coach, and mentor, Daniel Kirkham, for starting his podcast. It's called Dkirks and Doty and can be found on Apple Podcasts. Link will be below. I didn't do a great job of explaining it on my intro, but essentially it is another personal growth pod with a sprinkle in with the game of golf. Please check it out and leave a rating. This episode, I touch on paying attention to what you consume as far as content wise. You'll notice that you will start to care more about the things you constantly consume. Second, I touch on being drained and some simple yet effective tips to counteract that. I also go into a little bit about the proposed 4 day 32 hour work week, which I think has it's upsides. Last, I talk about at least paying attention to important news that affects our lives and our families/future families. Don't have that stance that all news is bad, because some really does move markets and change lives. Find a credible source that works for you. Pay attention to a degree. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Ninety-seventh Episode released on 02/15/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! This weekend where I live we got hit with a bad winter snow and ice storm and it left us without power for 3-4 days. That's why this episode was delivered Monday night instead of the morning. An estimated 200K+ people lost power. It was definitely another challenging time in what's already been a rough start to this decade. At work it was crazy and at home. I am thankful to see the power of people coming together though to get through the tough times. Also quick shoutout to all my friends that helped getting and setting up a generator. This episode talks about what to do when we lose the power inside of us. Second, I talk about giving people their flowers while they are still around. I know Sunday was Valentine's Day so I hope y'all were able to give those "flowers" to people you care about. Last, I just remind you guys of patience and persistence. It's been a rough time for those that live in this area, but literally with anything in life, TIME is on our side. It's going to help if you give anything time. Things will recorrect. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Ninety-six Episode released on 02/12/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Today during the recording of this episode, it would have been my dad's 54th birthday. This episode is entirely inspired off of that. Obviously my emotions during this timeframe were heavily involved with that so I figured doing an episode from that was appropriate. I'm not going to lie y'all, I've been working like crazy and missing out on sleep so I wasn't going to do this episode but I just couldn't let my pops down like that. So here we are. First topic, I talk about how we can win no matter what deck we are dealt. We have to see a way to win and we have to believe. There are numerous examples throughout history of humans winning off shitty hands. GO BE ANOTHER ONE. Second, I talk about finding your footing when your stepping into a new world after a traumatic event in your life. So much will change and so fast. It can be hard to acclimate to your new world. But you will and when you do, you will start to feel refreshed. Last, I just talk to you guys about my WHY. Why I am here in my opinion. Why I do this podcast, why I push myself to my limits, why I give to others, why I am the way I am. It's my gift and my mission. I'm just a messenger at the end of it though, to help you guys get there as well. We should all be uplifting each other in this world because it's hard out there. Like extremely hard, but as I always say. KEEP PUSHING. Share this episode with a friend who needs to hear it! Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

2. Traumatic events bring on new worlds

3. Here to uplift, now and forever. You can too

Ninety-fifth Episode released on 02/08/2021. Happy Monday UG fam! I have been more than absent from the podcast over the past 2 weeks. I completely disconnected for a bit. I had to take a mental break from things. I thought I was solid, found out I wasn't, but was able to make a recovery due to our friend, time. That's essentially what this entire episode is about. Once again, I'm not really going into details because that is my own private life which I typically don't share a whole lot of on the pod. I try to keep it as general as possible. But I think there were some gems dropped in the episode. I talk about how healing is a process, not a quick thing, even if we think it's going to be. I also touch on excuses, and how limiting those is essential. Last, I tell you guys, it's okay to take a break. I did, 2 weeks from this. And it bothered me because of how I always preach consistency. But I realized taking care of myself comes first. I was physically and spiritually exhausted and the time away helped me focus on my thoughts. It led me back here writing this to y'all. I really don't know who reads the descriptions to my episodes, but if you have, you know there is some gold in these. Hope you find it. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

  1. Healing is a process

  2. Limit your excuses

  3. It's OKAY to take a break, even when you don't ever want to

Ninety-fourth Episode released on 01/22/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! Had a crazy week, that's for sure. Honestly started off the week on a high, hit rock bottom, and bounced back up. This entire episode is geared towards that entire process. I did have a good trip to San Diego though and enjoyed the 80-90 degree January weather. Joshua Tree National Park was amazing as well, if you ever get the chance check it out. My first topic today just talks about how we can't change what's already happened to us in life. We just move forward and keep fighting as best we can, when we can. When I took this trip to see my homie Ruben, I saw he's still fighting to get what he wants and I'm proud of that. Second, I talk about how I'm appreciative of all the hardships I have encountered in my life. They really have made me stronger and I continue to face them. I realize they will always come as that's just part of life. Last, I tell you guys to not let others dictate your happiness. That is a quick plan to misery and heartache. Take a gauge on where you pull your happiness from, you should have that pretty well thought out. Disclaimer, I am all good, I talked to people in my corner, I know where I stand and I'll be solid. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. You can't change the past but you control how you navigate the present

2. Being appreciative of all the hardships in life

3. Don't let others dictate your happiness

Ninety-third Episode released on 01/15/2021. What's good UG FAM Happy Friday! I didn't release an episode on Monday because I wanted to watch the College Football Playoff National Championship game. While the game itself was a blowout and not great, I still had a good time watching it with people for sure. It also made for a good segway in order to bring on my next guest on the show, one of my lifelong brothers I've made due to college football. On this guest episode, I talk with my great friend and former Oregon walk on teammate Jason Sloan Jr. I'm very thankful for Jason's friendship and for being able to meet this guy during my time at Oregon. We were both walk-ons from the state of Oregon and connected extremely well. This guest episode is packed with a ton of value and it's definitely one you don't wanna miss. It is an HOUR LONG, but I'm telling you guys there are a lot of gems in here and Jason is one interesting person. Jason has always been very goal oriented and up to a lot of things. I want y'all to hear his story and make it to the end on what he currently does in his career field, really next level type stuff and is shaping the future. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Ninety-second Episode released on 01/08/2021. Happy Friday UG fam! What a week it's been. 2021 is just warming up and I guess 2020 has been showing it the ropes. Obviously if you guys were watching any media on Wednesday, we had a day that will definitely go down in the history books for the United States. In this episode, I do touch briefly on that subject, but hopefully in a way that isn't too political. I talk about how we should fight with HONOR and the right SPIRIT in anything we are fighting for as humans. Second, I talk about thinking about more than just ourselves sometimes when making decisions. As difficult as that can be, it can really be a good concept to apply in our life. Last, in 2021 lets go out and continue to find those new hobbies and things to do. Don't let a tough time in human history stop you from trying out new and exciting things. There is still so much to do in this world. GO FIND IT. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Fight with HONOR and in the right SPIRIT

2. Sometimes you have to think of more than just yourself

3. In 2021 lets find some new hobbies to pick up

Ninety-first Episode released on 01/04/2021. Let's go UG fam, a few days into 2021 and I'm sure we are all still riding the high of being in a new year filled with endless possibilities. I know we are all a lot more optimistic for what this year will bring as compared to last year. As much as the new year is about new things, sometimes it's about removing the things that aren't helping us on our path. In the first topic, I touch on what are we willing to give up in order to more directly align with our missions and main goals. Sometimes we don't even know we should be giving something up, so we have to discover that first. Second, I watched the Fiesta Bowl with Oregon vs Iowa State and it reminded me that young things take time to develop. Right now, all our new goals and plans are fairly young if they just started in this new year, so don't trip if they get off to shaky starts. Continue to build them solid foundations and over time things will hopefully get better. Last, I ask what your worth is? What do you tell yourself your worth is? I think this is important as far as confidence building and when we go out in the world. If we believe we are intelligent attractive human beings that get what we want out of life, then we are going to get those things and feel those ways. It's all about what you do upstairs in your mind. I've continued to learn this over the past few years. Don't become arrogant, but have FAITH in who you are this year! Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. What are you willing to give up?

