To release judgements and free ourselves from the chains of anger and wanting revenge, is something that frees us to live a more fulfilled life. To let go is to forgive what has happened with the knowledge that everything happens for a reason and that there is a benefit even in difficult situations.
What’s more, this act of letting go and forgiving has been found to give us a wide range of benefits that include – physical benefits like better sleep, lower blood pressure, lower risk of heart disease and even an increased life expectancy.

So if we want to talk about poverty eradication we need to start the conversation about caring for one another and for our community.

Joining us in studio we had Mariane Akwenye the owner of the Nomad Day Spa which just recently won the Africa’s Best Day Spa award 2015 in the World Spa Awards. We were also joined by Michele Gregan a woman who sold her law practise to live a life she defines as fabulous.
Change can be scary because of the element of the unknown that comes along with change. However change is most certainly an opportunity, one that cannot be fully realized until you can bravely face the inevitable uncertainty. Change comes in many forms in our daily lives and how well we embrace change determines how well we can capture the opportunity change brings.

Self-Trust is reliance on your own character, ability, strength, and truth. While these are important values on which to build, most of us have spent our lives listening to the advice of others. We have been socialised to believe that we do not know what is best for ourselves and that others know what is best for us. This forms the root of distrust in one’s self which is the cause of much suffering in life.
