Speaker Sarah Bachelard Topic: The work of Love in the face of Doom Recorded in London May 2018.
This is deep and profound teaching , it touches on some of our most treasured beliefs and how they are framed in our emotions and understanding.
Sarah an Anglican priest and theologian share how Jesus teaches his disciples to reflect and react, to remain free from fear. in the most difficult circumstances
Her reflection on our fear of Death reminds me of Francis of Assisi " Sister Death wont harm you ".
As you will hear she also has a particular concern in the whole area of climate change and sustainable living, how in order not to tip the balance we need times of reflection and adjustment.

Speaker Christy Wimber
Topic Making Disciples Part 1
Recorded in 2018
Christy Wimber planted Yorba Linda Vineyard in southern California in 2006.
But despite growing a flourishing congregation, she announced early in 2017 that she was closing the church. She recalls thinking, “I don’t understand this. This is not what I want to do, but I do feel like this is the Lord.”
Since receiving the message from God that “your assignment here is done”, Wimber has shifted focus to now training church planters. She aims to create a group of leaders who can plant and lead new churches. Her track record of following the Lord’s call to unchartered territories has led to an equity of trust and respect among her fellow leaders.
Christy’s call to include the privilege of discipleship is the full gospel and very refreshing. Just imagine being in that inner place where you experience the promise of Philippians 4: 6 and 7.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, transcending anything we can understand with reason and logic. Then the peace of God will be released in you, guarding your heart and mind, when you believe what Jesus believed.
Next 4 weeksWe will break down Christy 2 talks into four parts.

We praise and thank you through Jesus Christ our Lord

we know it is you who turn our minds to thoughts of peace.
Your Spirit changes our hearts:
enemies begin to speak to one another,
those who were estranged join hands in friendship,
and nations seek the way of peace together.
Your Spirit is at work
when understanding puts an end to strife,
when hatred is quenched by mercy,
and vengeance gives way to forgiveness.
For this we should never cease
to thank and praise you.

Speaker John Sullivan
Topic: What is Synodality in the Church all about Part 2
Wise Words:
Two ancient principles are to be appropriated. The first is that what touches all should be examined and approved by all (rather than being handed down from on high without the people being consulted).
The second is that whatever is received is received according to the mode of the recipient - a recognition that each person receives revelation and the teaching of the church in a unique way that is deeply influenced by their individual nature, experience, and circumstances – and that decision-making in the church should take proper account of the diversity of perspectives and experiences prevalent in her midst. If the internal workings of the church do not display openness, transparency, inclusivity, dialogue, mutual respect and accountability, then it is much more difficult for the church to come across as credible or winsome in communicating faith to the world.
The path of synodality can be considered an attempt to overcome dysfunctionality in our ecclesial culture and thus in our witness to the world.

Speaker: John Sullivan
Topic What is Synodality in the Church all about Part 1
John has a BA in History and politics (Hull), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Liverpool), an MLitt in Philosophy of Religion (Lancaster), a PhD in Catholic Philosophy of Education (London) plus a Diploma in the Philosophy and History of Education (London) and a Diploma in Theology (Liverpool) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He supervises doctoral research in Catholic Studies and Christian education. His special areas of academic interest include Christian higher education, the interconnections between theology, philosophy, and education, and the match between purposes of, contexts for and approaches to Christian education.
His research interests also include the religious thought of Maurice Blondel, developments in the Catholic intellectual tradition, especially the unfinished project of modernism and the place of religious conviction and speech in the public square. What links these broad areas is an enduring engagement with key issues in the communication and reception of the Christian faith.
The above is by way of an introduction of John’s academic credentials, he is a very bright guy.
But let me also introduce you to another side of John that is not covered above. He plays guitar on a Sunday morning at the parish liturgy. He serves tea and coffee afterwards, helps with the washing up, and is remembered for his superb jiving with his wife at parish socials.
So when you listen to John have in mind this bigger picture, a man who in life combines two gifts. One is to encourage others to live a life of loving service, and second to show through his life, a celebration of the wonderful gift of life.

