Thanks for joining us! We pray that you’ll be inspired to love Jesus more and commit your life to Him after hearing these sermons. We are leading people to follow Jesus together. Join us on a Sunday at one of our locations in Trumbull County, Ohio.
What are the 9 Manifestation Gifts and why should believers anticipate being used by God in them? Why does it matter and how can we begin to be open to letting God use as an extension cord of His love and power to others?
What is the Baptism of the Spirit and why is it important to experience this gift that Jesus promised and told us to seek?
The Bible tells us how to build a marriage that lasts. The Bible tells us that men in particular, need to feel respected and that women need to feel loved. Is there a nuance? A difference? I think so. Let's talk about.
Is God just a crutch?
Isn't Jesus just a crutch for the weak? Kinda. When we realize we are ALL weak and in need of a Savior, God is beginning to open our heart to the beauty and power of Jesus. We all need Jesus! The godless. The religious. The hopeless.
In between the Resurrection and Rapture, it takes faith. But our JESUS is trustworthy! Put your faith in Him!
Often the very place we want to go least is where Jesus asks us to go and offer grace. Why is it so many Christians want to go overseas on a missions trip but not go home and offer grace and mercy to family? I believe it's because those we love the most have the power to hurt us the greatest. These wounds need healed and grace needs given. If we really want to follow Jesus, we have to get up, take our mat and go home.
In week 3 of our series on our thought life, we're talking about thought habits that if we're honest, are just plain sinful. Gossip, Pornography/Lust, Anger, these things, if left unattended, will ruin our relationships - the very people God blessed us with. God wants to RENEW our minds to speak LIFE to people, and that begins with our SPOUSE. Often Christians treat the person they love the most, the worst. They point out the negative only, they complain without giving compliments, they get argumentative and defensive when their spouse tries to have a difficult conversation about a needed change. This shouldn't be, church. We can do better. We can allow God's Spirit to transform our thinking habits which will transform our speaking habits and bring LIFE to our HOMES.
In week 1 of this series, we're trying to assess our thoughts and whether our thoughts (that become our words) are bringing life and blessing to others OR are they tearing others down and burning bridges. Let's go to God's Word together.
If we really want to follow Jesus it means we have to take our eyes off of so many other things... getting ahead, getting approval or affection from everyone, running the rat race... Following Jesus means truly fixing all our hearts affection on Him and Him only. So much that we even help OTHERS see His beauty!
What if we look at life like a song?
Father God is the Composer.
The Holy Spirit is the Conductor.
& The Song is all about Jesus!

Today in our end times series "Our Hope and Future" we talk about the pivotal event soon to take place, the Rapture of the church. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore, encourage one another with these words."

All month we talked about the unseen realities of the unseen realm. Angels and Demons, heaven and hell, are contending for us - the image of God. Some unseen realities are our own doing - our own sin we're hesitant to admit or repent of. In today's service, we talk about how to recognize these unseen villans of greed, envy, and pride and repent of them and allow the Father to forgive us and fill us with His love.
Is it possible that many Christians are unaware of "satan's schemes" even though the Bible tells us "We are not unaware of satan's schemes..."? Many Christians don't realize that often they've made a person the enemy instead of realizing 'people are never the enemy; they're the mission.' Many Christians don't realize the oppression and heaviness and sleeplessness is sometimes a spiritual attack. Many Christians don't realize their authority in Christ Jesus to set the atmosphere and remove any demonic voice and oppressive, lying spirit. Are there demons and angels and why?
How do I discern a spiritual attack from just a bad day?
Often it's in our home where we first get the opportunity to obey Scripture and be Christlike. However, we fall short of what desires because we need reminded of the structure that God designed called Family. There's an all out attack on the family unit. It may seem cultural - as if it just sorta happened because other countries became so liberal in their view of marriage and family. But is it just cultural? Or is something bigger at play? I believe Satan has unleashed demonic forces that are distorting what "love" is to millions of people. I believe demons are literally at work, compelling social media organizers to push a certain message and agenda on America's children.
Don't believe me? Check out the PragerU experiment where they pretended to be a child creating a YouTube Kids account. Within seconds, they were shown multiple videos pushing a homosexual lifestyle as well as drag-queens and transgender messages. Why? Why would children be given that content? Why was the algorithm coded that way? These are important questions we should be asking ourselves. Not because we're conspiracy theorists but because we are Christians. Parents need to care about what their children are learning. Parents need to teach their children what the Word says. Father's need to bring kind and clear discipline to their children. Husbands need to show care and love for their wives. Wives need to show respect and honor to their husbands praising their efforts to provide and defend their family. The Word guides on what the family is and how it is to function. Are we listening?
I felt this was a powerful word for those of you waiting on a miracle or are in the midst of some stressful situations right now. Hear the word of the Lord!
Wait upon the Lord and He will give you strength!
His banner over you is love. Nothing in this world is stronger than His love. His love drives out all fear and worry and stress.

