If you cannot take care of yourself then how can you help others. Example you work crazy hours to please the boss but your health deteriorates as a result. Work still goes on and you will be easily replaced. However the time you lost away from your family can never be returned. So make sure in life you are sometimes selfish but in a good way because in the long run everyone around you will understand and still respect and appreciate you. By education I don't just mean a degree but it could be any form of education. The key thing to remember is to always make sure you invest in yourself in order to move forward in life. Also make sure that the money you spend on this education has a good return on investment (ROI).

For some people that means make sure you take care of your body first by being healthy and thus you will get a healthy mind. For me it is the other way round as I believe that everything starts from there. Having a healthy mind allows you take on any challenges that life throws at you. That is why I follow the few steps I mention in the video to try and keep sane. Sometimes in life we get caught up in the #rat #race that we forgot to appreciate the little things in life. Like your health or the ability to be able to open your eyes every morning. So make sure you count your #blessings if you ever feel down as there are people who are less fortunate but still happier than you. If you are in a bad job you have two choices. Vote with your feet and leave or stay in the job and be grateful you are not homeless and can pay your bills and buy food. On a personal level make sure you are also appreciative with the time you spend with family as work will always be there. Peace and love

Here is my #Funky #friday shoutout A short and sweet one as currently on #holiday with the family in #beautiful France Time is of the essence is usually associated with legal and contract related terms and I like to use this terminology on a personal basis Thus my Friday advice is to make sure you take advantage of every moment of your time. Whether it be work, family or personal time just make sure that it is always on your terms. Enjoy life and until the next time

So today's message is one I try to practice everyday and I call it the Sky and Ceiling method. It is especially relevant in the context of work but use it for everything. E.g job promotion situation. Your boss comes up to you and offers a job opportunity that would give you more responsibilities, a better job title but on your existing salary!
For me in this scenario I would apply the Sky and Ceiling method. I would say yes I am happy to do the job but I need a 50% pay increase and also a new person to be hired who I will manage to do my old job. Sounds crazy right however your boss came to you & already had you in mind which puts you in a position of power. So leverage and. They may refuse your first offer and negotiate you down to 30% increase in pay and only offer a part time employee or an intern. However at least you are better off than before so by asking for the sky you got the ceiling and no longer on the ground. What happens if this backfires you ask? Think about it, what is the worst that can happen? You continue doing your existing job with the existing conditions. Therefore always go for it and ask for the Sky. Peace and Love

For those that do not what this is, it is basically an alternative therapy where one has blood taken from the body. There are different ways of doing this therapy and it has been practised for centuries and in some cases using leeches.
