Join us today on a special episode of the Wisdom Hunters Podcast as Boyd shares a moving tribute that he recently wrote and shared on the occasion of his mother's death. In inviting us into his season of grief, Boyd models for us how Christians can faithfully trust the Lord even when their hearts are filled with sorrow and loss.

As he said in a recent devotional, "The comfort of Christ through other Christians gives us permission to freely process our grief. Like a soldier riddled with wounds and incapacitated requires the care of others, so a soul ravished by sorrow cannot heal itself without the comfort of love and kindness. If we resort to self reliance or denial, we miss the sole care of grieving and remain in discomfort."