2. Young things, take time to develop

3. What are you worth?

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Ninetieth Episode released on 01/02/2021. Happy New Year! Welcome to SZN 3. I hope you guys are feeling good about exiting 2020 and moving on to a new year. This year is going to have its own growing pains I'm sure, but I think we are going to enjoy it better than the last overall. At least that's what I'm hoping for. I hope y'all have set your goals for 2021 and are going to do the most to achieve them. Don't count yourself out, you can do it, whatever it is you want to achieve, grand or small. It all starts with a vision and your mindset. In this episode, I touch on 3 topics that I think will help you guys throughout your journey in 2021 to accomplish whatever goals you have set. First, I talk about not letting others steal or waste your time and how it still is our most precious asset. Let's utilize our time the right ways throughout the year. Second, I talk about everything not being set in stone. Just because it feels like it at times or things move slowly doesn't meant the magic isn't happening or that change isn't coming. Be patient, keep working, keep grinding, keep believing, hold the faith. IT WILL COME. Lastly, I talk about how nothing is just given, and everything is earned. We have to continue sharpening our swords and then use our skills to earn what we desire. As we enter this new chapter, focus on how bad you want the things you have in your mind. Tell yourself your reason WHY. Then put together a solid plan and take action. Keep that desire burning. Also, please take the time to write out your goals if you haven't done so already. Mine are written out on my iPhone. It doesn't matter where you have them, just that you have them and you review them often. Keep them with you. Hold yourself accountable. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Don't let others waste your time

2. Not everything is set in stone

3. Nothing is given, everything is earned

Eighty-ninth Episode released on 12/26/2020. Happy Holidays UG fam! I worked on Christmas so I ended up recording and releasing this episode the day after. I hope you guys all had an amazing Christmas with your family and loved ones. This episode is a quick one and I think the audio turned out a little quiet just FYI. I sort of ramble on some of it haha but I went ahead and just went with it. I think there was some solid presents for you guys throughout the episode. First, I guy I've really been following his life and story, gave me the inspiration for the first topic. Never give up. David Sabastian posted some quality inspiration on his IG story (as he usually does). His message was simple. NEVER GIVE UP. So I'm just echoing that to you guys. Please don't give up. If you want something, just continue no matter the struggles. Second, I talk about finding solid connections in life. We all want that. If we get them, just appreciate their added value to your life. Not all connections are going to be permanent so just keep that in the back of your mind. Last, FAMILY. Enjoy your time with them. It's a good time during the holidays to rejuvenate with close family and take that positive energy into the next year. You get together and basically talk about the entire year and what everyone's been up to. If you don't have interesting things to say about your year and yourself, make it a goal next year to really be the most interesting person at the family Christmas get together. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Eighty-eighth Episode released on 12/21/2020. Happy Monday. The light was beaming this morning, felt good, but it went away real quick. This episode I touch on learning to not beat yourself up. We all got so much to do in our busy lives and we can't always do life to the maximum. That's okay, don't be too hard on yourself. I just keep chipping away, but I do know I've got so much more chipping away to do. Second, I helped a close friend move over the weekend and I just think we should all lend a helping hand because you never know when you're going to need the favor in return. Plus, you may just good copious amounts of pizza and beer if they are a good friend. Congrats to my guy on closing on his first home. Last, I decided this year, I'm not going to go out and spend much money on gifts. There's plenty of reasons for this and I'm going to keep my why's personal. But the point was, just because most people buy gifts doesn't mean you are obligated too. I don't want to be a grinch of Christmas, but this was a hard year for everybody. I think spending time with important people will be a better gift anyways. But if you want to gift, GIFT AWAY I got no issues and actually love gifting things. Just a thing I'm doing this year. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Learning to not beat yourself up

2. Always lend helping hands

3. We all have the power to make our own choices and traditions

Eighty-seventh Episode released on 12/18/2020. Happy Friday UG fam! A week before Christmas 2020. Wow this year has really been crazy. Me recording this episode at 12:38am is so 2020 and fitting for the title of this pod episode. On this episode, I talk about how we should always be learners and never too big or have too much pride to invest in learning more. There are super elite successful people who still take action on learning. It's a lifelong thing. Second, I talk about a new life hacking habit I've been developing called the Maui effect. Please try it out. I also touch on how crazy I am for talking to myself in the mirror. Try that out to if you dare. Lastly, I just talk about how the Christmas spirit meter has been low this year, but I want to remind you guys of why Christmas is so magical and why us adults should continue that. It's for the kids and how they light up with the magic of Christmas. Don't forget that, because that was once probably you depending on your circumstances. And if that wasn't you, then you best believe you want to be able to do that for your kids if you have them. Even if you don't have kids, you probably will one day, so start developing that ability now. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. You are never too good to stop learning

Eighty-sixth Episode released on 12/14/2020. Happy Monday UG fam! Hope another terrific weekend happened for y'all and I want y'all to have another good week. Let's not forget to start reflecting on our 2020. What happened, what was good, what was bad? On this episode, I revisit a couple themes or topics already mentioned on the pod before. But they are always important. First, I talk about productivity and sort of a formula I use to try to enhance my own productivity. What works for me may not work for others, but I think it's a pretty solid method. I didn't create it, but I found it and I used it throughout 2020. Second, I hit on a book I am currently reading called Tiny Habits. We revisit, baby steps which I've said before. I suggest you check this book out, I will leave the link to it below, but it has an amazing equation for creating new behaviors. Last, I tell you guys to not take NO for an answer. Obviously certain situations will warrant this, use your brain, but for the msot part let's be stubborn and keep finding ways to turn NO's into Yes's. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Productivity, Plan-Do-Review

Eighty-fifth Episode released on 12/11/2020. Happy Friday y'all. Another weekend is here. We are wrapping up 2020, haha get it. Man I haven't felt any holiday spirit this year, I don't know about y'all but it's just been so different with everything happening in the world. This episode, I was really thinking about all the great people I look to in life, some I know personally, some I don't, yet they all inspire me and I take bits and pieces from them. In the first topic I talk about how we need to create our own authentic waves though, because we just can't be identical to someone else. Second, I remind you guys to shake things up from time to time. In order to find solutions, sometimes we have to do things differently than we normally would. Lastly, I just want you guys to start reflecting on your 2020. I think the reason why I want y'all to start now, is because this year was literally JAM PACKED full of things that happened. More than your typical year, so there is going to be a lot to unload and process. I want y'all to also start thinking towards the near and distant future to though. At least that's what I am doing. Cheers. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

Eighty-fourth Episode released on 12/07/2020. Happy Monday y'all. Hope y'all had another good weekend. Today's episode was posted a little late cause I was working on other content and I wasn't around my laptop until later in the day. Still nonetheless here we are and I had a personal friend reach out for me to discuss topic #1 on this one. I touch on understanding and dealing with hate, which I think a lot of us go through, whether we admit it or not. We always feel like we got people watching us and possibly hating on what we are up to. Second, I go into posting on social media what we want to and take those second guessing moments of not posting and be able to reanalyze them and see if we should really be posting that content. Cause we WANT TO. Don't post just because but if you have any valid reasons that make sense in your head. Go for it. and ignore what people think, listen to yourself. Lastly, I started off Sunday (when I recorded) in a bad mood, and we're all going to have shitty days. Can we flip them to positive ones easily? I don't know if we ALWAYS CAN but we sure can try. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Understanding and dealing with hate

2. Pondering if you should post certain content on social media

3. Bad mood central, can we flip it?

Eighty-third Episode released on 12/04/2020. Happy Friday y'all. We're back, after a long absence. It really felt like forever since I had created a new episode. I was a bit sporadic on this episode so I apologize in advance. I hope you guys all had a great modified Thanksgiving. I was feeling a tad lazy after eating so much PIE lol. Welcome to December and supposedly the best time of year, although I know with everything this year it's a bleak outlook on the end of the year. This episode I talk about how saying less can sometimes be in our favor. We don't always need to be the center of attention or the loudest in the room. In fact, some people who are great leaders, are not even loud speakers. Leading doesn't always mean what most think. Second, I talk about looking out for others in certain situations in general. Even if people are stubborn, if we have the wisdom, we should pass it on and try to help them make the right decision. Last, here is where I went a little haywire, I just talk about the grind, the balance of work and side hustles and how it's all a process, but usually work and side hustles go hand in hand because we are living out our lives doing both. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Saying less can sometimes be more

