We recognized Coach Matt Nagy's mismanagement of Justin Fields, in addition to his questionable play calling throughout the contest. We also criticized the lack of defensive prowess that the Bears showcased in primetime. Moving forward, Nick and I channeled positive energy heading to Sunday's home opener against the Bengals of Cincinnati. We both expressed confidence in the Bears, and their ability to tighten the reins defensively in order to muster up a victory at Soldier Field. Additionally, we clamored for the proper utilization of Allen Robinson in the open green space downfield. While giving proper credit to Joe Burrow and his offensive arsenal, Nick and I managed to predict a win for our beloved Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon!

I predicted that TB12 and the Bucs will take advantage of their hometown crowd and earn the franchise's second Super Bowl victory. On the other hand, Nick believed that Patrick Mahomes & Co. will overpower the stifling Bucs' defense, and defend their title on the road!

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen previewed Sunday's astronomical NFC and AFC Championship matchups! We expressed our desire for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to defeat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, but recognized that Aaron Rodgers & Co. are playing an extremely dominant brand of football. I predicted that Tom Terrific and the Bucs will upset the hometown crowd in Ashwaubenon, whereas Nick believed that the Packers will continue down the path to Super Bowl LV. In regards to the AFC Championship, we paid the utmost respect to Josh Allen and his Bills, but ultimately agreed that if Patrick Mahomes takes the field, it will be a repeat success for Chiefs Kingdom.

Nick and I also mentioned that this NFC North battle could be Mitchell Trubisky's last in a Chicago Bears' uniform, but ultimately agreed that he will most likely return next season, especially if he helps cross the postseason threshold for the second time in three years. Lastly, we reiterated our disdain for Matt Nagy, and expressed that he does not belong as a head coach in the National Football League.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen recapped a unique Thursday Night Football contest between division rivals in the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, both of which are vying for a playoff spot! We expressed our disappointment in the incompetent special teams play of the Titans, as they gave up a blocked punt for a touchdown, and made several other detrimental blunders. Nick and I longed for a more competitive battle between these two teams, but recognized that Tennessee's offense was far from its sharpest form. I gave credit to Nyheim Hines for scoring twice out of the backfield, and mustering up 100+ yards from scrimmage. Lastly, we looked ahead to our beloved Chicago Bears' primetime matchup against the Vikings on Monday night.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen took a deep dive into Part One (Spots 1-5) of our Week 8 NFL Power Rankings! There was a considerable shift in my top five, as the Bears dropped out of the conversation entirely with their most recent loss. The Pittsburgh Steelers secured the top spot on my list, as they are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL. Nick stayed true to his instincts from last week, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to hold the coveted #1 spot with a 6-1 record. This decision came easily for Nick, as the Chiefs earned a convincing victory in the snow at Mile High Stadium on Sunday. I was able to provide the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with tremendous praise after Tom Brady's five-touchdown performance against Las Vegas! We recognized that this contest will be a defensive battle, as these teams have squared off in very low-scoring affairs these past two seasons. We also emphasized the importance of Nick Foles evading Aaron Donald at all costs, as he is the most dominant force in the National Football League. I mentioned how this Bears' defense has been able to clamp down on the Rams over the course of their past two matchups, allowing just 23 total points. We felt confident that the Bears will propel themselves to a 6-1 record and secure the top spot in the NFC on Primetime Monday Night Football!

Nick ranked our beloved Chicago Bears as the sixth best team in all of football, which was astonishing, as he tends to be more conservative about this team's success. Nick and I also gave a tremendous amount of credit to the Buffalo Bills' offense, as the connection between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs has been unfathomable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed devising the most accurate power rankings as humanly possible, because it's imperative to respect the teams that don't receive the shine they deserve through other media outlets!

We praised the Bears' defensive efforts led by none other than Eddie Jackson, as he had a forced fumble, and what should have been an interception for a touchdown. Nick also recognized Roquan Smith for his 12 total tackles on the day, solidifying himself as one of the top tier linebackers in the NFL. We are genuinely elated by this team's performance through six weeks, as the defense has held opponents to an average of just 19 points per game! The Chicago Bears are Kings of the North with a 5-1 record!

We recognized the respectable performances by Teddy Bridgewater as of late, and understood Chicago's opportunity for redemption after last year's debacle when Bridgewater started in place of an injured Drew Brees. Moving forward, I shared my great desire for Nick Foles to dominate on another level throughout the entire contest, and longed for his ability to connect with Jimmy Graham. Nick and I also harped on the importance of a well-balanced offense for the Bears, as they need to incorporate David Montgomery at a higher clip. Lastly, we sparked up some fresh, bold predictions, and guaranteed that the Bears will move to 5-1 on the season with a road victory down in Charlotte!

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen marveled at the Los Angeles Lakers earning their 17th NBA Championship in franchise history! Nick was able to share his excitement for LeBron James winning his fourth ring and Finals MVP with a third team. He also put a tremendous amount of respect on LeBron's legacy as one of the greatest basketball players to ever lace up a pair of sneakers. Overall, we were happy to see the Lakers be crowned NBA Champions, as Rajon Rondo and Dwight Howard were able to rejuvenate their careers and make a remarkable impact on this team. Nick is now a 4x NBA Champion as LeBron James' most loyal supporter since 2003!

