There is also this incredible article by John Hersey of the same name.

If you're a glass-half-full kind of person, you'd say that The Gray Man is a fun time, referencing well-loved action tropes and doing it well. If you're a glass-half-empty person, well, you'd say it was a poor excuse for an action film, saved only by the elements that have already been done and to better effect in other films. We're still not sure where we stand.

We've seen it. And yes, it's as incredibly confusing as everyone says. If you don't like Senaai's rants, this won't be the podcast for you. A few things we didn't even get to talking about (spoilers below but, honestly, do you care?):- The random sequence where Victoria steals things?! - Didn't Deuteronomy get captured and then everyone else immediately forgot about it for a couple of songs, until eventually they're like, "Hey, we should do something about that!"- They get drugged?!- Why were the mice faces floating on their heads? Something was wayyy off with the tracking here. - Why are all the songs so repetitive? They just repeat the same sentence backwards! For instance, "Because Jellicles can and Jellicles do; Jellicles do and Jellicles can."- Whyyyyyy was there so much breathing?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Don't go changing an S to a Z in your business name and expect Lonnie to like it. But make a great film about true love and overcoming prejudice like "A United Kingdom" and Lonnie and Senaai will always love it.

So it turns out Halal Snack Packs are a great meme but they're actually gross. And it also turns out Arrival is one of the best films of 2016.

If there's one thing Senaai loves, it's Christmas. If there are two things Senaai loves, they are Christmas and Harry Potter. Unfortunately both of her true loves have been more than a little disappointing recently. Spoilers for "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" (although you should have seen it by now, surely).

Lonnie and Senaai recently had a very frustrating day at the new North Lakes shopping centre, which is so busy now it's basically a warzone. They also saw "Hacksaw Ridge" which is about a real warzone, and kind of made an annoying guy with a trolley and an overcrowded lolly shop seem not that bad after all.

Lonnie had his birthday but once again it was marred by stray dogs. But we did go to watch "Doctor Strange" which was a perfectly fine movie but is that enough these days? Stay tuned for a lot of talk about Marvel super hero movies because nobody else has ever done that.

If you want to hold a really bad garage sale, don't listen to this episode. If you want to throw the best garage sale ever, you've come to the right place, as Senaai and Lonnie decree their best tips and tricks on how to sell your old shit. They also watched "The Girl on the Train" which was fine, I guess.

Senaai has had enough of superfluous commemorative days and would very much like to be in charge of deciding what deserves a whole day's dedication. What won't be on top of the list is the new Tim Burton film which was... eh... all right. Not as good at the book.

Lonnie was inadvertently hit by a water pistol and Senaai was ordered to kiss him by a little girl - needless to see it's been a big week. Edward Snowden and Louis Theroux probably had big weeks as well, considering they've been involved in some pretty great movies. Turns out the government spying on you is bad and antagonising Scientology is good bloody drama. Who knew?

Lonnie gets a few stories off his chest about a very strange coach terminal, while Senaai's height yet again causes her to not be able to see something, this time Brisbane's Riverfire, which wasn't really worth it anyway. And we both agree Woody Allen's latest film, Cafe Society, is one of his best.

Another look at the upcoming Byron Bay Film Festival, this time at some excellent home grown (pun intended) documentaries. Lonnie and Senaai do their street cred no good by revealing they know nothing about drugs and also look back at one of the most ridiculous court cases about one of the best Australian songs. The festival program is now available at http://bbff.com.au/ - get along to Byron Bay October 14-23 or Senaai will cry.

Lonnie bitterly recounts a story about some stupid (presumably) first year university students who brought hot chips into a computer room while Senaai gushes over her new favourite movie, The Secret Life Of Pets. They are both confused about how and why Kevin Hart became so popular and Sam makes a surprise appearance.

Lonnie and Senaai try to talk about the social contract but end up just talking about how people should live with their mistakes and how all babies should sign documents as soon as they're born. They also spend way too much time discussing their new imaginary friend, Bob, and review "Tickled" but don't say anything about it. It's better this way.

Senaai grumbles and whines about those idiots who can’t take five minutes to concentrate on their order while Lonnie has a hilarious story about giving his real name at a fast food place. They also review the surprisingly brilliant “Paper Towns” based on the book by Senaai’s celebrity crush, John Green. Lonnie’s celebrity crush, Corey Oates, has yet to write a book but he’s sure if and when he does, it’ll be much better than anything John could ever dream of.
