When the churches cannot save anyone now.
Because we’re all are at the mercy of God’s will.
And as the pains of death make us call on a name,
Of the God who’s laid so still.
And while people scramble to find some Toilet paper.
The fear of God shuts the church’s doors.
And every school in the country is closed.
Along with most offices and grocery stores?
And all the entertainment and sports venues are shut down.
And the price of gas is almost down to a dollar.
And while nations call on a state of emergency,
Only God has all the power.
And whomever predicted a grim future for America,
Must have thought the Word of God was Dead.
Especially in a time when the world needs hope more than ever,
We should be talking about Jesus instead.
Why else would we say “One nation under God?”
And swear over a Holy bible in a court of law.
Then stamp the American currency to read, in God we trust.
But no president mentions Jesus at all.