2. Look out for others, talk people into the right decisions

3. What are you working towards? Work and side hustles go hand in hand

Eighty-second Episode released on 11/23/2020. Happy Monday y'all. We're back, hope the weekend treated you all well. I went to my neighbors b day get together and had a good time. Sunday became a lazy day off for sure due to that. However, I did manage to help a friend dig a very large pole out of the ground so I did get some work in today lol. This episode I talk about seeing stuff all around and maybe us starting to question it's use and application at this point in our lives. I just offer maybe creating a brief list to remove some of these un-needed items. I have plenty of things, that I no longer use or have a use for, so I think I'm going to sell/give away some things. Lighter load usually means you can be faster/more efficient. Second, I talk about ridding bad habits and how that going to end up being soley on us. Others may push us because they want to see us do better but in the end it falls on YOU. Last, get out of the house still regardless of this pandemic weighing on us. Yes, be safe, practice the right things, but you can still go for walks or drives just to move your body and not slump on the couch an entire day. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Remove stuff you no longer use or have a use for

2. Bad habits won't be broken by anyone but YOU

3. Try to continue to get out of the house safely regardless of the pandemic

Eighty-first Episode released on 11/20/2020. Happy Friday y'all. What's going on Ubiquitous Growth fam, hope y'all are doing well despite the bleak look on life with this pandemic. Where I live, we are on "freeze" or two week shutdown, trying to keep our spirits low, but we are all going to get through this. Stay positive and optimistic and fill the time with productivity. On this episode, I remind us to not only thank those who's been supporting us on our success journey during the big moments, but even the small minute or never thought of moments as well. These people are motivators and huge reasons why we make it so far in the first place. Thank them continuously along the way, it will boost your own spirits. Second, I just talk about the big question: What is the meaning of life? There are many answers to this. Find yours but don't make it complicated. Last, I give a story about my gma and it ties to us allowing others to label weaknesses on us. Never good. Let's not let others label what we are weak at. We need to be doing that. I hope y'all got something out of this one, it was a fun one to sit down and do, even though I'm still having issues uploading with my external hardrive (eye roll* time to get a new one Mike) Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Thank our people on our success journey in all moments, not just the big ones

2. What is the meaning of life? Create your own answer but don't complicate it

Eightieth Episode released on 11/16/2020. Happy Monday y'all. This episode I made history on the show, bringing on our very first female guest. She is part of my friend circle and is married to one of my best friends. I was a witness to their marriage earlier this summer in Las Vegas and it was truly a privilege to watch and be there for that. She has been around for several years and really is the mom of our group. We call her Jessie, but her name is Yesenia Marquardt. Jessie became a mom at the age of 21 and it really changed her entire perspective and purpose. Jessie is notorious for roasting me and always being a jokester. I appreciate her being in all our lives and she's killing it as far as being a mom. I think you guys can get a lot of value from this guest sit down as Jessie really just speaks honestly into the mic. There was some technical stuff going on with the two microphone recording so Jessie's voice is quieter than mine. I apologize for that! We also recorded a video of this sit down so that may be going up on YouTube at some point. Although, the audio on that as well didn't turn out as crisp as I would like, so we'll see. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Seventy-ninth Episode released on 11/13/2020. Happy Friday and soon to be weekend y'all. I hope you guys are enjoying the prep for Thanksgiving, even though this year is about to be entirely different. Today's episode I speak on falling back to the level of our training and NOT rising to the occasion. I often think this is misconstrued and a lot of people get this wrong. I give all the credit to my college coach, Coach Neal for this one. All the hours in the dark are going to come to light. I feel like I may have spoke on this lesson before, but I'm okay repeating things that carry heavy weight. Next I had a great conversation with my gma just giving her some of the information I've been coming across lately. It was wild to see her perspective of our time-frame nowadays. She was big eyed at the immense opportunities we all have regarding technology and other things that didn't exist when she was younger. No matter your age, you can use these things to your advantage and obviously if you are younger, it's going to be interesting to see what transpires over your lifetime. Last, I just remind you to be a nice person. After all today is world kindness day, so please just do that. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. You don't rise to the occasion you fallback to your training

2. Speak to your elders to inquire about perspective

3. Be nice, today is world kindness day

Seventy-eighth Episode released on 11/09/2020. Happy Monday to you guys. This episode was originally planned for last Friday, then Saturday, but things wouldn't corporate. I worked 20+ hours on Friday and had nothing in the tank on Saturday. Also Oregon Football was playing for the first time in a long time on Sat. So I chose to watch that and enjoy that time with friends instead. Today's episode hits on most leaders are preaching us the same general messages. They may say it in different ways, or they may of even said it at different times throughout history, but they are giving us the answers we seek for growth. I also share with you guys something I finally created, a vision board. I can't tell you guys how exciting it was to do it and look at the finished product. Last, I talk about life being about people and influencing others based on Tim Tebow's book This Is The Day that I'm currently reading. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Seventy-seventh Episode released on 11/02/2020. Here we go again! Hope y'all had a great Halloween weekend. I know it was probably different than years past, but we still got to enjoy this holiday season. I personally had a great time with friends and was able to reconnect with former teammates of mine from Oregon Football. This entire episode stems from the opportunity I had to reconnect at a skills camp hosted by former NFL athletes and D1 collegiate players. What a time it was and want to give a special thanks to my guy Dominque Harrison who I played with at Oregon for the invite. During this episode I cover discipline and dedication as that was something we stressed to the young guys who are coming up in the world of sports. We go over some real life examples from legends in their respective fields. Next I talk about how we should use our past connections/resources to do more good out in the world. A lot of us have been apart of larger groups, teams, companies, etc where we've meet resourceful people. Make an effort to use all that in order to give back. Lastly, it all starts with the youth if we want to make changes. The amount of value you will get out of helping the young ones is incredible. We should all be trying to find ways to give back that's fun for us. It's going to be more rewarding than almost anything money can buy. Once you get those feelings you'll always want more of it. Was happy to attend an event like this and take away such good perspective. I will leave all the socials below to the guys involved who are putting on for their communities. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Seventy-sixth Episode released on 10/30/2020. Happy Friday to you guys! Also Happy Halloween. I hope you guys find a way to make it a good one even though things are a tad different this year. Personally, I haven't really been too hyped for Halloween, maybe it's because I don't have a costume, maybe it's because I've got a lot of others things on my mind. However, I hope you guys get some candy and share some memories with your people. Today's episode was inspired by a couple of things, first, a book, 3 things successful people do: The roadmap that will change your life by John Maxwell and also an LA based rapper/creative, David Sabastian. I hit that success is a lifelong journey not a destination and you don't all of sudden arrive at a destination like magic and everything is perfect. We wish it was that way at times and even come to think that that's what is going to happen when we become successful but this is far from the truth. Second, I tell you guys what you already know and that there are going to be plenty of people who doubt you and hate on you for no reason at all. Keep pushing, block out the noise, and believe in yourselves at all costs! Lastly, I touch on a topic spurred by Mr. David Sabastian himself. A lot of women (you can sub in the other gender or preference as well) have posted on social media lately about having a suitor provide them with designer items, a lavish lifestyle, or high social status in order to "bag them" "be with them" "have and hold their attention". David says simply, a woman who loves you for your MIND, now that could be the ONE. Instead of these other things. David also says suitors should focus more on providing value, helping them with business, investing in the person and their mindset, helping them harness their creativity, etc. I resonated with this and thought it was an interesting topic to discuss although out of my typical area because I am no love guru. I have failed in that department plenty of times lol but I'll be the first to admit that. I hope you find actual value in this episode. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. Today's episode touches on the following topics: 1. Success is a lifelong journey not a destination  2. There will always be doubters and haters if YOU give them power 3. Seventy-fifth Episode released on 10/26/2020. Happy Monday to you and yours! It's gotten chilly out here in Portland-metro area man. I had another solid weekend with those in my circle. We were able to celebrate a couple of our friends birthdays, and some exciting news that one of them is going to become a dad. Congrats to the new parents. I've known this guy for a decade plus and I couldn't be happier for him. With that celebration came a Sunday of recovery and not feeling up to par, you feel me! I'm getting up there in age and don't bounce back as quick as I used to. Anyways I listened to Joyner Lucas' new album and that inspired me on the first topic. A track titled "The Problem" really opened my eyes that usually a lot of our issues lie within us ourselves. We have to go back to these "traumas" we've went through and pick them apart in a healthy manner but it starts within us. I also touch on how we try to please too many people, and there are certain ones we will never please no matter what we do. Lastly, I watched and finished the social dilemma on Netlflix. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommended you watch it for educational purposes. I don't think I spoke on the pod episode about how it is also affecting our democracy and dividing us more than ever socially but I do hit the other takeways I pulled from it. Let's be aware of our use and lasting footprint using social media. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Past traumas may be holding YOU back

