Across various churches there is a tendercy that the elderly especially elderly women (because the are more vocal than men) tend to believe that half of the problems they have to deal with or sort out is because of the youths in their churches. Most of them tend to think these youths need more of Jesus because their way of life is off. As such there is always some form of tension or tag od war between the youths and "wazee wa Kanisa"-elders of the church.
But thank God for Paul.
Because in Titus chap 2 we learn that all age groups needs Jesus and has room for improvement. No age group is better. The elders may have the adv of experience but it doesnt mean they need Jesus less or are perfect. All age group need to do better in their diverse roles but in oneness and unity for the growth of both the young and old.

Welcome to this month Bible Study. Titus is the book we are focusing on. Today we begin with Titus chap 1.
Lesson 1- Jesus is the Truth. So if you dont have Jesus.....

"What if" question we ask ourself that inspire fear, is what holds us back. But what if we adopt a positive attitude and ask what if I make it and eventually it works. Wont it be worth it.
We should never allow fear to hold us back. But let faith in God be our guide.
Think about it

Today we look at chapter 6 as we mark the end of this month Bible Study Eddition untill next month when we meet again to finish off the book of Ester.
Chapter 6 continues the same night as chapter 5. Harman is determined to kill Mordecai but His plans fail and he falls into his own ditch.
In Ester chapter 5.
The plan is being executed. This shows us that after praying we should spring to action. Faith without action is dead.
However it cautions that, before embarking on anything, or after realsing there is a problem. The first thing to do, even before proceeding to problem solving stage. The firts thing to do is to pray so that God is involved right from the begining and not just when things get tough.
Smtimes we go to God when problems have overwhelmed us and our solutions fail. But in Ester 5 we learn to go to God before we start looking for solutions.
Hello there and praise God.
This being the last week of the month, its that time for bible study and we are continue with the book of Ester.
Today we look at Ester chapter 4.
I hope you will be blessed.

In this century we live in. Most of have mentors whom we look up to and who guide us in various aspect of our lives. I cannot emphasize enough the need and importance of mentors in our lives.
This is why you need to listen to this podcast. This man's life is inspirational to say the least. There is so much to learn and so much encouragment to get from his life.
Do you ever look at God's promises and your current situation and you wonder, how on earth!!
To make matters worse, individual seasons that God takes you through dont even seem to correlate. The seasons just dont link with each other leave alone have any relation to God's promise or purpose in your life.
Do you perhaps think, this is the first time or you are the first person to think so? Well No.
Right from the Bible, there are certain times when individual events did not make sense in relation to their end goal,e.g Joseph imprisonment,Saul's Beef with David,Moses frustration with the children of Israel seemed to have nothing with the promised Messiah untill several years later a man called stephen put the pieces together.
Trust me, what you think does not make sense right now or seems to have zero correlation will fit perfectly into the entire puzzle, when the time is ripe and right.
What comes to your mind when you think of false scales.

Iisten to this and correct yourself.
Pride in the current world has been given a diffrent defination than what the Bible says.

I dont want to ask who are your friends? You already know them.
Rather
My question is
What type of friendships do you brew.
Because
We are so used in playing the victims in friendships we forget we too are shareholders in those friendships.
"they" are bad company so "they" spoilt me.
My friends are unfair-in other words am the victim.
Yet it takes two tangle.
You must have done somthing to contribute to the environment of your friendship.
So what type of friendship are you brewing.
As a christian, we should be brewing friendships that build and sharpen each other. This requires a condusive environment such as honesty.
Hope this podcast helps us to reflect on our friendships and the environment we are brewing.
