In today's episode, Kelsey, Sherry, and Sophia talk with some special guests, Joanna and Donna (socials will be in our instagram)! We talk about how we are all not 100% type A and type B people, but rather a mix of both. We also describe how quarantine has affected all of our lives, including scheduling, getting more free time, improving our mental health, and finding more things we genuinely like. One thing we truly want to emphasize is it is not fair to compare ourselves to other people with different backgrounds, traits, and environments. Enjoy! :)

In the second part of the episode, Kelsey and Janet go more into detail about the model minority, and trying to distinguish the difference between the model minority and actual Asian Culture. It seems to be a consistent pattern that Asians are taught not to speak up when put in certain situations. Kelsey goes more into detail about how those internalized values and the ongoing societal expectations of speaking up has been a struggle for a while. Janet talks more about the systemic racism and how that affects us w/o us even knowing. In the end of the podcast, we share our perspective on the anti-black sentiment in the asian community. Thank you for listening, and enjoy :)
In this weeks episode is a two part "series" of Asian American culture and general feelings about the hate crimes. In this specific episode, Kelsey and her cousin, Janet, talk a little bit about what the model minority is and how Asians got that role (and also how terribly it affects other races). We also briefly talk about the historical racism towards Asians. Not only that, we will go into more detail about how Asian culture has been treating us, especially about the struggles of being first generation Asian Americans. Thank you for listening :)
(TW talks about eating issues) In today’s episode, Kelsey and Sonia talked about our struggles with our body during quarantine. Whether that be food babies or fear of wearing crop tops, we both come to an agreement that we have given up on dressing nicely. We also talk briefly about our eating habits. Last but not least, this episode was just a nice mental check in for the both of us, but we are both mentally tired. Enjoy! :))
In today's podcast, Shavonne joins Sherry, Kelsey, Sophia, and Sonia to talk about her own racist experiences at school. We talk about what inspired her to take on her leadership roles, and her thoughts on performative activism. Internalized racism is real, and it is our responsibility to be aware of the discrimination people of color face. Privilege is real, and acknowledging you have this privilege is the first step to combatting racism. Some people just are not aware of what people of color face, so it is important to stay educated and learn.
On this weeks episode we discuss the growing divide in our nation. We talk about the inauguration, women’s rights, and everything social media and TikTok has done to impact our political views. Red or blue, democratic or republican, we urge everyone to do their own research and stay educated. Check it on Spotify @ Just Lost Podcast!

In this weeks podcast, we talk about the effects of always comparing ourselves to other people with extracurriculars. The pressure from colleges to figure out what we want to do in the future is exhausting for us. Sonia talks about hating the label put onto us from SAT scores, while Sophia talks about why she isn’t even taking the SAT this year. It is SUPER IMPORTANT to figure out what you personally love doing, but how are we suppose to figure this out in high school?