  2. You don't have to please everyone, you can't

  3. Educate yourself on the power of social media

Seventy-fourth Episode released on 10/23/2020. Happy Friday y'all. Another weekend is here and it's getting chilly out there in the PNW fall at least where I'm located. Going to have to pull out my beanie and puffy jacket y'all. I had a potential close call this week at work and it really gave me the energy and life on this episode. I just want to remind everything how thankful we should be as we get to wake up another day and fight for what we want and where we want to go in life. That's amazing! I hope you agree and you show daily gratitude, cause I swear that will change your outlook on many things. I also touch on how we are all going at different paces, which I know I've already done an episode on, but it's just constantly coming up these days so I hit it again. Lastly, I talk about how when you look good, you feel good, thus you perform good. I had this experience at Oregon where we had the best uniforms in the country, hands down (and still do). Just know style is ever evolving and trends change, but hopefully when you get ready, you look in the mirror and tell yourself you're killing it, cause that's a good feeling. We really should all love ourselves. Don't put all your value into your appearance, but do take care of yourself, it has psychological effects. Who doesn't want to look and feel good? Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Each day is a blessing

2. Everybody is moving a different paces

3. Look good, feel good, perform good

Seventy-third Episode released on 10/19/2020. Happy Monday y'all. This episode I brought on a guest and long time friend/homie of mine Ruben Garcia that I met in 2012 as a freshman at the University of Oregon. I met Ruben in the dorms even though we weren't roommates we essentially were. We connected over music, sports, and just being clueless freshman trying to find our way. Our paths were very different, but I think we both connected because we were lost souls. Ruben had a rough upbringing and no male role model in his childhood. I lost my father towards the end of mine. I've had Ruben's back through all he has been through, which has been a lot. Ruben's also been an unwavering friend to me throughout the years even though I made career choices that he didn't necessarily vibe with. Ruben's story is unlike anybody I've brought on the show before. Learning from the lows of life really will teach you a lot and make you built different. I know Ruben will be successful because of everything he's been through he continues to fight for the life he envisions. I'm proud of him in the fact that he admits and knows his faults and he isn't afraid to speak on it. Most people never find that kind of power within themselves as they try to deflect all of their insecurities and make excuses. This episode is def intended for mature audiences only as we talk about some real S*** here. Be on the look for Ruben's upcoming book as he has a great idea he is bringing to life. I will get you all that information when it drops. Tentative release date of March 2021. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Seventy-second Episode released on 10/16/2020. Hey pod fam, I am back after another absence due to my trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my close friends eloping and attending another wedding. It was a great weekend in Vegas and I came back with a lot of perspective which I packed into this episode. It was a really quick trip but totally worth it. I was disappointed because I missed game 6 of the NBA Finals (which I never miss the Finals) but other than that what a weekend! I skipped Monday's pod because I didn't want to rush writing the outline and honestly I was drained from Vegas. In this episode I touch on being open to meeting new people because I most definitely made some new friends while in Vegas. I also felt the drag and lag from when I came home so I go over a few things to address that. Lastly, why are we always wanting to win arguments with others? In the end I don't think it's worth it and it's a lot of energy exhausted, and for what? Just ask yourself and you may be surprised that your arguing for no apparent victory. Congrats to Rochelle and Dan on their marriage and Jack and Jessie, my good friends who finally did the THING. Love y'all. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Seventy-First Episode released on 10/09/2020. What's going on podcast fam! It's another weekend, I hope you guys are adjusting to the fall leaves and fall season. I am going to Las Vegas this weekend for a couple weddings so I had to get this in before I left. Today's episode tells you to SMILE more. We're still here in this life and have plenty to be thankful for, so showing that smile is going to be infectious to all other humans. Try it out. I also hit on linking up with friends who are in town visiting. It's always good to drop other things to connect with distant friends. Just because there is a far distance doesn't mean your friendship isn't off the charts. Lastly, I tell you guys to listen to other people attentively because that may lead you to discover SO MUCH MORE about an individual. Thank y'all for the continued support. Seventieth Episode released on 10/02/2020. How we doing y'all? I hope you guys are ready for the last 3 months of 2020. We have 1/4 of the year left to propel us into 2021. Take it serious and personal. I've been trying to record these episodes more based on things that are currently happening in my life, whether it's work or just things I'm noticing or picking up on. This is episode 70! It touches on YOU, you're gonna have you when no one else has got you. YOU can always count and rely on yourself to pick yourself up. I also hit giving more appreciation out, which I know I have covered before but its just a crucial time to do so with everything going on in the world the way it is and everything people have been through this year. Lastly, I talk about how one poor decision can lead to a catastrophic type event. I literally saw this unfold this week on a case I worked. Be safe out there, make good choices, you never know where life is going to hurl you. I was a bit off this week on the timing of the pod. I released on a Tuesday instead of Monday and I forget to post to the IG story so y'all will be getting a double whammy post today, Friday. Thank y'all for the continued support. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-ninth Episode released on 09/29/2020. What's going on y'all. Hope y'all had a fantastic weekend. I took some time off of work and I really didn't put it towards grind time (other than the gym and being active). I took some time to myself and filled it with doing things that were fun. I wanted to get this episode pushed out on Monday, but I wasn't anywhere near my laptop the whole day. Sometimes that's just how it goes. This episode, while it's number 69 has no meaning like some of my listeners would hope lol. But it's got some decent content inside, so if your about that, then tune in. I talk about my poor spending habits on meaningless stuff (something I'm still working on and I'm sure a lot of you are too whether you care to admit it or not). As well as referencing another book I just finished, Lost Connections. Link will be below. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-eighth Episode released on 09/21/2020. To be honest with you guys, I didn't even feel like recording this episode today until I listed to a new podcast created by Jeff Logan called Becoming THE Beast. The amount of energy brought forth, told me I had to get back on track and sit down and record for you guys. The reason why I haven't dropped any content as of late was because I had to evacuate from our home last week due to wildfires. While, thankfully our house didn't burn down and we were able to return home, it still was a crazy stressful time for a whole lot of people in this area. I took my podcast equipment with me, but I just couldn't get in the right headspace to sit down and record anything. Today finally woke me up, and this episode is coming to you late and I didn't even use an outline. But the message is there. LOVE the life the you live and cherish each and every day but we never know when our time is up or what thing out of our control is going to happen. That's what I'm trying to get across here and I know it's long winded and can be a redundant message, but it's true. I hope everyone is staying safe in these crazy times out there, I don't think 2020 is done surprising us so stay alert and ready! Thank you guys for tuning in, and I mention at the end of the episode I got some new Ubiquitous Growth logo stickers (only a handful left) but hmu if you would like one. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following :

The wildfires that torched a lot of the west coast that upended many people from their homes and my thoughts on going through that.

Sixty-seventh Episode released on 09/07/2020. Happy Labor Day y'all! I hope you guys all had a great relaxing weekend. I really enjoyed mine up to this point. Several good times with a lot of good A** people. Life don't stop for no one, so keep on shining out there. Today's episode coming to you was kind of a quick one. I touch on delegating certain tasks, after doing your research, to others. As fast paced as our world is today, and everything needed to get things done, it would be nice to have some help. I've been looking more into this and I think it's where I'm headed with how much is on my plate. At some point you have to learn to manage others, so I'm starting out small, with easy to explain tasks that will save me time which I can then use into other more important things. Let me know if any of you guys use VA's or other services to help out your productivity. I also hit protecting your future by being clear with you intentions. I still have work do to in this area, I'm not going to lie, but I think it's a good area to grow in. You will thanks yourself and others will appreciate the open communication. Last, I was thinking about a trip, while I recorded this, but it may fizzle out cause I'm not much of a golfer. LOL. However, I may still do it at some point and the overall point is still solid. Take that trip. Schedule it. Don't worry about the money, you will always make more. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Delegate certain tasks

