Not more than a couple of days before Uber Canada's GM Ian Black came out as THE guy to answer frequently asked questions from drivers (partners), at a big Uber gathering at Toronto's City Hall, I told some of the Uber folks I thought their company was faceless. Coincidence? Maybe. I think it was a great move on their part. More recently, Uber was officially legalized in Toronto. A big victory for Uber AND for the city of Toronto!

I have a knack for attracting unwanted attention. I got into a heated discussion with a taxi driver at a City Hall Uber meeting and before you know it, a spokesperson from the taxi industry and his entourage of TV cameras had us in the spotlight. The taxi spokesperson picked a fight with me and things quickly escalated into an argument. My friends told me later they saw me on the six o'clock news!

It's important to stay well hydrated when you're driving, but this also means you may have to stop frequently to empty your bladder, not always an easy feet when your driving downtown Toronto.
