We are a church in the north east of Lake Macquarie NSW Australia. We believe that there is power in the name of Jesus and we are passionate about seeing people find life in Him. We would love nothing more than to get to know you, so please come along to our service this Sunday. There is no better time than now to be involved in the many things God is doing in our community.
Life throws us many challenges, and it may feel like you are struggling in this season to keep up and/or to overcome the challenges you are facing. Jesus gives us a hope to hold on to in and beyond our challenges. He also promises us that He will never leave us or abandon us. He is right there in the middle of the challenges we face. In today’s message we explore the concept of ‘Resilient discipleship – A long obedience in the same direction.’
In life, we are constantly faced with tough decisions. "How should i spend my time", Who should i marry?, How do i juggle work and family? Rather then being overwhelmed by fear, let us take heart and be faithful in our choices.
If we are free then why do we keep sinning? A word on sanctification and Life in the Spirit.
Spend time with Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and take the next step of faith. I am courageous in Christ!

What does your measure of joy reveal about your walk with jesus? Believers should be the most joy-full people on the planet. Let's look at why some believers don't experience the joy of the Lord, and how to gain it if you don't have it.
When we think about our future, its normal to have certain expectations, but often the reality can be quite different. So what does it look like for us as Christians to view the path before us and our own expectations?

Psalm 103:3 says He forgives ALL our sins and ALL our diseases. Not just one or two but ALL. Jesus brings healing and fullness of life. Jesus comes into your life when no one else could.
God can use you to pray for the sick - even when you feel unqualified for the job. in this sermon, we will make a link between the power of God being poured out and the hunger and humility of people who pressed-in to seek Jesus and kingdom of God. There is a childlikeness to how we walk in this in faith.
From the very first gospel presentation (found in Acts 2), Peter answers the crowd’s question by placing Jesus at the centre of God’s unfolding story. Joel foretold a day when God would pour out His Spirit on all people—signs that God is nearer than anyone realises. Peter declares that this day has arrived because Jesus has been raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God.
How we understand the nearness of God affects our message as to whether the good news is good or not. The early message of the good news was that the kingdom of God was near, and demonstrated with signs and wonders. We are invited into this message. Jesus is looking for labourers. The kind of labourers he wants are birthed in prayer. Disciples of Jesus are sent-ones. They go in the same authority and Spirit as Christ, and the reality of the nearness of the kingdom of God.

We are the church, and God has commissioned us to share our faith. Sometimes sharing our own faith can be so difficult and frustrating when we are trying to argue the faith to others. To make them see the love of Jesus from our own strength and not His.
The mantle of Christ (the anointing he carries) is laid on the believer, and yet many choose to settle for the cross, the house of God, the miracle they experienced years ago, and do not enter the river that Christ has parted ahead of them. Jesus lays his mantle on the believer, and it is not about what Jesus sees in us; rather what I see and value in Jesus that determines whether the fullness of his anointing is expressed through me.

In this sermon Ben talks to us about two examples, Jehosephat and Esther. How they had so much going against them and their people but through faith they overcame it all. Truely If God is for us, who can be against us?
Many people in Jesus day rallied to the movement of what Jesus was doing. But only a few were moved by Jesus. Those who are moved by him take every word as life and truth. They are obedient to his every command. If we want to grow with the same fruit that Jesus had, we need to build our lives on Christ.
