In week 20 of our series through Romans, pastor Eric showed us Paul's expectation for the church based on everything he has taught the Romans church to this point.

In week 3 of our Legacy series, pastor Michael and pastor Billy (lead pastor of Connection Church Vidalia) walked us through how important church planting is. At Connection Church Rincon, we believe healthy churches make healthy disciples, and healthy disciples make healthy churches.
In week 2 of our Legacy series, pastor Michael took us through Matthew 25:14-30 and taught on the importance of multiplication. At Connection Church Rincon, we believe in creating a legacy of multiplication!
In week 1 of our Legacy series, pastor Michael took us through John 15:1-8 and taught on how important discipleship is in the Church. We also rolled out the Legacy Initiative where we are trusting God to empower us to take the Gospel further than it's ever gone before.
On Easter, pastor Michael taught on the Good News of Christ's resurrection through Colossians 2:9-15.

In the third week of City on a Hill, Pastor Michael took us through 3 dangers that the Church faces from within. False teaching, false conversion and mission complacency.

In the twelfth week of our Come and See series we looked at the Resurrection of Jesus and what it meant for the life of Peter. The Resurrection meant that Jesus was who He said He was, that Peter's past didn't define him and that his future was secure in Christ.
In the 6th week of our Come and See series, Pastor Eric took us through John 12 where we see Jesus ending His earthly ministry and turning His attention to His inner circle to prepare them for His departure.
In the 5th week of our Come and See series, Pastor Michael took us through John 11:1-44, where we saw that through every circumstance of our lives, God is writing a story for His glory.
This week in our current series, Come and See we walked through John 9. Jesus' miracle in healing the blind man was really an illustration for the spiritually blind and a fulfillment of prophecy that the Messiah would come to open blind eyes.
In week three of Come and See, Pastor Michael took us through two encounters with Jesus that showed up that Jesus is the only "well" that will ever satisfy our soul.
In the second week of Come and See, Pastor Michael took us through what saving faith looks like and some of the obstacles that get in the way of true saving faith. A highlight of this sermon was that there is a faith that comes short of saving faith.

Philippians 2:1-11 shows us that because we are a new creation in Christ, we no longer look at people through worldly eyes. Serving should be a part of our every day life.

We are called to be faithful in prayer, faithful in our witness and faithful in our service to Jesus and His Church. As always the question is; are we living under Kingdom Culture as we following Christ?

God has given the opportunity to use our relationships to exalt Christ and give a clear picture of the Gospel to those around us. In the sixth week of the series Jesus in the Psalms, Pastor Eric Smith taught on the importance of understanding the Gospel and our place before God because of Jesus. He shared that because of Jesus we are no longer enemies of God and that we now get to join Him in taking His glory to all nations!
In the fifth week of our series Jesus in the Psalms, Jon Irvan, the Communications Pastor from Connection Statesboro taught from Psalm 69 on the importance of suffering well.
In the fourth week of our series Jesus in the Psalms, our church plant resident, Patrick O'Tuel taught from Psalm 51 on the importance of repentance and the neccesity of it in the life of a Christian.
In our third week of Jesus in the Psalms, Pastor Michael showed us that this Psalm is a conversation between Jesus and God. We learned what it takes to finish well and endure to the end and how we can practically do that. We do that by living with eternity in view, by being a living sacrifice and by fixing our eyes on Jesus.
This Sunday we heard from our Thailand Mission Team about all that God did while we were there. Pray that God would continue to open doors for us to reach the unreached!
In week 2 of the series Jesus in the Psalms, Pastor Michael unpacked Psalm 8 and what it means for our identity as people made in God's image. We have been made in God's image, sin has distorted our purpose, but Jesus has restored that purpose back to us and has fulfilled Psalm 8 for us.