Topic: Radical Discipleship and Priestly Prayer
In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus uses soil types as a metaphor for the way people receive his teachings.
The different soil types are the different responses people have when they hear his wonderful teaching on anxiety, judgement, radical nonviolence, greed, superiority forgiveness, reconciliation, justice and peace.
The first soil is the hardened path, where the seeds cannot penetrate, symbolizing those who reject the message outright.
The second soil, rocky ground, stands for those who receive the word with first enthusiasm but lack depth, leading to their eventual abandonment of faith.
The third soil, thorny ground, signifies individuals whose faith is choked by worldly concerns.
Finally, the fertile soil points to the receptive heart that fully embrace his teaching and bear the fruit of deep inner freedom and a new experience of abundant life.

Talk: What kind of Church can the laity help to build.
Speaker: Amy Cameron.
I must confess to a bias toward this teaching for Amy is my daughter in law. In all the years I have known her, first as she member of a Youth mission team along with Archie my son, and later as a member of our family, I hold this woman in very high regard.
Amy works for Newcastle Diocese and is part of a committed group of people praying and working for a bright future for the Catholic Church. Some of the facts she shares with us can be quite worrying. By 2030 the number of priests will half, as will the number of Catholics attending Mass. But one of the things I love about her is her confidence in the presence and plans of God for this time, and that by working together, using the gifts God has already given us, we have nothing to fear.

A little prayer practice that I find very helpful and would like to share with you. If you can listen to this talk with a pen and paper at hand and simply stop the talk and write down any thoughts you have about what is being said. For example, I stopped at the part about nuclear arms, it could be different for you.
Then explore your reaction, was it fearful or cautious or hopeful and freeing for you personally. And finally, from the teaching of Jesus find the words that will take you from that place of inner fear and confusion to a place of inner freedom, courage and commitment.

Speaker: Pauline McDougall
Talk: Scriptural Models for Transformation.
I am sitting in the studio today, preparing this episode and the news of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is filling the airwaves. All over the world people are again confronted with the horror of war, horrors inflicted on innocent people even children.
Jesus knew this situation first hand, his country was invaded by a powerful and brutal regime, and it is very good for us to reflect on how he handled it. He had two ways of looking at the situation he was in.
One way of thinking was, that the power of brutality and fear was paramount and inevitable
This is how we are as human beings, we are born competitive and every day we compete with others for survival. That in the end violence is the only way we can stop our enemies.
But on the cross, Jesus showed a new way for us to handle violence, by a radical commitment to non-violence. Jesus believed that he was to bring the peace and reconciliation that God desires into every human relationship, and he personally paid the price of his total commitment to non-violence and forgiveness.
As we discuss with our families the terrible situation in Ukraine, let us, like Jesus keep on saying that war is not inevitable, but that it is a choice that men and women make. And that we personally will never refrain from trying to make the world safe and healthy, a world where we no longer want to or need to make anyone feel afraid. The cost is high but the reward is Great Stay safe and free from fear.

Episode 93 Speaker: Pauline McDougall Talk: Scriptural Model of Transformation
Firstly, let me apologize for the sound quality of this podcast, it's not bad, it's just not as good as we normally provide. That being said I still want to share it with you. It speaks to a wonderful invitation at the time of the Second Vatican Council for every Catholic to deepen their love of scripture.
So, to all our evangelical and Pentecostal sisters and brothers listening to this episode, you can rejoice with us that the Holy Spirit is at work in the Catholic Church calling us to a greater love for the scripture.
When Pauline details the way we can trust the inner call to harmony and peace, because we are listening to the voice of the good shepherd, it helped me so much. It reminds me that I can trust the call of scripture as interpreted by Jesus.

Talk: In His Presence.
See I am doing a New Thing. Can you not see it.?
When I think of this scripture passage, my attention automatically goes to the exterior world.
I look at human behaviour and belief and look for anywhere where the is no violence or greed. It's so easy for me to see the current situation and feel that things are terrible that nothing new is happening, and this causes me to be anxious and confused.
But then I remember the wonderful words of Jesus in John 16. ( I personalise it)
Archie In this world, you will see trouble and tribulation, but take heart I have overcome the world. I am telling you these things so that like me you will find peace in the trouble and anxiety.
Jesus invites us to follow his way to know the deep inner peace that he knew. Even in very worrying and difficult times. It is so good to be a follower of Jesus and to follow him in this way to find a peace that is beyond all human understanding.