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen discussed the Cubs likely earning a quick Wild Card Series victory over the Miami Marlins, and we also took a deep dive previewing the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers!
Nick and I predicted a 2-0 sweep by the Cubs, as aces Kyle Hendricks and Yu Darvish will be comfortable on the mound in Wednesday and Thursday's contests. We recognized that the batting order staying alive is crucial for the Cubs to advance in this unique Postseason.
Moving forward, we enjoyed a great discussion about the storylines in the 2020 NBA Finals, as LeBron James will be taking on his former team in the Miami Heat, with which he earned his first two NBA Championships. Nick and I both agreed that despite the grit and desire of this young Heat team, it will be a runaway 4-1 Finals victory for the Lake Show.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen launched into a discussion following two remarkable NBA Playoff games inside the Bubble! We praised the Miami Heat for earning an overtime victory over the Boston Celtics in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals. I recognized the fearless leadership by Jimmy Butler that has driven this team in a positive direction throughout the NBA Playoffs, and how the intensity has translated across the board in players like Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. Nick mentioned the tenacity of Goran Dragic, and his crucial scoring outburst that helped put Miami in position to win.
Moving forward, I provided very much warranted criticism of the LA Clippers, as they once led the series 3-1 over the Denver Nuggets, but ended up losing the matchup entirely at the hands of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokić. Nick and I marveled at Denver's dynamic duo, and how the Nuggets were able to win their first two series in seven games a piece! On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided a full breakdown of our fantasy football starting lineups ahead of the season starting on Thursday! We shared our tremendous passion for fantasy football by adding in-depth analysis to each position grouping for our respective squads. As part of an eight-man fantasy league, my team (King Henry's Ironmen) was drafted to accommodate the points per reception format. It includes a powerhouse trio at the wide receiver position between Davante Adams, Allen Robinson, and Keenan Allen at the flex. I was also able to snag Derrick Henry late in the first round, hence the homage to the reigning rushing leader of the NFL.
Moving forward, Nick's team (The ChOSEN Ones) was considerably well-balanced across all positions, as he led off with Ezekiel Elliot, one of the most consistent backfield contributors in all of football. He also had an affinity for Arizona Cardinals players, as his quarterback (Kyler Murray) and RB2 (Kenyan Drake) are at the forefront of the Arizona offense. Overall, we were over the moon about sharing our successful draft picks, and look forward to incorporating more fantasy discussion throughout the 2020 NFL season!

I mentioned faith never being lost on Mitch, and that he has earned the respect of every teammate in the Bears' locker room over his past three seasons in the league. Nick and I were both fired up because it is time to fully unleash Mitchell Trubisky onto the world, and we felt confident that the Bears will handle business in Detroit next Sunday! On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, I was joined by an extremely special guest in Robert Iler! Rob is famously known for his portrayal of A.J. Soprano in The Sopranos, one of the most iconic television shows in American history. I was absolutely thrilled to have him on as a guest, considering the fact that I am a Sopranos fanatic, as well as an avid listener of his podcast titled Pajama Pants!
We enjoyed an in-depth discussion on his acting career, and how he was able to play an integral role in such an important series in American society. He recognized the remarkable actors around him for a decade on The Sopranos, marveling at the work ethic of his on-screen parents, James Gandolfini and Edie Falco. We also discussed the parallels in A.J.'s life that were interconnected with Rob's as he essentially grew up right before the eyes of a massive audience. I managed to sneak in my favorite scenes of his throughout the series, and asked about the tight-knit relationships of the entire cast.
Moving forward, Rob and I spoke on the friendship that he and Jamie-Lynn Sigler formed over the past 20+ years, and how they've been able to transition as co-hosts on Pajama Pants, all while considering each other family. I was also fascinated by the friendship that Rob and Kassem G have built, and how Kassem meshes so effortlessly within the dynamic of their podcast. Lastly, Rob passionately expressed his long history of sports gambling, and told astonishing stories of his success at the World Series of Poker. On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen highlighted three contentious matchups that are set to tip-off over the weekend, following this short hiatus from Playoff competition! We gave our predictions for two Western Conference battles that are heading into Game 6 of their respective series, which included Clippers vs Mavericks and Nuggets vs Jazz. Nick and I both hoped for Denver to earn a victory this weekend in order to go the distance in this series. I felt very confident that Los Angeles would have no trouble cruising past Dallas to advance to the second round, especially with Luka Dončić not being completely healthy. Once again, Nick longed for a Game 7, and was hopeful that Luka could find a way to unite his rag-tag group for a series-tying win!
Moving forward, we provided analysis on the second round Eastern Conference battle between the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. I shared high praise for Toronto, as it is the reigning NBA Champion, and felt as though it is the team that can take down the almighty Bucks later on in the Playoffs. Nick recognized the remarkable guard trio for Boston, and sparked a storyline between these two immensely talented backcourts as they kick off the second round of play!

We recognized the revolution that the Bucks players started, as other teams followed suit in protest of the wrongful mistreatment of Black people by police officers in this country. We also applauded the Bucks for blazing a trail for other sports franchises to take part in the powerful movement. Ultimately, Nick and I were both unsure as to where the NBA goes from here, and we understood the possibility that the remainder of this season could be canceled outright.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen recapped Tuesday night's NBA action, which included the Denver Nuggets fighting back and a dominant 43-point victory by the Los Angeles Clippers!
We marveled at Nikola Jokić's perfect performance in the first quarter, as he connected on all eight field goal attempts for 21 points. I was most astounded by The Joker's ability to hit five three-pointers in the first quarter of play, and remained confident in my stance that he is the most remarkable center in the game of basketball.
Moving forward, Nick and I discussed the Clippers' historic night, as they scored 154 points in a must-win Playoff game over the Mavs! We were both astonished by the team's ability to get everyone involved, shooting 63 percent from the field as a unit. I recognized Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as the driving forces to victory for LA, as they combined for 67 points. Nick was thoroughly disappointed in Luka Dončić's outing, but also put blame on the role players for Dallas. He longed for a seven-game series, but will most likely not be seeing one in this matchup because the Clippers are firmly in control after last night.