2. Protect your future by being transparent with others about your intentions

3. Take that trip

Sixty-sixth Episode released on 09/04/2020. Happy Friday y'all. Hope you guys have an excellent Labor Day weekend. Hopefully it's filled with good weather, good food, good music, good places, and good people. A whole lot of GOOD. Today's episode honed in on being productive and ways to do that better. I'm always looking to challenge myself to find my productive hot zone and I hope you can find it as well. A great book that I'm currently reading was the inspiration for a couple of these topics. I will post it below like usual. Lastly, I hope you guys aren't afraid to be some trendy mother bleepers. I think we all learn more about who we are through experience and trying new crazy things. So go for it and don't fear what the rest of the world thinks, as long as you are down with it! Alright y'all, I mention again in this episode to go check out my guest episode with my great friend, Ross Palmer, it is episode 64 as I think you guys will enjoy our conversation. Also I apologize for so many mess-ups and my poor speech on this episode, I had a very long day and clearly it showed haha, but goes again to prove my point on topic #3! Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-fifth Episode released on 08/31/2020. I can't believe the month of August is almost over and we are heading into September. Damn time goes by quick, this pandemic summer has been odd. Anyways, happy Monday! Hope you get off to a great start to your week. My new schedule has given me Monday's off, which is weird to me, but least I get a weekday to get some things done. Bringing you guys this episode after reflecting on the weekend and everything that was packed inside of it. The world lost some great ones over the weekend (notable celebrity deaths, as well as others, REST IN PEACE legends). In this episode I touch on some of that and how I cope dealing with loss. Also, do you guys have a small group of people you stay around (ie. your circle) or you could call it your tribe. I think we all need this, while the world seems more connected than ever due to technology, don't forget to have those in person socialization settings. Lastly, I speak on our friend AGE and how growing older is a gift because you receive so much wisdom throughout your years. I hope this finds you in good light and you find value in it. Cherish each day you have here, blessings. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-fourth Episode released on 08/28/2020. What's going on guys, hope you all are about to have an amazing weekend. It's been a while since I've done a guest episode, but I finally sat down with one of my closet friends, Ross Palmer, and we hit some good talking points. Unfortunately, due to distance, we used Zoom to record and the audio on Ross's end isn't the best of quality (thanks Airpods lol). But it will do. The episode is about an hour long, as we talk about how we became friends, and everything that's happened since. I think the conversation has several good talking points and is worth the listen. Ross and I have developed a strong friendship regardless of us being separated by distance when we were freshman in high school. He truly will be a friend for life for me and the crazy thing is, he almost lost his life. Roscoe was given his second chance and his story is definitely inspirational, so take a listen and be sure to show my guy some love. I will put his social handles below. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-third Episode released on 08/24/2020. Happy Monday y'all. Start of a new week and start of an entirely new role in my career for me. While, I am excited, it will be an ease in process due to the pandemic. Which is going to be good, since it's going to be a drastic change. I'm very curious how having a more set "normal" schedule is going to affect me and my own productivity. Anyways, this episode was sparked from events over my weekend. First, I got lost trying to meet up with my friends to go camping and I missed out. While it sucked, there was a lesson to be learned from it. Second, I keep getting these urges to quit on things, but my perseverance helps me out and reminds me to focus on the goals I have set. Third, watching the NBA playoffs reminded me that while we may take several losses, we still have time in this game of life to fight to the finish and we can pick our heads up and look at the scoreboard then. Hope you guys get value out of this episode. Also working in the background on something exciting for the pod hopefully this week. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. When you get lost, ask yourself why you are lost in the first place

2. When the going gets tough, normal people quit, use perseverance to your advantage

3. Having a winning attitude, regardless of the scoreboard

Sixty-second Episode released on 08/21/2020. Happy Friday y'all. Let's make this a great weekend. This episode is just a reminder to appreciate the random occurrences that come into your life. Pay close attention to them, because sometimes they are lost in the shuffle. I think we all focus on whats going around us so much, we may miss things that are outside our circle, that could be amazing things. While we should always prioritize those things that are close to us, we can't ignore other things that the universe may be pushing our way. Anyways, second note. Never stop totally working, because there are others who are working right now while you are chilling. Obviously we need breaks and resets as humans, but put in those late nights if you want to create something epic. Remember still, work smarter, not necessarily harder. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Sixty-first Episode released on 08/17/2020. Happy Monday y'all. Hope you guys get off to a great start to the week and remember, you are ENOUGH. You will DO GREAT THINGS. I had a pretty solid weekend with close friends. There were some definite mental bumps throughout though, can't forget those. Not everyday is sunshine and rainbows but overall, I have to feel pretty positive about where I'm at. This episode touches on desires and greed and why I think it's okay for you to have some greed. We've always been told not to be to greedy as there are those who are less fortunate than us. While, I get that. Being greedy is needed in order to really attain certain levels of things. I don't think some greed is all bad (IMO). Keep on chasing down what you want out there in the world and keep fighting that self-confidence battle. I know we fight and fight and sometimes we get tired, but get that slider to a comfortable level and learn how to stay there. I hope you guys got something out of this episode and all my episodes. It's a blessing to continue to do this show. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Desires and greed (small amounts) are okay to have

2. Revisit what you like

3. Self-confidence, getting the slider in a good position

Fifty-ninth Episode released on 08/10/2020. Happy Monday y'all. Hope you guys get off to killer weeks out there. In this episode I touch on building blocks and why it's so important to have a solid foundation in whatever it is you are trying to do. I also touch on our mental scrambles we have going on in our heads when are trying to get stuff done. Thinking of a title for this episode was relatively easy the more I analyzed it. Pace, we all set our own paces and work at different speeds and that's okay. Just because you start after someone else doesn't mean you won't win the race. Pay attention to the details and use your pace to your advantage. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Strong foundations

  2. Scrambling mentally

Fifty-eighth Episode released on 08/07/2020. Happy FRIDAY and the start to the weekend! One of my best friends, Conner Collins, got married today on this gorgeous day! So first and foremost, shoutout to my boy and his beautiful bride. Due to the pandemic, wasn't able to attend the ceremony in person, but was able to watch it on ZOOM which was still pretty cool. Congrats to the newlyweds. This episode was sparked through a book I finally was able to pick up and start reading, Rich dad poor dad. Amazing book so far. I also hit on why we all worry so much and how some things are out of our control. I know you guys will feel me on these things, but we all go through it. Hang in there, YOU GOT THIS. Fifty-seventh Episode released on 08/03/2020. Hey guys, my work week was pretty insane and never was able to get to the pod until the end of it. When I sat down to record after writing the outline, my external hard-drive wasn't working again. I ordered a new cable but I think it may be the device itself, but I was able to get it to work and was finally able to record on a Sunday night. Sunday was a great day however, I was able to reconnect with a good friend of mine from college ball and a lot of what we talked about was things I had previously written in the episode for this episode. We discussed how we want nice things, but we are always going to value our great relationships we've made in life over those nice things. I think you guys will get value out of the three topics covered in this episode. I can't wait to see what my guy Sean ends up doing with his life, he's got so much potential. How I know he will be successful is the spark and drive he has inside of him that I saw since day 1 when I met him. We talked about being hungrier because we have always been doubted or been underdogs. I think that mentality will take anyone FAR. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. People and relationships over materials

2. If you want to try something, try it and share it if you want to

3. Have open conversations with friends or colleagues

BlackLivesMatter

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Fifty-sixth Episode released on 07/24/2020. LET'S GO!!! The Ubiquitous Growth Podcast has officially made it through an entire YEAR! I started it on my 25th birthday in order to grow with me as time goes. I turn 26 today and I'm so thankful I started this pod and stuck with it throughout the year. This special edition episode is a review of me going over the entire first year of the pod and some of my favorite episodes (I did leave some out just for time sake). I cover some of the topics briefly from those episodes. Also I briefly touch on turning 26 and where I'm at with that. While I am excited, I'm not really satisfied with where I currently am and that is okay. It gives me a lot of motivation to KEEP PUSHING, that way I get closer to where I truly want to be. 26 will be a year of true soul searching for me and I can't wait to do a whole other year of this podcast for you guys. Lastly, I truly want to thank anyone and everyone who has listened to the pod from the bottom of my heart. The support has been phenomenal and you guys have killed it on the reviews (all 5 stars). THANK YOU AGAIN. MUCH LOVE -Michael, Mike, Manns, or whatever you call me. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

2. Moving forward into year 26 of my life

Fifty-fifth Episode released on 07/20/2020. Happy Monday y'all! Another weekend down, I hope you guys have a terrific one. I had a pretty good one hanging with some of the boys at a low key bachelor party. I also put a lot of work into my nutrition and physical fitness over the weekend, but I did have my first cheat meal on this diet (you have to splurge) and it was fantastic BBQ sliders! This episode was drawing from me thinking about how busy I was in the 3 days I had off. From start to finish it felt like I was squeezing everything in and somehow I did most of what I wanted to. However, there are still things I was not able to get to that have been put off. Just reminds me we all get 24 hours and can only do so much. What do you want to spend your time on and hone in on? I also had another reminder to just be appreciative of the friendships and relationship you have in your life and to know that people may be looking your way for inspiration. Even when we think people aren't, they are! Lastly, I talk about nutrition because I started this rad diet. I feel like I could talk a whole episode about just that so let me know if you guys want that at some point. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. 24 hours. What do you want to be honed in on?

