We have been on a few first dates we are sharing our experiences that we consider to be learning opportunities for guys. Prepare to take notes and we apologize if we hit the nail on the head-- but that's the point. Speaking from experience, the dates shared on this episode have left us with more questions and we hope they resonate with you but not in a bad and ugly way.
Reflection questions: How are dates "supposed" to work? Are you willing to compromise on a first date? Who pays? Can I go on a date when am broke and should I communicate that with my potential date before hand?

As much as we love sharing with our listeners about ourselves, we would be doing ourselves a disservice by not talking about #blacklivesmatter. we are sharing our thoughts on the movement, our experiences as black women and offering some remedies on how to move forward.
We are exploring some of the reasons why we are not yet married- clearly not all of them as some may need to be revealed by those we have dated/ interviewed. We talk about love but also why being single is a relationship status that we can happily embrace.
Reflection thought: Is marriage still a relevant relationship status and how can we make sense of how it has evolved over time?
Why does black love have so many conditions? conditions are things like having education and or career, height, weight, etc we explore how these affect our relationships.
Reflection - Are the conditions in Black love within the relationship or from external influences ?
