This week is a Special Delivery episode, Where I analyze the current state of black media personalities and the content they create, there has been a proliferation of lifting up problematic media pundits to a height where they can garner attention from a global stage to promote misogyny, political incorrectness, and too many phobias to list. I juxtapose the journalists reporting the best content of the times but aren’t being lifted as fast. I gave a list of people you should replace some of the top media platforms with better people

This week I am talking about relationships and dating, specifically the concept of red, yellow, and green flags in a relationship. This was inspired by a debriefing conversation with my best friend Emily when her therapist suggested she write down her flags and allow that to guide her discernment when dating. I suggest the same to the listeners in this episode giving examples of each flag and why this is an effective method of healthy dating if you stand your ground on those red flags you should find your “lil baby that’s gonna listen” quicker than you know it.

We examine the cases of other controversial artists like Chris Brown & Tory Lanez, consider the impact of the “Soul on Ice” generation, and urge listeners to consider individual values and beliefs when deciding to support these artists. This week on Simply King, I am featuring one of my favorite repeat guests to come back and join me about a conversation that, I believe is necessary and certainly a start of many. We spoke to the phenomenon that heterosexual men truly show a genuine disdain for women socially, economically, sexually, to name a few aspects of this behavior. We brokedown the why this occurs so often and is engrained into society no matter the race or culture. We provided solutions to this trend hoping that all listening can share and build on the why this is so we can shift this paradigm.