2. People may look your way and you don't even know it

3. Nutrition, being detailed and diligent!

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Fifty-fourth Episode released on 07/18/2020. It's the weekend, Saturday, and it's gorgeous out here in Portland. Had a great gym session this morning after a great Friday night. Had a lot of positive energy when I sat down to record this episode. I hope it shines out within the episode. This episode is touching on answering things, like opportunity and phone calls. You never know when you answer something what is going to be behind that. Consistency is another theme that comes back up in this episode. I've been trying to be more consistent in all areas of my life, I hope you're striving to do the same. Thank you guys for tuning in and listening. I hope I'm providing value in any way possible to my audience. I really appreciate the feedback I've been getting. I'm also super hyped about the direction the podcast is still heading. Take care y'all and let's keep growing. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Don't take days off, take time blocks off. Take preventive measures to not waste an entire day

  2. When opportunity knocks, answer the door. At least entertain it

  3. Answer your phone calls (work in progress for me lol)

Fifty-third Episode released on 07/13/2020. Happy Monday y'all. Today started off as an amazing day man. I started a new diet (details on my Insta) and hit the ground running with it. The weather was 75+ degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and picture perfect blue skies. I got in a great workout and was feeling super productive. I had lunch in a beautiful park and read a book and was feeling very fulfilled by the day I was having. I ended up going into work ready to work my shift and was told my schedule had changed (I had failed to check it). I was so busy prepping for this diet making sure everything was in order that I hadn't checked my work schedule and just assumed it would be normal (c'mon man). Anyways, I came home and received even more bad news that my bank account had been shut down completely. I let this get to me in a negative way and I got upset. I definitely let my great mood change to a shitty one. While I regret it and eventually calmed down by gathering myself. It sparked this episode for the podcast. Hopefully you guys don't let random curveballs mess up your days when you're in a great mood, like me. This episode also poses that we are our own worst enemies. Think about it and let me know your thoughts on that statement. Who is your own worst enemy? I am my own worst enemy at times and find myself holding ME BACK. Anyways, I hope you guys get value from this episode. Lot's going on in my current world, so I'm going to be staying busy and making more episodes for the pod. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Don't let negative curveballs ruin your day/mood

2. We are our own worst enemy at times

3. Right away, no way, take the path of mastery

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Fifty-second Episode released on 07/10/2020. What's going on guys, happy Friday! Hope you guys are settling into your weekends. It's gorgeous weather out here in Portland, at least today. One of my friends sparked a topic for this episode late last night through text. I'll preface you with the word, BORED. If you are bored, find a way to tap into your creativity and rid yourself of that boredom. Do the things you are good at! I also had a crazy ass dream last night and it got me researching and thinking a lot more about what's going on inside of me during my dreams. Excited to share this tip with you guys and I can't wait to see if some of you use it and what you get out of it. Remember, things are a process and you gotta do things piece by piece, step by step, or however you want to view it. I bought a new bookshelf and assembled it today, and while my patience ran thin, I completed it and it looks sick. Made me remember to do things piece by piece, step by step, to get the final product. Just remember everything is a PROCESS. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. If you find yourself bored, CREATE

2. Do you recall your dreams? start writing them down

3. Piece by piece, put things together one step at a time

BlackLivesMatter

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Fifty-first Episode released on 07/06/2020. Happy Monday y'all, hopefully y'all had a great weekend with family and friends. It's been a very interesting year to date and we are in the second phase of 2020. Today's episode I wanted to sharpen our focus and energy skills to help guide us the rest of the way through the year. A lot of this episode is influenced from the current book I am reading "Limitless" by Jim Kwik. It's a great book and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to improve themselves and their brain! Just know you are in control of activating your focus and your energy, use it to your advantage. I'm reading more and more these days, I want y'all to understand the power of reading. It needs to become one of your daily habits, I'm telling you. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Fiftieth Episode released on 07/04/2020. Today is Independence day in our country, for a while I've been wanting to have a podcast episode just expressing my feelings on the current state of the country with all the political and social issues we are facing. I wanted to be careful on how I approached this because of my unique situation being a police officer. I shared my thoughts and feelings for you guys on this episode. I am human, I am not perfect and I'm still learning on how to view all of this and properly support. I do know that I am a friend of all people and I really want people in this country to be judged on their character like MLK envisioned. I think we have a long ways to go, but clearly the Black Lives Matter Movement is a step in the right direction. I tried not to make this political, rather just sharing my own perspective in hope I can be a voice. This is a long winded episode 30+ minutes. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following:

Thoughts, feelings, and my perspective regarding the social inequality, police brutality, and systematic racism we face.

Forty-ninth Episode released on 06/29/2020. Damn podcast fam, it's been well over a month since my last episode. Usually, I can get through several roadblocks stopping me from being productive and creative. As of late though (past couple months) I've been in a mental fog. A lot of it has to do with personal reasons (a complicated breakup and conflicted self-identity issues). However, pushing through problems and low times is exactly what builds us up. Hopefully, you guys can take what I'm saying on this episode and feel what I'm going through, in order to apply it to your life when situations pop up. Once again I apologize for the gap in content, and I know this isn't the first time but it's definitely the longest. I've felt that and beat myself up over it, but I'm happy to be back and end the delay. I want to get this podcast back on track along with a lot of other things in my life. KEEP PUSHING is a phrase I tell a lot of people in my life. Well, I've been telling myself this as of late and we're going to KEEP PUSHING. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. By the way, BLACK LIVES MATTER. They mattered before George Floyd, they matter now 06/29/20, and they will matter in the years to come. I will be opening up about my personal feelings on an episode soon about the systematic racism we all have witnessed. And yes I'm a cop, that is my current career. If you take issue with that, I understand and will not fault you (even if you say ACAB) but I want to share my perspective with you guys.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Finding motivation

  2. Building good habits kicking bad ones

  3. Ups and downs

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Forty-eighth Episode released on 05/18/2020. 24/7, great song by Meek Mill and Ella Mai, but this was my starting point for this episode. The song was randomly playing as I sat down to write content for this episode and I decided to float down this way with it. I love the hustle mindset of wanting to be on 24/7 and being the best you that you can. But let's be realistic, nobody, not even the goat Michael Jordan is always on in life. There are those who can turn it on more often and deliver in the clutch yes, but no one is on 24/7. I want you guys to become consistent with your time blocks towards your passions, but don't think you have to become a psychopath in order to do so. Science actually says you need this thing called sleep believe it or not. Plan out your time blocks and hold yourself accountable to create during those. I got pretty passionate on this episode for you guys, because I really believe in this s*** I'm saying. I hope you know your surroundings and use them to your advantage. I already know you guys know that only you can change your situations, but remember this, WHAT YOU THINK IS WHAT YOU BECOME. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY, & STAY SWITCHING THAT MENTAL SWITCH TO POSITIVE -with love

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. 24/7, nobody can be on all the time