What does the Bible say about worship?
Why is it so important for us to worship together on a regular basis?
We were made to WORSHIP.
We were made to worship GOD.
We were made to worship God TOGETHER.
We would never say that we have idols in our lives. But, there are times when a thing or person steals all our attention and focus. Anything we fixate on and prioritize the most can certainly become an idol and rob us of what we were made for - affection and adoration of JESUS!
What does the Bible tell us about Communion?
Why is it important to continue taking this sacrament and keeping it sacred and how do we let the Spirit bring this to life? Will Collens brings a great word for us today!
What if we welcomed the spontaneous moving of the Holy Spirit but also honored the sacraments given to us in the Bible? Too many in the charismatic church have abandoned the sacred elements of communion and baptism. Others have placed so much equity in their liturgy have quenched the Holy Spirit. Is it possible to value both liturgy and organic expressions love? Is it possible to have both eucharist and verbal communion with God in a spontaneous, loving way? Yes! God's Word gives us a blueprint for both Spirit and Sacrament. One does not negate the other but rather, the Spirit gives LIFE to the sacrament and turns the mundane into melody!

Why is it that so many people, including Christians, are lacking peace and joy in their life? Many believers miss out on the manifest (revealed in great ways) presence of Jesus because they refuse to live in grace. Instead they hold on to offenses and just go to a new church every few years. Don't leave the tribe God's given you because one person offended you. Instead, learn to forgive and in doing so become more like Jesus. When you do you'll be glad you did! JESUS enters the room when GRACE is given! Satan is the "accuser of the brethren" Jesus is the grace giver. Who are you becoming like?
I wonder how often we miss out on the manifest presence of God because we've avoided unity by being unwilling to forgive - unwilling to have the hard conversations when someone has offended us. Jesus promises THERE I AM in the midst of us when we are together in unity; but unity is only possible with humility. Long lasting friendships are only possible when you're living through the lens of grace - being willing to be understanding and forgiving. Let's learn to forgive, be gracious and be in unity and when we do THERE the Lord commands His blessing forevermore!

Then we look into the life of Simon Peter who had to give up his security, income and identity in order to follow Jesus into the unknown. We might have to also. Then we look at a remarkable story fo a widow for whom God miraculously supplied. God wants invited into our situation and we don't have to wait until we're desperate. But once we are desperate, often that is when we finally cry out to God and ask for help. He is THERE ready to show His love and power!

In week 1 of our My Story series, we talk about the importance of letting grace do it's work by being honest with God. If we're not honest and open about how we feel and what our sins are, we are inhibiting God from doing His work. The lie of shame wants you and your story hidden. The power of grace is in the telling of your testimony - what Jesus forgave you of - how He changed you! There's POWER in your story!
When we realize the grace that's been given to us, we are able to gladly give its to others. Holding a grudge or thinking "someone owes you" is living under the law. Jesus had a lot to say about that. He invites us into a better way to live - a life of grace!

In this today's service, we again encountered God in a special way during worship but then we discussed what it means for Jesus to be our "daily bread" and what Jesus might have meant when He said that. Scripture says that Jesus is the Living Bread and Jesus even referenced the manna falling from heaven when describing Himself. What might that mean for our lives?
We can pray from a position from promise. Prayer is not meant to just be a reaction to problems. We pray from a place of PROMISE!

Today we talk about the importance of bearing the fruit of the Spirit - which are the characteristics of Christ. This happens two ways 1. Automatically as we daily let His Spirit take root in us; the fruit comes naturally. 2. We crucify the flesh meaning - we make the choice not to be rude or selfish - what Paul calls "the flesh" and instead we "put on love" like Paul says. We choose to make our love sincere, not just mere words.

