Lambing time if THE most intense time of the year for all farmers but equally the most rewarding , you have nurtured the ewes through the hard winter and got them to this point. It's such hard work and we begin lambing when the weather is usually dark and miserable and then slowly it becomes spring, so from full waterproofs and wellies and end lambing time in shorts and a vest, it's just INVIGORATING.

As it's international women's Day I thought I'd be stupid not to celebrate women in farming! I could spout on and on til the cows come home about how farming is a man's world and how it's so unfair but what good would come of that ?( Def have one of those on my IGTV!!)