2. Familiarize yourself with your surroundings

3. Become by using a progression. What you think is what you become

Forty-seventh Episode released on 05/14/2020. When you think of positive people, do you think you are more drawn and attracted to them than negative people? I think the answer is yes. I want you guys to understand the power of positivity and seek it out in positive energizers throughout your life. You will notice these people easily and you can become one yourself. Once you become one, you can help others follow suit. If you follow sports, I know my second topic will relate to you. If you don't, I hope I explained +/- well enough for you, if not go look it up and make sure your +/- in life is as high as possible! BRING VALUE TO WHATEVER IT IS YOU CHOOSE TO DO. Shoutout Shane Battier. To close, I hope everyday you live, you end up proving yourself and your doubts wrong. Stop worrying so much about what others think of you. You've got this, it may not be right now, but you will endure and conquer whatever it is that you want to. Manifest it into reality. I believe in YOU. Forty-sixth Episode released on 05/04/2020. What's going on guys, I hope you guys realize we are in the month of May cause it sure came up fast on me. With that being said, when's the last tough decision you put off making? I can tell you I go through this dilemma constantly. Being a bit more decisive can change your life and how you address tough decisions going forward. When you make a tough decision, I hope you are confident with your choice. I reference the classic, what do you want to eat question in this episode, and I think any of you humans can relate! Also remember your WHY on why you started something. I know that has a significant power on your ability to accomplish the mission (whatever it is). Lastly, no one is coming to save you. You can only save yourself. Forty-fifth Episode released on 04/27/2020. Phew, the month of April flew by and I didn't provide you guys with hardly any content! I hope you missed me, I sure missed recording for you guys. I'm sorry, I decided to make a big decision and move back home for the time being after my lease ended. With the move and everything going on, I put the podcast on a brief hold while I got everything settled. This wasn't an easy decision especially at this point in my life. I felt like I was way to old (I'm 25 turning 26 this year) to move back home and do all that but I realized I'm sacrificing for my future self, future fam, and future goals, so I'm gonna just make the most of it. I also don't really care what others think, because you will never be able to please everyone if you try. In this episode, I present you with the notorious phrase, "Babies N Memories". Make of it what you will, I hope you guys enjoy. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Babies and Memories

2. Get out and move to enhance your mind-state

3. Don't date someone EXACTLY like you (opinion)

Forty-fourth Episode released on 04/07/2020. Today I rose to the challenge of being a human-being, I filled my cup with water to hydrate and quench my thirst. I stuck it to one area of my life that needed addressed by creating this piece of content. I felt content in doing so and felt satisfaction in doing so. Today, I also received a screenshot text of the weather for the week from a friend. It's mainly sunny and beautiful. My friend was disappointed with the quarantine still being in effect. I know it kills me too guys, but I hope you are stay mentally strong. Remember in times like these to continue to stay ready. Prep yourself to get ahead by filling your cup from the right sources. I want to also say, I appreciate the people still listening to this podcast and still wanting to grow with me as I try and grow my very self. Forty-third Episode released on 03/31/2020. A year ago to the date, we lost Nipsey Hussle, who was truly prolific in many eyes. I remember hearing about his passing while I was working out at the gym. I texted a few of my friends the news and was in disbelief. I instantly felt anger, as I felt the world we were living in was so messed up. Now look, a year forward, we are all inside and a virus has taken over the world for the time-being. You never know which way life is going to go. It truly is a marathon and it keeps continuing, just as Nipsey so often preached. This episode is dedicated to the prolific artist, who's lyrics, resonated with me on so many levels. I know I'm not the only one who felt the power in his music. No matter who you are or where you are from, I promise you, the theme's inside of Nipsey's music are worth diving into. I hope you are all staying healthy and strong in these strange times. The marathon continues, and Nispey Hussle's legacy lives on. RIP. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Forty-second Episode released on 03/24/2020. On 03/23/2020, Oregon Governor, Kate Brown, issued an executive order to all Oregonian's to stay home in order to save lives amid the pandemic. I decided to title this episode after that order because it is an important time to stay home and to practice social distancing. Places all around the world are following similar measures to beat the virus. With everything going on, I keep using the word "unprecedented" to describe what it happening. I've personally never seen times like these in my lifetime (25 years). I hope you are all staying safe out there and hopefully things go back to normal sooner rather than later. The ripple effects of this pandemic are interesting to see, as the Olympics could also potentially be cancelled due to this. Anyways, this episode is still speaking on the virus and what I believe you should be doing in times like these. Continue to stay home if possible, eat well, work-out at home, and do your part in helping to control the spread of the virus. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. FaceTime/video chat is an underrated tool. Check in on those you love, especially right now

2. Monitor the financial markets closely

3. Make moves now, so when this all fades away, you are ahead of everyone else

Thank you and I'll catch you later. [Intro/Outro music credit: Instrumental produced by Hastro Beats]

Forty-first Episode released on 03/16/2020. All sports are cancelled (I'm sad about this one), public gatherings are limited, social distancing is in effect, the year is 2020 and we are living this out currently. Sounds like some sort of movie right? No, we're in this world currently and it's not a movie plot. So strap in and get ready because everything is changing drastically day by day. Knowledge and information is still king, and while I don't know what information is truly accurate, I do know the right thing is to limit your contact with others (especially eldery) and to wash your hands properly is solid advice. This episode is themed around the pandemic facing our world currently. I wanted to see where you were at mentally if things really did get worse before they get better. I think now is a great time to reflect on your life. Please take this stuff seriously as nobody knows the outcome. I know it may be easy to laugh at and think everything will be fine, but just don't blow it off. Be responsible and do your part. Keep your mindset positive, embrace extra time with family and find new things to do if you are shut off from your normal world. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way. Today's episode touches on the following topics: 1. When the world crashes and burns, are you satisfied with your life?  2. Have a positive mindset, think this ain't even close to the end, I have so much more to give 3. You never know what you have until it's gone  Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later. Fortieth Episode released on 03/06/2020. We made it to forty y'all. If you're still locked in with me on this journey, I appreciate you. If you're just starting at episode one, I appreciate you. Hell, if you've ever tuned in to one episode, I appreciate you. I watched the movie Big Fat Liar yesterday, and it comes into play at the end of this episode in a fitting way. Really though, I think the message I was getting at on this episode is the four letter word L O V E. I hope you receive love and appreciation in many forms. I hope you honor that love and that you fight to always get it, because you truly deserve it. EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE LOVED, even the BIG FAT LIAR. I think this theme is one I could dive into even deeper at a later point. IM NO GURU, but I have my own perspectives on the theme that I'd be happy to go further in on someday. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Fight for what you love

2. Appreciate the love you receive, don't take it for granted

3. Understand that your life is different from everyone else's.

Thirty-ninth Episode released on 02/24/2020. 2.24 ∞ Mamba Forever man. Hopefully you tuned into Kobe Bryant's celebration of life today at the Staples Center. There were some truly touching moments, and Vanessa Bryant showed the world how strong of woman she is. This episode did draw some inspiration from that event, but also just my normal life. I was able to hang out this past weekend in an old spot with a special group of friends and the nostalgia just hit me. I was super grateful and appreciative to be in those moments and I want you as well to appreciate times like those when they happen. I'm also battling big decisions in my life and wanted to share that you in the end must make your own decisions as it your life and you're going to have to live it out. But really the emphasis of this episode was on the phrase go do SHIT. And I really hope you do. I'll leave it at that. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

Busy like always with work and my life outside of work. Today's episode is a friendly reminder to be there for those people who need it, even if others have shut them out. I thought of Toy Story for some reason and the song by Randy Newman, "You've got a friend in me". Also, do you have any clue what you are doing in life? If you do congrats, but if you don't, you're not the only one my friends. Anyways I hope you guys are getting something out of this podcast and I appreciate you guys, thanks for your continued support. Thirty-seventh Episode released on 02/11/2020. Today would have been my father's 53rd birthday. It also happens to be the release of my 37th episode which is significant to me. As this podcast was built around those numbers and it was my jersey number in college. I wanted to release this episode in honor of my dad and share some of the story towards the end of his time on this earth. My dad passed away from a heart attack on 08/10/2009, sorry I failed to mention what he passed from in the pod, but it was sort of a difficult thing to talk about. It's been the fuel to my fire since then, and I've only wanted to make him proud. In this episode I dive into being a doer, making the right choices, and sharing what me and my dad did last. As well as what the number 37 means to me. This is a very long episode and I sort of just went with the flow. I didn't want to make any edits on this episode cause I just wanted it to come from my brain/heart. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. Be a doer, say YES more

