We return to talk more basketball on the @Dan_N_JoeSportsShow talking NC State joining UConn as being in the Final Four in Men's and Women's hoops. We highlight the hero of the men's tourney (and only star even in same hemisphere as women's stars this year) with the "Rounder Mound of Rebound" D.J. Burns as the upstart 11-seed NC State wolfpack try to go on another magical title run as a low seed like they did in 1983 with Jim Valvano and do so by beating this generation's Patrick Ewing in Zach Edey. So many parallels to 1983! We also look at Bama - UConn in Bama's first Final 4 against the unstoppable UConn Huskies and on the Women's side UConn as a possible dream killer of America's sweetheart in Caitlin Clark.

We analyze the biggest offseason coaching hire in college baseball in Link Jarrett returning home to take over for Mike Martin, Jr. as head baseball coach at Florida St. This was a hire that was a no brainer for Florida St. as Link played for the Noles' legendary ball coach Mike Martin, Sr. and got his coaching career started at Florida St. We ask whether we would have left Notre Dame for FSU when Link brought unprecedented success to Irish baseball including a CWS appearance this season and a stunning upset of the No. 1 overall seeded Tennessee volunteers at the Knoxville Super Regional. We look back on a season that saw the Rebs achieve a No. 1 ranking at the beginning of the SEC slate of schedule then saw them plummet to the bottom of the SEC and then have to go on a serious run at end of regular season just to be the last at-large team to make the regionals.