Nick and I both agreed that Los Angeles is poised for a Championship run, as the team is finally connecting as a whole unit, and allowing everyone to get involved on the scoreboard. I mentioned that the Lakers looked well rested throughout a 135-point game with a 20-point margin of victory. Lastly, we paid respect to the Miami Heat as it swept the Indiana Pacers in a series that was primed to be far more competitive.

We recognized the remarkable impact he has on each game, and how every opponent has to specifically game plan for his outstanding defensive prowess. Moving forward, Nick shocked me to the ends of the earth with his final pick of Aaron Rodgers to round out the Top 10. I mentioned that Rodgers has shown a decline in production, and that Nick was most likely pandering to our audience in adding the Packers' QB to the back end of this list. We thoroughly enjoyed this discussion, and are looking forward to the commencement of the 2020 NFL season in just three weeks.

I was astonished to hear that Nick left multi-faceted tight end George Kittle off of his top five, considering the high praise we both gave him just two weeks ago. Instead, Nick recognized the most consistent quarterback over the past several years in Russell Wilson, who was much further down on my list. We agreed that dual-threat talent was crucial in the deciding factors of this list, so Christian McCaffrey and Lamar Jackson belonged in this prestigious company. On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen recapped two astonishing NBA Playoff games, as both #1 seeded teams fell in Game One of their first round matchups!
We shared our opinions on the embarrassing loss by the Milwaukee Bucks against the Orlando Magic, as Milwaukee was favored by 13 points before tip-off, but instead lost outright by 12. We recognized Nikola Vucevic carrying Orlando across the threshold with 35 points on 63 percent shooting. We noticed that Giannis Antetokounmpo came ready to dominate in the Playoffs, but his teammates were missing in action!
Moving forward, Tuesday night's primetime matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trailblazers surpassed its potential for competitiveness, but the outcome left Nick in complete disarray. We both pointed out the lackluster shooting performance by Anthony Davis, as well as LeBron James forcing his passes where they couldn't be reached by any of his teammates. I gave all respect to Damian Lillard for another remarkable night from the field, connecting on 34 points and a major upset to boot. Lastly, we were both in awe of this unprecedented victory, and agreed that this will continue to be a hard-fought battle for both franchises!

In breaking down Donovan Mitchell's historic 57-point showcase, we recognized that the Jazz will struggle to be competitive in this series if it cannot pull off a victory despite such a remarkable scoring outburst. I also gave high praise to Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokić, as they combined for 65 points, leading Denver to a win.
Moving forward, we were both able to highlight some of Tuesday's wildly exciting matchups that incorporate some unique storylines. I became passionate about the series between Miami and Indiana, as Jimmy Butler and TJ Warren will likely continue their squabbling on the floor. Nick looked forward to Chris Paul and the Thunder dominating the villainous Houston Rockets led by James Harden.
Lastly, Nick and I shared tremendous enthusiasm for a series that could be the highlight of all first round matchups between the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trailblazers! Nick, of course, exuded confidence in a well-rested LeBron, and explained that LA is just too talented offensively for Portland to handle in a Playoff series. On the other hand, I hoped for the ever-outstanding scorer in Damian Lillard to carry his team once again. Overall, we are enamored with this matchup as two NBA icons in Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James will go toe to toe in Playoff contention!

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen previewed the first night of the 2020 NBA Playoffs! We highlighted all four matchups, starting with the early afternoon game between the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz. We also predicted which teams will win each of these first four series, and by how many games. Nick was most excited about the East Coast battle between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers, as he shared insight on the always dominant Joel Embiid. My favorite matchup included that of the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks. I praised Kawhi Leonard for his championship pedigree, while also recognizing the offensive power between Luka and Kristaps on the Mavs. The second set of our first round predictions will be shared on Tuesday's episode. Competitive basketball has finally returned!

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen were happy to recognize another week where the Chicago Cubs are leading the National League, as they currently sit with a 13-3 record! We shared that the Cubs managed to sweep Cleveland after an entire weekend without play, due to the coronavirus problem within the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
Moving forward, we discussed back-to-back massive contract extensions for the NFL's most dominant tight ends in George Kittle and Travis Kelce! I expressed my excitement for Kittle, as he is deserving of this monster deal, given his leadership role in San Francisco. On the other side of the coin, I felt as though Kelce may not play for another six years in the NFL. Nick was confident that Kelce will play until 37 years of age, but of course will have shown some decline on the field toward the back end of this deal.

