Welcome to week five in our study of the book of Galatians.

The big question Paul asks this week, is how do we receive the blessing that God promised to Abraham. This is a big question, because the promised blessing to Abraham is about salvation, life, and the reversal of what happened in Genesis 3.

The good news is, no about of hardworking, achievement, or religious activity can earn you that blessing. Why is that good news? Because we receive that blessing through faith in Jesus. Not only does Jesus save us and bless us, He fills us with the promised Holy Spirit.

Welcome to week four of our study on the book of Galatians. This week we will discover that there are times in our lives where conflict is necessary. Some things are worth fighting for.

This week in Galatians we see Paul confront Peter and Barnabas, because their actions (led by fear) were out of step with the Gospel and leading others astray.

So what can we learn from this confrontation between Peter and Paul? Christ Followers can disagree on lots of things as they study the bible and live under freedom and grace. There is room for us to follow Jesus and do things differently. There are however times when conflict is necessary: when someone sins agains you (Matthew 18), when a brother or sister in Christ begins to walk in sin (James 5:19-20), or when someone changes the Gospel or essentials of the faith.

As we study Galatians 2:11-21, we are praying that the Holy Spirit would speak to you, and strengthen you in your relationship with Christ, and the way we live out our faith publicly.

Welcome to week three in our study on the book of Galatians. 14 years have passed since the end of chapter one, and we discover the the false teachers have taken their false teachings all the way back to Jerusalem. Paul uses Titus as a living example. Is Titus saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone? Or does Titus need more than Jesus to be saved, does he also need to become Jewish?

The good news of the Gospel is that we are saved completely and fully in Christ!

We also discover that while there is one Gospel, there are different ministry styles, especially as we take the Gospel to different people and cultures.

Welcome to week two of our Study on the book of Galatians. This week, as we study Galatians 1:11-24 we discover like Paul our story of transformation has power to share the gospel with people around us.

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. That means we cannot earn God's love or approval through works, religion, or moral uprightness. It also means no one is outside of God reach or forgiveness based on your past. God saves the religious and the rebellious, because He delights to do so.

Daniel is unlike any another book in the Bible. This book of Daniel is not set in Israel, but rather, is set in the heart of an enemy, hostile, pagan empire where God's people have been taken captive.

When most people think about Daniel, they think about the lions den, the fiery furnace, the writing on the wall, and some dreams and prophecy. The book of Daniel is actually about the faithfulness of God. While kingdoms rise and fall, we can be faithful to the One True God who rules over them all.

Because God is faithful, and rules over all kings and kingdoms, it is actually possible for us as His people to shine, thrive, and be faithful, in a dark and hostile world.

What if we are missing out by church hopping and church shopping all the time? This week, as we study 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, we discover that God has not called us to be spiritual lone rangers but rather to be members of the local church. What if belonging to a local church was actually good for your soul, enhances your walk with Jesus, and advances the mission and purposes of God?
