The passion in creating a mix is real. I start with a song of choice and the uncharted journey takes me around the world in music; both past and present.
I had the grand opportunity to share my philosophical concepts about Art of The DJ Mix with a group of multi-discipline university professors from around the world. The session was created to encourage innovative techniques from a DJ's perspective that they can use in the classroom. Using the artform of DJing, a professor can remix, edit, and reimage their lesson plan to relate to the momentary needs of the of their earning environment.

Obituary for Deborah Green BradfordDeborah (Debbie) Green Bradford born Deborah Avern Ecklin, daughter ofthe late Eleanor (Noni) Ecklin-Walton and the late Roderick Thomas, wasborn June 7, 1955, in Waterbury, CT. Debbie attended the WaterburyPublic school system and then proceeded to get her high school diplomafrom Waterbury Adult Education. She then moved and settled intoOrlando, Florida, in 1987. At an early age, she developed a passion forplanting and gardening. Debbie had a green thumb and grew plants allover her house.Debbie met her first love Andrew Paris on Johnson St. in Waterbury, CTand together they were blessed with their loving daughter, StephanieMichelle Ecklin-Hope (her eldest child). In 1980, Debbie met and marriedher first husband who she loved dearly, the late Lawrence Green inBridgeport, CT and this loving union was blessed with one beautifuldaughter, Kwana Marie Green-Thompson.In 1992, Debbie met her second husband, Johnny Bradford. Debbieand Johnny shared a special love and lived in together for morethan 20 years in Orlando. Together they loved traveling, familygatherings, playing bid whisk and spades with her good friends (thelate Joanne) and most of all watching and being around their kidsand grandkids. Debbie retired from Torrington Special Products inTorrington, CT and then went on to work for First Union Bank inOrlando.During this time, she obtained a certification in Information Technologybut was forced to retire after being diagnosed with MS in 2003. Afterwhich, Debbie dedicated her time to loving and caring for her family.Debbie loved to take pictures and captured every memory imaginablewith her polaroid camera.Debbie had a love for dancing, and one of her proudest moments waswhen she won a dance contest when she was in her 20’s; she was thelast one dancing after nearly 2 days. Her influence will forever remainin the lives of all who knew her. Her beautiful life will forever becherished.She leaves behind her two daughters, Stephanie Ecklin-Hope and herhusband Forest Hope of Palm Coast, FL. Kwana Green-Thompson andher husband Sharran Thompson of Orlando, FL. Her brother Anthony(Tony) Thomas and his wife Carolyn Thomas of Cincinnati, OH. Sixgrandchildren; Anthonya, Elexus, Stefany, Qujuan, Zyaire, and Tzion.Five great grandchildren; Royal, Dante, Torriell, Notorious, andJourn’ee. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and some who were likeher brothers and sisters, Ray, Jean, Troy, and Luke.Debbie is predeceased by her siblings, the late Roderick Thomas Jr.,the late Virginia (Boot) Ecklin, the late Brenda Thomas-Notice, and thelate Calvin (Keith) Walton. She leaves behind three brothers, Anthony(Tony) Thomas of Cincinnati OH, Sevic & Asa Walton, both ofWaterbury, CT.The Home Going Service for Deborah will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Pine Lakes Road, Palm Coast, Florida 32164.