On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, I was joined by a very special guest in Steven Cheah of Barstool Sports! Steven is the host of Barstool's wildly successful NFL podcast known as Going Deep, and is most known for his Tampa Bay Buccaneers fandom.
Steven shared his background at Barstool Sports, where he was originally hired to manage ad operations. He eventually forged a role in audio production on The Yak, which led to him hosting a podcast with Super Bowl Champion Willie Colon, all while continuing to fulfill his responsibilities on Barstool's business end.
Moving forward, we took a deep dive into the overall outlook on the 2020 season for the Buccaneers, factoring in the newly acquired duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski! Steven shared his excitement about the overload of offensive weapons in Tampa Bay, and provided an expectation of 10 or 11 wins that could propel the Bucs into a wild card playoff position. He also exuded confidence in the young Tampa Bay defense with standouts like Shaq Barrett and Vita Vea. Lastly, Steven gave an outside perspective on my beloved Chicago Bears, as they are currently enduring a quarterback battle. He gave tremendous insight in reference to the Bears being in "Win Now" mode, considering the endless Pro Bowl talent on the defensive end. On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen shared the back half (Spots 6-10) of our Top 10 NFL Cornerbacks discussion! I finally mentioned Jalen Ramsey as one of the league's top cornerbacks at the seven spot, which was a wide margin between Nick selecting him at two. There was some contention around Jaire Alexander being added to my list, as Nick called my Bears fandom into question.
Moving forward, Nick eventually brought Kyle Fuller into the fold, but recognized a lack of production last season, which was out of character considering his All-Pro bid in 2018. Nick rounded out his list with a legend of the game in Patrick Peterson of the Arizona Cardinals, despite his clear decline over the past couple years.

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen shared Part One of our Top 10 NFL Cornerbacks discussion! I incorporated some remarkably talented players that don't necessarily have the most name recognition, but their production is unfathomable. My first overall cornerback recently became a household name since joining the New England Patriots, and that was none other than reigning Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore! I was also able to recognize a wildly underrated cornerback in Kyle Fuller at the five spot, as he has made back-to-back Pro Bowls for the Chicago Bears.
Moving forward, Nick managed to have Jalen Ramsey extremely high up on his list at the two spot. I argued that Ramsey's production has been nonexistent the past two seasons, but he is such a polarizing figure in the NFL that he is always in the conversation to be a top cornerback. Outside of Gilmore, Nick and I shared Tre'Davious White as the only other player that was in both of our top fives. We marveled at his capabilities on the basketball court at just 21 years old. We also recognized the New Orleans Pelicans being eliminated from playoff contention at the hands of Derrick White and the San Antonio Spurs.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen recapped two outstanding NBA matchups from Thursday afternoon, as well as discussed battles at the quarterback and wide receiver positions inside Halas Hall! We highlighted an all-time performance by Bogdan Bogdanovic of the Sacramento Kings, as he converted six times from downtown and scored a career-best 35 points against the Pelicans. We also paid respect to the Milwaukee Bucks, as they came back from a 17-point deficit at halftime to earn a double-digit victory over the Heat.
Moving forward, we took a deep dive into Chicago Bears' Training Camp, focusing on the quarterback competition between Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles. We both agreed that Trubisky is the better option to be under center for the Bears, as he has the utmost support from teammates on either side of the ball. We also recognized that Trubisky will not be satisfied in a backup role, whereas Foles has spent the majority of his career in that position. Lastly, we shared opinions on the log jam at wide receiver for the Bears, as there are three talented players fighting for one spot on the active roster. We are devoted to Javon "Juice" Wims making the team because he has shown far more capabilities on the field than Riley Ridley, who has been riddled with injuries.

On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen highlighted the Chicago Cubs being the first National League team to earn 10 wins on the season! We also compared them to another midwest team in the Minnesota Twins, as they are atop the standings in the American League with an identical record.
Moving forward, we both shared our favorite impact performers thus far in the NBA Bubble. I gave Michael Porter Jr. the credit he deserves, as he has stepped up tremendously on the scoring end to lighten the load of Nikola Jokic. Nick gave high praise to Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, as they are undefeated in the Bubble, and continuing to work toward a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen rounded out our Top 10 NFL Tight Ends lists! I provided a mix of younger talent and old heads that still have plenty of juice left in the tank. My favorite selection from picks 6-10 was Greg Olsen of the Seattle Seahawks, as he will create a remarkable connection with QB Russell Wilson. I also paid respect to the newest Cleveland Browns' tight end Austin Hooper because of his tremendous production year after year.
Moving forward, Nick continued the charge of young tight ends with a great deal of potential in the coming seasons. He gave high praise to Evan Engram of the New York Football Giants, and somehow managed to keep Rob Gronkowski from his list entirely. Overall, this was one of our most unique discussions, considering the heavy contrast in players on each list.

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided the first half of our respective Top 10 NFL Tight Ends lists! Per usual, we somehow managed to have four of the same tight ends within the top five, and they were also ranked in the same order. We both tipped our caps to George Kittle, as he secured the #1 overall ranking for a tight end because of his outstanding catching ability that pairs well with his ever-burning desire to block defensive linemen into the dirt. It was difficult for Nick and I to put Travis Kelce in the #2 spot because he is one of the greatest catching tight ends the game of football has ever seen, but Kittle is a more complete package on the field.
Moving further down the line, we disagreed with one player in the Top Five, and that was my selection of Rob Gronkowski at the #4 spot. He is undoubtedly considered to be the most successful tight end in NFL history, but Nick was convinced that he may have lost a step since taking a season off in 2019. Instead, Nick went with a young buck in Mark Andrews of the Baltimore Ravens, who burst onto the scene last year with 10 touchdowns and impeccable hands. Tune in to find out which tight ends fell into our 3rd and 5th spots, as they are identical selections. We absolutely enjoyed creating these lists, and look forward to sharing Part 2 (Spots 6-10) on Wednesday's episode to round out the tight end position!

