Many times our vision and beliefs are driven more by what's happening to us than the vision within us. Despite our challenges, we weren't built to fail in accomplishing all that God purposed for us to do. That said, how do we continue when things get hard, and how do we know we will overcome? Listen to the encouragement in this episode of The Merge Podcast.

Many examine the world around them as strangers & aliens rather than neighbors. Subsequently, the things we care about and get involved with is limited to what is best for us. The challenge is that if we have God with us as we live for him, should our circles of care expand beyond their current limits? Listen for today's encouragement.

Sometimes, we find ourselves trying to make sense of where we are or what’s going on. Consider that your contentment may be found within the circumstance itself, and Gods revelation about what you see. Check out this week’s encouragement. Enjoy

When things are familiar to us, we sometimes don't seek God's explicit help because we know what to do if things get out of hand…but when they indeed do get out of hand, it’s in those moments when we see that there is a distinction between “GOD GIVEN” ability and “GOD’s ABILITY” alone. I am convinced it’s in this place of “familiarity” where we do the most damage to ourselves by leaving God on the side lines and sometimes, God has to show you that his position is in the center, and your confidence must be in Him and not your own abilities.
Enjoy!

Have you ever found yourself trying to make sense of what seems like random events in your life, or you try to find the cause to difficult situations so you can make the necessary change to prevent their reoccurrence? Many of us have grown up reading stories of “happily ever after” where the hero comes thru unscathed, or never has a moment of uncertainty during the journey. But when we think of real life heroes and heroines like Martin Luther King Jr, John Kennedy, or Fannie Lou Hamer, their lives were actually filled with tremendous challenges and moments of doubt that don’t seem to fit the story of fearless leaders that we’ve come to know them by. I believe the road to being chosen or living a purposeful life is bound to be filled with twists & turns because it’s in those twists & turns that we find our own limitations & God’s power & purpose for us most clearly.
In this episode, we explore how to think about turns in the road. Enjoy
