This week I have a quick update on how plasma donations from Covid 19 patients can help others overcome the virus. Thanks to Dr. Jed Gorlin, Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City for that information.
Then I had a chance to speak with Dr Bullard, Director of Clinical Services at Cottonwood Springs which is a behavioral health hospital in Olathe. They provide inpatient and outpatient treatment. She explained to me that this is a very difficult time for those with underlying mental health and addiction issues…those people who were functioning very well are now at a great risk of relapse.