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen shared excitement about the Cubs being atop the National League standings with an 8-2 record! We also discussed the ongoing COVID-19 crisis within Major League Baseball, as the series between the Cardinals and Brewers was postponed over the weekend due to members of the Cardinals organization testing positive for the virus. Moving forward, we highlighted major moments in the NBA from this past weekend, including the Bucks' first game back, as Giannis played a nearly perfect offensive game with 36 points. We also covered the Toronto Raptors' domination of the Lakers, which came at the hands of Kyle Lowry scoring 33 points, 15 of them from downtown. Lastly, we looked forward to another massive week in sports, as NFL Training Camp is underway!

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen shared a positive conversation following the first night of NBA action down in the Orlando Bubble! We recapped both of the exciting Western Conference matchups from Thursday night. Nick and I were amazed by Brandon Ingram's ability to score the ball at will for the New Orleans Pelicans, as well as the Jazz starting five working together as a unit to squeeze out a two-point victory. Moving forward, we discussed the battle for Los Angeles between the Lakers and Clippers. We marveled at Paul George's offensive performance that allowed the Clippers to hang tight throughout the entire game, as he was able to connect six times from beyond the arc. Ultimately, we recognized that both secondary stars for each team led the way, as Anthony Davis was on a tear scoring the ball while LeBron struggled all night. We were genuinely astonished by the quality basketball performance in both games, as these teams hadn't come together for true competition in four months! As expected, Nick was ecstatic to mention LeBron James coming in the clutch when it mattered most, as he connected on a layup with 12 seconds left in the ball game. Overall, it was a remarkable night in the Association, and we look forward to next week when NFL will be added into the mix of discussion.

On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen expressed our excitement for the NBA's relaunch inside the Orlando Bubble! We provided opinions on Thursday night's Western Conference powerhouse matchups in Jazz vs Pelicans and the ultra-contentious Clippers vs Lakers showdown. We mentioned the possible rift within the Jazz locker room between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, but ultimately recognized the team's desire to make a playoff run. In sharing the hype around rookie phenom Zion Williamson, I predicted the Pelicans would pull off the night's first victory, whereas Nick rolled with the Jazz.
Moving forward, we discussed the marquee matchup between the Clippers and Lakers, and how it will be a tremendously hard fought battle from both sides. Without Lou Williams in the lineup for the Clippers, Nick and I both predicted a close victory for the Lake Show, led by a determined LeBron James. And so begins the Orlando restart!

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided spots 6-10 of our respective Top 10 NFL Running Backs lists, building off of Tuesday's discussion! We both shared some unique names, ultimately straying away from our "What have you done for me lately?" mantra when it comes to the NFL. I managed to have newly minted Atlanta Falcon Todd Gurley rounding out my Top 10, and Nick confidently placed current New York Jet Le'Veon Bell at the seven spot in his list. We both paid respect to their remarkable careers, and were hopeful to see resurgent seasons for these future Hall of Famers in 2020! We also picked Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders after just one year in the league, as we could not rationalize someone of his talent and production level being any lower than 10. Nick was astonished that I did not have Nick Chubb on my list because he was more productive than Josh Jacobs last season, but I did not feel confident that a Cleveland Browns running back could sustain success for much longer. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed devising these lists ahead of NFL Training Camp 2020!

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided the first half of our respective Top 10 NFL Running Backs lists! We managed to have four of the same running backs within the top five, but they did not fall in the same order. I paid the ultimate respect to Christian McCaffrey of the Carolina Panthers, as he is the epitome of a dual-threat running back in the NFL. Nick's highest ranking running back was the face of the New York Football Giants in the unbreakable Saquon Barkley. I could not rationalize Saquon holding the top spot, as he regressed and fell to injuries during the 2019 season. For the most part, we had similar selections, but I would not budge on McCaffrey being the league's most versatile and reliable weapon. To round out my top five, I made a contentious pick in last year's breakout star, Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers. This was because of his explosiveness and lack of recognition around the league. Nick rounded out his top five with the highly decorated and versatile Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints. We thoroughly enjoyed creating these lists, and look forward to sharing Part 2 (Spots 6-10) on Wednesday with some unique talents at the running back position!

We marveled at the complete game pitched by Kyle Hendricks on Opening Night, where he managed to reel in nine strikeouts with his wicked changeup. We recognized Ian Happ as the series MVP for his go-ahead home run on Friday, along with a remarkable outfield ivy grab during Sunday afternoon's slugfest where the Cubs earned their second win of the season, ultimately beating out the Brewers 2-1 on the series.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen were joined by our great friend Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to share expectations on the Brewers vs Cubs opening series at Wrigley Field! We opened with complete excitement revolving around the return of baseball in America. We discussed the inconsistency that both the Brewers and Cubs have in their pitching rotations, and how it does not bode well for this shortened MLB season. Moving forward, Nick and I expressed confidence in the Cubs' All-Star laden batting lineup that will allow them to stay alive throughout this sprint of a 60-game season. We also touched on the unique opportunity for the NL Central to have three teams make it to postseason play, considering the expanded format in 2020. Lastly, Nick and Curt provided several other series they are tuning into during MLB's Opening Weekend, which included Mariners vs Astros, Angels vs Athletics, and Braves vs Mets. It was an action-packed show to take our listeners into a remarkable weekend in sports!