Today we look at the parable of the Good Steward but then we take a very practical approach to HOW to be effective for King Jesus. I want to humbly suggest what I've done over the years that has helped me do what I believe God wants me to do and reach the destination God wants me to reach. I don't know about you but I don't want to be the wicked servant! I don't want to live in fear and accuse the Master (GOD) of being harsh or of being a thief. I want to be thankful for what He's given and give Him a good ROI Return On Investment!

Why waste time doing what GOD hasn't called you to do. No man can tell you that - only God can and He does that when we take time to pray.

Commit to Learn (DISCERN) What books do you need to read and Who do you need to spend time with that can teach you what you need to know to go where you feel called to go?

You'll need others for this!
- Say Yes to Faithfulness (DECIDE) Many great ideas lie dead in the Valley of Indecision.
Faithfulness is being reliably excellent with what you have wherever you are.

After we realize that GOD wants to not only forgive us and make us born again, we see that He wants to bless us and care for us and give us the JOY of following Him. THEN we realize that He wants to work through us to bless others. But what happens when we start working toward that calling or that promise in our heart? Sometimes the enemy gets angry and tries to stop us.
Satan attacks the vision God put within us three ways:
Intimidation
Infiltration
Isolation
Don't fall for it! Instead, rise up in faith and complete the good work God began in you! God has a knack for using ordinary people to do extraordinary things! Miracles are on the OTHER SIDE of faith!
So many believers miss out on the JOY God intends for them because they believe the lie that life is meant to be lived for them. Find the wisdom, the gift given to Abraham that your blessing from the Lord is meant to be passed on to others! THAT is when you and I experience true joy. THAT is when we build the Kingdom of God - when we begin to look outside of our needs and our wants and let GOD birth HIS desires and HIS plan in us!

Living on a prayer!
For most of us that line sparks a memory; be honest, some of you just shouted "WHOAH" For many believers sadly, they aren't abiding with Jesus each and every day, hanging on His every word. But Jesus makes it clear that we can hear from Him and know Him each and every day. Jesus wants to speak to us about our day AND our future. He wants us to live on prayer. Jesus is the Bread of Life that we need each and every day. If we don't do this, we will be a self-made man or woman. If we take time to pray and seek His face we will allow Him to do what He did in Abraham's life. He said "I will make you a blessing to the nations... I will make your children numerous... I will make ..." We have a choice PRAY and let God speak OR assume Christianity is just a Sunday thing. (it's not =) Let Him speak and enter into JOY!
What if you're not experiencing the breakthrough in your life because you're holding on to the past or holding on to sin habits that keep you from entering the future God has for you? What if God has dreams and plans for you that you have yet to see!? There's joy in the journey. Let's be open and ready for what GOD wants to do in us!
What if launching into the future God has for you begins with surrender - laying down beliefs that aren't what God intends. God gives you a "new day with no mistakes in it" and a future that is BRIGHT! Jesus offers hope and not just for behavior modification but a NEW heart that desires to please the Lord.
I wonder why God chose Abraham, a shepherd. Moses, a shepherd. David, a shepherd? Let's see!

Every Church needs to be a home. A healthy home is a place of love, safety and stability. People need a home. A sense of belonging. When we plant churches we are creating a home for the Hurting, the Broken, the Lost and the Forgotten.
We plant churches because we find in Acts that it's God's strategy to reach the lost. As He pours out His Spirit, believers were empowered to tell people about Jesus! As believers were added daily, they planted churches and their entire region was transformed with love of Jesus!
The parents and leaders of the day loved God, yet failed to pass down their spiritual heritage. When we as parents pass down our stories of God's faithfulness it communicates to our children what God did for us God will do for them.
Pastor Andrew Pitts continues our series "Why do we worship?" Worship Changes us! Worship is the chief goal of man. We were made to know and love God and we do that when we worship Him, not just Sundays, but all week long.
We look at Gideon's story today and how God redefined him. Do I view myself the way God sees me? Do I view others the way God does? Who am I agreeing with? That's the question of worship. Does the way I'm acting toward my spouse bring worship and glory to the name of Jesus? Does the way I'm thinking and acting towards my boss bring glory to the name of Jesus? Do I see them how God does? Am I agreeing with GOD regarding my spouse, my boss, neighbor....? Or am I agreeing with the enemy?
