Starting over can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. Starting fresh as a church community can be just as intimidating as it is exhilarating. But when you build your foundation on prayer, there's nothing you can't achieve. Our heart is to relaunch our church with a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-ethnicity, non-religious approach that can bring people of all backgrounds together.
Pastor Alicia will explore the importance of prayer as you start any new journey.

Following the resurrection of Lazarus and prior to His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Jesus and his apostles make a providential stop in Bethany. There, they encounter Lazarus and his two sisters, Mary & Martha. Events occur where Jesus sees both faltering and flourishing faith.

What do we do when we can’t avoid the challenges that come before us in life? On the way to the cross Jesus is met by two daughters who deal with persistent challenges. In two separate and distinct ways, we find that there is always a way to connect to the God who loves us. While challenges and problems will come our way, we are given a way to connect to our heavenly Father who loves us and wants to heal us.
The season of Lent is a time where we experience why Jesus was sent into the world. This week you will learn that you don’t have to be perfect to be accepted and loved by God. Come and hear how God met a man of influence who is moved beyond his imperfections when he encounters Jesus on the way to the cross. You don’t have to be perfect to be loved by God. You have to be open to receive the one who comes for you.
Jesus knew what was ahead of Him: betrayal by a friend, crucifixion on a cross, separation from His Father, yet victory for all through His resurrection. Jesus didn’t pray, "If it be Your will” because He didn’t know the Father’s plan. No, His prayer of commitment to the Father’s plan is an example to us of how to surrender to the Father’s will for our lives. Lord, Thy will be done!
We have read and heard the miraculous healing stories performed by Jesus. But can Jesus address the problems that we are facing today? Is God’s word relevant, and can it make a difference in our lives? Pastor Partee explores the relevancy of Jesus as he brings healing in the midst of our everyday situation.