We discussed Mookie Betts and his agreement to stay with the LA Dodgers for an additional 12 years on a contract worth $365 Million. We expressed our elation for Betts, as he is very much deserving of a top tier deal in Major League Baseball. Moving forward, we provided insight on the Opening Day matchup between the New York Yankees and defending World Series Champion Washington Nationals! Nick and I both expressed support for the Nationals, as they look to start their season with a statement victory at home. Lastly, we gave our division winner predictions across the American and National Leagues. We both selected some unique franchises to make the postseason, including the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets. We also couldn't leave out our beloved Chicago Cubs, considering this year's DH opportunity for Kyle Schwarber. Sports have officially returned!

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided the beginning of our respective Top 10 NFL wide receivers lists! Our top five receivers in the league were eerily similar, as we had four of the same players within that portion of the list regarding these world-class athletes. Nick was disappointed with how accurate my top five spots were, as I usually tend to throw in some wild cards, but ultimately, he respected the research that went into devising the list as a whole. Nick managed to sneak in one of his favorite players around the league at the five spot in Odell Beckham, even after there have been a tremendous amount of questions revolving around his character and dedication to the game of football.
This conversation was part one of a remarkable idea by Nick, as there have been many discussions recently about the league's top players, especially with Madden ratings being released last week. Part two of our incredible wide receiver debate will air on Wednesday, where our last five selections get very interesting and contentious! Stay tuned.

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen shared the recent "We Want To Play" initiative devised by NFL players as training camp rapidly approaches. We discussed the concerns of players wanting to have a plan in place when it comes to their health and safety during these unprecedented times, as the NFL has provided no insight on protocols. We both agreed on the importance of players not being left in the dark on such a crucial matter, considering that they are the product on the field every Sunday. Moving forward, we talked about the possibility of there being no preseason games in the NFL this year, and what it would look like for teams like the Bears that need time for further development. Ultimately, we are optimistic that the NFL will lay out terms early on this week, and the season will move forward as planned, especially considering the current green light status of MLB and the NBA.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen rounded out the week with a unique discussion on Madden's newly released player ratings! We broke down several positions on the defensive side, which included the top players at pass rush, cornerback, and safety. We were both astonished that Bears' Pro Bowl cornerback Kyle Fuller did not crack the top 10 at his position, and was also only rated a mere 85 overall. Another secondary miscue by Madden was the ranking of All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson as only the 8th best at his position. We both agreed it was preposterous, given the fact that he is the epitome of on-field production, and a household name for most NFL fans.
Moving forward, we noticed some issues in backfield ratings on the offensive end, as Nick Chubb sat comfortably with a 92 overall. Lastly, the only confusion we had at the quarterback position was Aaron Rodgers sitting as the 6th best QB with an 89 overall rating, which is wildly inaccurate. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed in the Madden NFL 21 ratings.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen had an in-depth discussion about the contract extensions of defensive standouts Chris Jones and Myles Garrett! We both agreed that Jones was very well-deserving of his new deal, considering the unimaginable production rate he's reached over the past two seasons. In terms of Myles Garrett, I had my reservations about his character and leadership after last year's brawl against Pittsburgh, but Nick was certain that it was unusual behavior for the Pro Bowl defensive end. Moving forward, we touched on the mischief that has been occurring down in Orlando at the NBA's "Bubble", where players have broken quarantine protocols for takeout meals. We also shared positive energy toward Russell Westbrook, as he recently contracted the coronavirus. We expressed our hope that Russ will join the Rockets upon his clearance by the league.

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, I was joined by legendary NBA broadcaster Chuck Swirsky for a remarkable conversation about his time covering the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls over the course of 22 years. Chuck shared his fond memories of joining the Raptors' broadcast team at the beginning of Vince Carter's NBA career. Chuck marveled at Vinsanity's athletic capabilities from day one, and how he was able to transition his talents into becoming a complete, franchise player. Next, we discussed the relationship between Vince Carter and his cousin Tracy McGrady during their early days as teammates in Toronto. We also touched on Carter's exit out of Toronto, and how it was challenging for him and a young talent like Chris Bosh to mesh well on the court together.
Moving forward, we spoke in-depth about Chuck returning to Chicago at the right time in 2008 for the inception of Derrick Rose's NBA career. Ultimately, we reminisced on what could have been for the tremendously talented Bulls' team during the Derrick Rose Era, so long as the group had sustained health in the playoffs. Chuck shared with confidence that he believes if D-Rose did not tear his ACL in game one of the 2012 NBA Playoffs, that team had a great opportunity to reach the NBA Finals. Chuck exuded positive energy for the future of the Chicago Bulls, as they currently have so many young, gifted players on the roster. Lastly, we expressed a great deal of excitement for the Orlando "Bubble" restart, and the possibility of Joakim Noah becoming an NBA Champion with the LA Clippers!

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen stepped out of our comfort zones, and took a deep dive into this past Saturday's UFC event at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi! We discussed the main event matchup between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal for the welterweight title. We expressed our thoughts on Usman handily defending his title by using a great deal of wrestling tactics/takedowns. We both shared our disappointment in Masvidal, as he relied to much on his legs throughout the fight, showing a sluggishness in technique. Ultimately, we respected Usman's wire to wire domination, and careful use of defense in the octagon. Moving forward, Nick highlighted two additional fights that caught most fans by surprise, one of them being a disturbing bloodbath, and the other an upset over American fighter Max Holloway. Also, we mentioned our tremendous admiration and newfound fandom for the sport of mixed martial arts.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen continued our Top NFL Quarterbacks conversation from Thursday! Nick broke down some more talented QBs that just fell short of making his Top 10 List, which included a legend in Tom Brady, and Titans' breakout star Ryan Tannehill. I argued that Nick's placement of Brady at the #14 spot was disrespectful considering everything he's accomplished in his career, all while factoring in the remarkable weapons around him in Tampa Bay heading into the 2020 season.
Moving forward, we discussed the ceiling for Patrick Mahomes, as he has reached the mountaintop through just three seasons in the league. We both agreed that there's currently no ceiling for him and the Chiefs, but ultimately his contract extension could impact the team's ability to retain talent outside of the quarterback position in the future.

