THE BENEFITS OF SURRENDER by Prophetess Elizabeth Mungai. Dec 15, 2017
Surrender is renouncing the power of sin over our lives and giving up whatever weighs us down.
Jesus looked for back up to pray with Him until He gave in to God's will.
What comes from your mouth matters.
What you say.
- When you surrender, God will be able to return you to the path of your destiny. - Psalms 18:28
- The Lord will start releasing prophetic directions to you. Like jesus' prayer of surrender before crucifixion.
- The Lord will redirect your prayer life.
- God institutes speed in your life. John 21:6 - Jesus telling the disciples to turn their nets. What do you want speed for?
- The Lord becomes your mighty warrior. Your victory becomes His testimony. Job 1:8
- You'll start encountering success. Psalms 18:43-43.

Our main verses are:
1 Samuel 27:1 drop your plan be and walk with the plan of God. David's plan B led him to the enemy's camp.
Job 22:21 Submit to God and be at peace with Him. This way, prosperity will come to you.
Where is authority?
- Authority is everywhere.
- God is everywhere. It is up.to you to discern Him wherever He can be found.
Matthew 28:16-20 Who are the authorities
Romans 13 says there are two levels of authority. Higher and lower.
HIGHER AUTHORITY
- God - father, son and Holy spirit.
- Conscious because God is in me. The breath of God in me. 2nd Tim 1:3 pure and impure conscience. You keep your conscience pure by listening to it regularly. Only a pure authority can be the voice of God.
- Word of God who is a mirror. The truth of God in the word.
LOWER AUTHORITY
- Delegated: parent, first born, president, when in the will of God is equal to God himself.
- Contractual agreements. Written authority: sale agreements,
- Functional authority. e.g. A doctor treating. God gives gifts to men so that His authority can flow to those people.
- Customary authority. American, British, Jews Acts 25: 8
How do we benefit from authority?
- Matthew 8, Jesus commended the centurion for quoting his submission of authority.
- If you submit, you will progress. Authority is God. It cannot be grabbed but it can be tapped into.
- Submit, we exercise authority by being under authority.
- Submit one to another.
- Prayer positions, it doesn't amplify.

- Yoke yourself with Jesus. Destiny is when you are not a stranger to Jesus.
- The natural is an enemy if the spiritual.
- Don't confuse trouble with disapproval.
