January 29th, 2023 - Deep Dive Into Hebrews Series - Significant Superior Source - Politicians, producers, pundits, publishers, and podcasters are a current source of information that many of us consume. But is it possible that what they are sharing with us isn't so brilliant as it is debasing. Today we learn that Jesús, as the superior source of information, offers us the source code upon which we can make applications that execute perfectly in our lives. However, too much of what we hear from those who think their message equal to the message of the angels makes us common, corrupt, and compromised. Our deep dive into Hebrews 1:10-14 helps us understand that the superior source is consistent with the design and determination of our Creator, considers the reality that our own sin requires the help of a changer who corrects what goes wrong, and computes the outcome which has Jesus as the Conqueror in the end.

October 30th, 2022 - This Is Jeopardy! Series - Mediator - Jesus, as the Mediator, is the only one who can heal us of the paranoia, regret, and guilt so many suffer with today because of the government. Politicians in search of power have subverted the intentions of our founding fathers which depended on the virtue of those who self-govern by sanctimoniously and sacrilegiously displacing Jesus as the Mediator between God and man. It has had disastrous effects and can only be overcome when we regain our eternal perspective through the power of prayer.

Only Jesus offers us the joy of success, and that when we stay connected to Him, cultivated by God, curated by us.

We explore the possibility that God is frustrating the experienced, educated, and experts of our day because they are trying to guide us with human wisdom that doesn't respect or reflect the centrality of Christ Jesus. The recognized effects of trauma are many, but they often manifest themselves as shame and grief in the life of the victim. God has promised us that through Christ we can reframe our disgrace into glory and our distress into genuineness if we will accept that what is meant as harm at the hands of others can be understood as God preparing us to do good to save others in peril. It is important to know how we can be helped and help others suffering from trauma and this message explores this mystery.

Injustice is the "cause celebre" of our day and it is a noble cause but often done without the perspective of the one who is all about justice. The nature of God is all about justice, and injustice is something He requires we fight. But we must fight injustice by doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly before Him according to Micah 6:8. True justice can only be achieved through the wounds and wisdom of Christ, and it is our privilege to do justice that way and help those traumatized by the evil injustice in this world.

Methuselah is the oldest person ever to live according to the bible. He lived nearly a millennium making him the first Millennial. We are connected to his life and death in two ways. His long life is evidence that God created us to live forever, and his death is evidence that sin messed up that plan. God's solution is to deal with sin through the sacrifice of Christ so that we can live forever again.

This is the fourth message in the Luke3andMe series. We consider the enigmatic life of Enoch who "walked with God" and then was no more. We begin to see the principles and patterns that defined the line of Christ. They called on the name of the Lord (principle) and they walked faithfully with God (pattern). We find our connection with Enoch as we follow the same principle and pattern in our lives. Like Enoch, we too can become no more as we receive our reward from the Creator. We learned we are not determined by our DNA, but we are determined by our choices.

The second message in the Luke3andMe series, we investigate the issue of Creation vs. Evolution. The world doesn't know why they want to believe they come from anything but a loving Creator, but there are always alternatives to the Creation narrative being pushed. In this message, we learn we are Created in God's Image to reflect His Glory. This is our purpose and design and the only right way to live.

Our first message in the Luke3andMe series helps us discover our connection through Christ to God by way of those in the Genealogy of Jesus. The common problem all people have is we are disconnected from our Creator God because of sin. The story of humankind illustrated by the family of Jesus covers the first 4000 years of human history and how God over and again kept alive a line of faithful believers to preserve the lineage of Christ. Better understanding their stories provides the context we need to preserve our connection to Christ and His Salvation in our time.