On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen provided our respective lists of the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL! Our top five quarterbacks were very similar, but the discussion became very contentious as we got toward the back half of the group. Nick managed to disrespect Tom Brady by leaving him out of his list, while I may have given the new leader in Tampa Bay too generous of a spot in today's NFL. Overall, these lists consist of our opinions based on pure talent and production in the modern era of football!

On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen discussed massive NFL news regarding Super Bowl Champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as he signed a 10-year contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night! We recognized this extension as the largest deal in the history of professional sports, considering its potential $503 million value over ten seasons. We both agreed that he's deserving of this astronomical money, given what he's been able to accomplish in just two years as a starting quarterback in this league. We also marveled at the fact that Mahomes is the first football player to be paid upwards of $40 million per year. Moving forward, we mentioned a possible return to the Super Bowl over the next few years, so long as the Chiefs are able to keep their other star players under contract. Lastly, we shared the opinion that Mahomes' contract will only drive up the market for other quarterbacks looking for long-term deals in the near future.

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen took a deep dive into the career of Joey Chestnut, following his 13th victory at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Saturday! We recognized the determination and physical exertion it took for Joey Jaws to break his own record of 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes, reaching a new world record of 75. We touched on his past shortcomings against other professional eaters like Matt Stonie and Takeru Kobayashi, and how he eventually became the greatest eater in world history. This conversation sparked a debate regarding our own eating capabilities under a time limit, which could eventually turn into a competition for the ages. Ultimately, we marveled at the complete and utter dominance that Joey Chestnut has been able to assert in the sport of professional eating over the past few decades.

On Friday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen sat down for an in-person recording, as Nick was back in the midwest for vacation. We discussed the Lakers officially signing veteran shooting guard J.R. Smith, and how he will add a tremendous amount of depth and bring his championship pedigree to a team with high aspirations. Next, we shared our opinions on the possible court layout for the Orlando restart, as there were some photos released of game courts sitting extremely close to one another. I expressed my concerns for player safety, and also logistics in terms of court time for each team's respective practices. We also marveled at the tremendous progress that was made by rookie phenom Zion Williamson over the quarantine period, as he dropped a great deal of weight, and looks ready for playoff contention. Moving forward, we expressed our excitement for MLB reporting to its spring training restart! There is a small window of time for players to get in sync with one another before the regular season, so we touched on the unique timetable. Lastly, we spent some time to recognize teams that will benefit from the shortened season, so long as the consistency is there in terms of hitting and driving in runs. On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen were joined by Max Acker for the second portion of our conversation, which consisted of NFC North predictions. We provided our opinions on which team will rise to the occasion, and ultimately secure a playoff spot from the NFC North division. Max had no reason to believe that his beloved Packers will regress this season, but did not seem convinced that they will get past the NFC Championship game. Moving forward, Nick and I expressed our confidence in the Bears' defense, but were both left with questions at the quarterback position. Lastly, we all provided insight on the division's top receivers, and gave a unified opinion that Davante Adams is most prominent between the four franchises.

On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen were joined by our good friend Max Acker to talk about the NBA and its unique position heading into July. We discussed the likelihood of a possible Finals matchup between the LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks, as Nick is a loyalist to LeBron & Co., and Max is a die-hard Bucks fanatic. Max expressed his confidence in the Bucks having somewhat of an easy road to the NBA Finals, as the rest of the Eastern Conference has not put up much of a fight throughout the regular season. Nick exuded confidence in the Lakers making it to the final stage of the playoffs, but was not completely sold on Milwaukee getting past teams like the reigning NBA Champion Toronto Raptors and the fiery Boston Celtics. Moving forward, we discussed the amenities available for players at their resorts in Orlando, which we all felt will not be the focal point for most individuals striving for an NBA Title. Lastly, we showed respect to Damian "Dame Time" Lillard, as he was recently named the cover athlete for NBA 2K21. We both agreed that a healthy Cam Newton that is given the keys to the kingdom, all while learning under the great minds of Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels, could pose as a tremendous playoff threat and contender down the road. Moving forward, we touched on the latest developments in the NBA, which included the league itself releasing its regular-season schedule for the Orlando relaunch. We marveled at the unique layout of potentially seven games per day, some of which tipping off as early as 11 AM. Lastly, we provided updates on the health status of NBA players as the restart inches closer, and expressed our appreciation for the league's initiatives to promote the Black Lives Matter movement.

On Monday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Usayd Koshul provided insight on the New England Patriots signing quarterback Cam Newton to a one-year contract. We shared our opinions on Newton being a tremendous fit for the Patriots, especially after losing Tom Brady to the Buccaneers. We also expressed that if Newton is able to stay healthy and on the field, he and the Patriots could make a deep playoff run, which would lead to no drought for the New England fanbase. Moving forward, Usayd and I took a deep dive into the quarterback competition in Chicago, following remarks from Bears' QB Coach John DeFilippo and veteran wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr., that ultimately suggested Mitch Trubisky has an edge to earn the starting spot. We both agreed that if Trubisky is set up for success between the coaching staff having confidence in him, and allowing for talent around the offense, he will remain QB1 of the Chicago Bears.