2. Choices, make the right one

3. My dad, stories. Role Models

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Thirty-sixth Episode released on 02/06/2020. We are into February y'all, just like that, one month already gone in 2020. Sorry for the delay on content, just got back from a vacation to Las Vegas and my laptop was having issues connecting to my external hard-drive, so podcasting wasn't really an option. Finally got it fixed and back to my routine sort of. This episode was actually recorded on 02/03/2020. One thing is a constant, there will always be obstacles in your path. It's easier to give in to them and get off track than it is to stay on track, but like I always say, keep pushing. This was an interesting episode, I kind of felt rusty after being away from it for awhile, but nonetheless some interesting content. I'm a fan of topic #2 for sure. Hopefully you question yourself on those three being apart of our daily conversations. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Hashing things out

  2. Past, Present, Future

  3. Invest in yourself

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Thirty-fifth Episode released on 01/28/2020. My heart hurts and I know the world is hurting as well, and it's not even if you were just a basketball fan. Kobe Bean Bryant has left us unexpectedly in a helicopter crash, what can only be called a tragedy. Kobe's beautiful and talented daughter, Gianna Bryant also lost her life at just 13 years old. As well as John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, and pilot Ara Zobayan. May all their souls rest in peace. And prayers and thoughts to all the mourning families. This episode is just simply me talking about Kobe's impact on me and how his death has millions mourning. Kobe's Mamba Mentality will live on forever and it's important to emphasize his legacy is bigger than basketball. Kobe was a family man, with four daughters and a wife. Please view what he's left behind for us, as there's so much to learn from. Kobe said to love what you do. Kobe also said "I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success. Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses". REST IN PEACE to all those involved in this horrible incident. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Thirty-fourth Episode released on 01/20/2020. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On this special episode I wanted to honor the great Martin Luther King Jr. who was a tremendous civil rights activist and influence on the world. If you haven't been living like Tom Hanks on Castaway, well you've probably heard MLK's I have a dream speech. It's one of the most iconic speeches the world has ever known. On today's episode, I read off three MLK quotes and dived into them from my own brain a little bit. Hopefully, you gain growth in the quotes themselves or by me analyzing and unpacking them. Whatever the case, please honor this man's body of work, as his radical vision for America has been manifesting for decades. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following MLK Jr. quotes:

  1. "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward".

  2. "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

  3. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their ski, but by the content of their character".

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Thirty-third Episode released on 01/20/2020. I recorded this episode after I just felt fed up seeing the ugliness that is SUICIDE. I also wanted to just spill some of what I see most in my line of work. Truthfully, it's been really difficult to watch others end their life and not really knowing the real why's. I go and basically rule out homocides, help notify family, and clean up the mess. I think the best way for me to help in my position is to just spread awareness. Hopefully in this episode you feel what I'm getting at. Issues in our society are all across the board, but hopefully MENTAL HEALTH has become more on your radar as of late. It's a serious issue, and I feel like we've made progress on the awareness side of it. Anyways, hope y'all enjoy this episode whenever you consume it. It is a longer one. I know this isn't exactly related to you personally growing, but I think becoming more aware of all this topics will help you grow yourself. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Suicide Prevention

  2. Mental Health

  3. Life Skills

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Thirty-second Episode released on 01/17/2020. Welcome back, hope you guys are moving through this first month of the year at a pace that is going to set you up for success. Personally, been dealing with a lot of things that are difficult processes and stunt growth. That is part of life, and I know when I need to be there for people and understand so it's nothing to me to put delays on things. When you truly care about someone and they need you, you can set aside time for them no matter how lofty your own goals are. You can get back to them. Anyways, this episode reflects that time period and whats been happening in some ways. It also brings out the three B's, which is kind of hilarious but needed so tune in for that. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

1. It's okay to be lazy, give yourself a reset, but get back on track ASAP

2. Losing people and dealing with it. The grieving process

3. The three B's. Excuse my language. Bills, Booze, and Bitches (replace with what's needed)

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Twenty-sixth Episode released on 12/10/2019. SECOND GUEST EPISODE featuring one of my brothers for life, Omar Reynaga, whom I had the opportunity to come across when I moved to Molalla, Oregon in 2009 and began attending Molalla High School. From the first time I met Omar, I could tell he was an intelligent person with an incredible work ethic. I remember playing high school basketball with the guy and when we'd all be tired getting off practice ready to go home, this guy would be going to his job at Safeway to bag groceries. Omar would never complain, just do what he needed to do. Over the years, he's become a true confidant in my life. We've had numerous discussions throughout the years and I know this guy is going to always put the people HE LOVES FIRST in his live. This sit down was pretty fun to do, but definitely an organic conversation with very little editing. This pod comes out to be about 40+ minutes. I hope you guys take somethings away from our conversation. Omar is an incredible human being and is filled with a personality like no other I've come across. Nothing but babies and memories brother! Thank you for all you've done in my life brother, I will always cherish our friendship. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following: A guest sit down with Omar Reynaga (Omar has no social media, reach out to me to connect with him)

Twenty-fourth Episode released on 11/18/2019. First off, I want to apologize about my voice on this episode, I got sick and then went down to the Oregon Ducks Football game and yelled my a** off, so yeah my voice is completely gone. Second, I had a great time at the Oregon game and saw a ton of old faces. It was humbling to run into people and they knew about my podcast, I felt the love. Makes me feel so hungry and eager to continue this journey for y'all. Oregon got the easy W by the way and sits a-top the PAC 12 North. Sco Ducks. Shoutout to everyone supporting me and this podcast, I can't thank y'all enough and even if I'm influencing one person in a positive way, that's what matters to me. I decided to take some of the themes that stood out in that guest episode and continue with it on this one with the 3 topics. If you ever feel depressed, just know that it is okay, and there are ways to get through it. I'm super stoked with finally getting the first guest episode done, and it's done well in comparison to the other episodes. I thought the length of the episode would be a factor in people listening but looks like y'all loved the guest thing. More to come. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Give yourself interventions

  2. Communicate with people who care about you when you feel depressed, don't exclude yourself from the world

  3. Seek professional help if your friends/fam/support system isn't cutting it

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Twenty-second Episode released on 11/08/2019. FIRST GUEST EPISODE featuring my guy, Tyler Garza, whom I met in high school and become close friends with at the University of Oregon and still rocking. Felt really honored to have Tyler be my first podcast guest. This episode is lengthy, clocking in at approximately 30 minutes but it has some great content packed inside. I sit down with Tyler and cover where he’s at in life and ask him some interesting questions and we have some good back n forths. I think there’s several things to takeaway during our conversation on this pod. Hopefully y’all grow from this, I know I did! More guest episodes to follow, let me know who y’all wanna hear from. And if you can’t listen the full 30 minutes that’s fine, but if there’s one thing Tyler Garza would want to leave you with, it’s PLAY THE LONG GAME. Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following: A guest sit down with Tyler Garza (IG: @T__Garza)

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated. Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Twenty-first Episode released on 10/28/2019. It's been minute since I've released an episode for the podcast. For that I am feeling guilty, but I've been trying to put together guests coming on the podcast and really hit some roadblocks as far as recording content. This episode exactly covers all of that and what I've been going through. Life is a complicated beautiful mess isn't it? I hope y'all are feeling these fall vibes I've been getting. The colors of the leaves, the tinge of the burnt orange sunlight, the crisp air, it's all shaping up to really be a great fall here in the PNW. While it's been nice out, I've been making excuses and letting things slide. Don't slip up like I have, keep on growing, I urge you. I'm okay with where the podcast is at still though and don't feel like the gap was too terribly long. Let's get back on track! Still thrilled to be bringing you more content and I appreciate any and all feedback. Continuing to use my voice to spread growth to the world in my own way.

Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Roadblocks

  2. Battling demons

  3. You are the only one stopping yourself

Feel free to leave any feedback as it is much appreciated.

Thank you and I'll catch you later.

Hope y'all are going to have a great productive rest of your week, this is a late night Monday drop. Interesting episode right here, curious how the response will be to it. If I haven't said it directly on the podcast yet, I'll say it here. I'm done caring what people "think about me" and I'm comfortable with who I am becoming. With that being said, nothing but ubiquitous growth around here. Today's episode touches on the following topics:

  1. Make decisions as if you're setting things up for your unborn child

I recorded this episode after work and my mind was really not as focused as normal so bear with me on these topics. The delivery may not quite be what I wanted, but I just went with it.
