o·be·di·ence/əˈbēdēəns/noun: submission to another's authority; give heed to, listen to, yield to.

Everytime obedience is mentioned I can literally feel the offense rise up within people. Why? Because in our current culture to submit or be obedient to someone else means you have no say so, they don't care about your desires and only want to control you. This may be true for the secular world or those submitting to someone who isn't led by Jesus but as Christians we are called to live a life of sacrificial obedience to the Lord. One of the crucial reasons for this is because God uses people in the earth to get His will done, an act of disobedience can cause another person to be unnecessarily delayed from receiving whatever is on the other side of your obedience. On the flip side your obedience directly leads to someone's #breakthroughs , #deliverance , #healings , #ministry , or even their #salvation .