We talked about his executive order to operate the 2020 season starting on July 1st, with regular season games beginning on July 24th. I expressed caution about this plan because of a short timetable and the uncertainty of health amongst players. Moving forward, we discussed a horrific act that was committed against NASCAR's Bubba Wallace on Sunday. Fortunately, we were able to express positivity as Bubba was supported by all racers on Monday afternoon. We reflected on the powerful moment that occurred at Talladega, which included all participants walking in unity behind Wallace's car that was pushed to the front of the track before the first lap took place.

Moving forward, we focused on All-Pro safety Jamal Adams' trade request to leave the New York Jets, and hopefully join a contender. I marveled at the fact that he gave the Jets a shortlist of seven teams he might like to join, all of which have the potential to be playoff teams. On Thursday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen enjoyed a great discussion on the possibility of Colin Kaepernick making a return to the NFL. This discussion was sparked by Commissioner Roger Goodell's statement earlier this week showing support for teams to take a look at Kaepernick. We also focused on comments from Chargers' Head Coach Anthony Lynn mentioning the possibility of bringing Kaepernick in for a tryout. Lynn's words led us in the direction of discussing teams that could be a good fit for Kaepernick in a backup role, as he has been out of the league since the 2016 season. Moving forward, we provided an update on the MLB's latest proposal for the 2020 season, which included 60 regular season games and full prorated salaries for the players. We recognized that this was a step in a positive direction, but ultimately feel as though the players deserve more time on the baseball diamond.

Even though it was not what most people were expecting in terms of highlighting both players' remarkable seasons, we managed to enjoy the film. Moving forward, we marveled at a couple of astronomical contract extensions around the league for a couple of guys that are happy to stay with their teams out west for the long haul. Nick introduced a fun, new segment called the Harrison Barnes All-Paid Team, highlighting a "starting lineup" of guys that received ridiculously large contracts that may not have deserved them. These were the contracts we looked at and were appalled at the numbers, because of the lack of talent this group of players possesses. Lastly, we shared our winners and losers of free agency thus far, just two days into the open market. The New York Knicks clearly had some questionable signings, but there were a couple other teams that disappointed us as well. The big question still remains: Where will Kawhi Leonard land? Another shared moment was the Chicago Bulls acing their third consecutive 7th pick with the selection of Coby White. Moving on from memorable moments, we shared the surprises of the night, which were Nassir Little and Bol Bol taking their respective deep dives in the late-first round and mid-second round. Lastly, we covered the winners and losers of the draft as a whole. I came to the conclusion the New Orleans Pelicans took the cake as far as adding depth and star-power. On this week's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, Nick Osen joins the show for a Cubs vs. Brewers preview and an in-depth breakdown of the Final Four as the NCAA Tournament is nearing its end. We both expressed our disgust in the way the Cubs have started out the 2019 MLB season. I put out the positive energy heading into the weekend, as I will be down at Miller Park for two of the three contests between the Cubs and Brewers, hoping the Cubs can string a few wins together. Moving forward, both Nick and myself gave our Final Four predictions, and it was pretty clear that Nick has some bias toward the Virginia Cavaliers winning it all. Unfortunately, it has been a tough week in the entertainment world, as we lost LA legend Nipsey Hussle. I felt it was important for us to express our condolences to his family, and recognize such an influential person in the hip-hop industry and community of Los Angeles. Our thoughts are also with Matt Stafford and his family this week as it was announced that his wife is currently battling brain cancer. Not wanting to end on a bad note, I shared my support for Murray State's Ja Morant as he declared for the NBA Draft this week. I'm wishing nothing but success for him in the future. This week's episode of the Juice Time Podcast features two very special guests, with whom I had great conversations on my recent trip out to Colorado. Firstly, I chopped it up with a very good friend of mine, Casey Marksberry. We touched on a wide variety of topics such as friendship, his time as a collegiate athlete, his upcoming study abroad program, and his new passion in music. Casey spoke on the fun experiences he had as a quarterback at Colorado University. He also spoke honestly about his decision to leave the program to pursue other endeavors, like studying abroad in Europe this upcoming semester. Casey's lovely sister, Macy, joined us toward the end of the podcast to talk about their new song together titled: "Beautiful Ways". She also mentioned her upcoming live show in Castle Rock, Colorado, and how this is an exciting opportunity for her, as she hasn't performed live in a long time. This was by far and away one of my favorite episodes to record, as I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Casey's stories, as well as his and Macy's process of recording their new track together. Heading into the holiday weekend, myself and Nick Osen sat down for an extensive discussion strictly regarding the NFL, as regular season days are numbered. We spoke on the Bears excellent win over the rival Green Bay Packers to give them the title of NFC North Champions, and ultimately a spot in the NFL Playoffs. We moved right into mentioning the extensive list of Bears players that have earned the honor of being able to call themselves Pro Bowlers, and what it means for the four first-timers getting this very well deserved recognition. Staying on the topic of the Pro Bowl, we gave our pick for biggest Pro Bowl snub in Alvin Kamara. As the end of the season approaches, the NFL Awards are looming, and we went down the line with a very in-depth look at the possible winners of those high honors that showcase the league's finest players all across the board.