Speaker: Bob Faricy
Talk: Contemplative Prayer Part 2.
Reading the Signs of the Times
If we take another look, at the move of Gods Spirit, in the event we call the Second Vatican Council we can see how wise the teaching was and still is. In these times of Climate change and the Covid situation, it is now so obvious that we need the goodwill and cooperation of all
counties to protect each other. The slogan " No one is safe until everyone is safe" has never been more true.
The understanding that all life is interdependent is at the heart of the vision of Vatican 2
and is a safe and reliable invitation for an alternative model for human society and culture.

Speaker: Marie Byrne
Theme: The Call to Unity.
This topic, in light of the current reality, ie Climate Change and Covid is vital for us but especially for our children and grandchildren.
The need for global cooperation and collaboration is so self-evident that we must:- all in our own way, use whatever power we have to support the companies and organisations that turn from the competitive model which promotes a system of winners and losers to supporting a culture built on cooperation and the welfare of all Gods children. Not only is this sound theology but also true in every area of life for the vast majority of humans alive today.
You are a very powerful agent for change and wisdom. Enjoy this talk and grow in your effectiveness to be a co-creator with God.

Episode 80
Speaker: Richard Rohr
Topic: Adult Christianity as a path to life in all its fullness.
My experience as a school Chaplain was that over the years, and the hundreds of young people I meet, there was a constant theme, they all wanted to feel safe and special.
When we could talk about Jesus belief, that it was God that put those feelings into them, and that God wanted every person to feel safe and special, we could at least begin a common journey with a common goal. The Goal was Life in all its Fullness.
In Part 2 of this talk, Richard helps us to see that when we seek safety and reputation only on the outside we miss a very important source of grace, ie inner safety and a real sense of being inwardly convicted of the truth and wisdom, of our lives of faith and friendship. Enjoy.

Episode 76:
Teacher: Father Ian Petit
Teaching: Renewal in the Holy Spirit.
It is often said that this is the age of the Holy Spirit, but what does that mean.
Dave Matthews, a wonderful friend, told me this story. As a young man, Dave went to his pastor and asked him about ministry. He was told to look at what Gods Spirit was doing in the world in this age and generation, and give his life to that, and he did. Dave and his wonderful wife Mary worked faithfully for the cause of Christian Harmony.
In my opinion, Christian Harmony is the work all followers of Jesus are called to.
Jesus said to them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is heading for ruin, and a household divided against itself collapses ". Luke 11:15.

Episode 75
Teacher: Father Ian Petit
Theme: Renewal in the Holy Spirit.
Father Ian was a true spiritual father to many who became involved in Charismatic Renewal.
Cathy first heard him speak at St John Stone parish in 1974. She came back from the meeting, with a sense that there was so much more to learn about the God of love that Jesus invited everyone to believe in. It was a new experience, a call to know the freedom that comes from believing the things that Jesus believed about God and Gods plan for human happiness.
This call to freedom is wonderful and helps us enjoy the great gift of life given to us freely by God our loving Father.

Teaching: To ponder in the biblical sense.
Prepare to have your heart and mind expanded to see the immense courage and love of Jesus on the cross. It gave me a new understanding of the term supernatural.

Episode 71
Teacher: Ronald Rolhieser
Teaching: To ponder in the Biblical sense. " An alternative understanding of the crucifixion ".
St.Paul talked about putting childish ways behind him ( 1 Corinthians: 11-12 ). I think this could be one of the best explanations for putting childish ways behind and taking up the cross. The supernatural power to hold, and in the holding, allow the transformation of toxic emotions, is the very wisdom of God. Image daily relationships and friendships where people hold those judgemental and hurtful words that cause pain and separation.
Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called the children of God. ( Matthew 5-9 ).

Episode 70
Teacher: Father Ronal Rolheiser
Teaching: Naming our Moments Biblically Part 2.
Last week Father Ron shared that many of the Bible passages we hear each week at mass, or in a service, are loaded with meaning and power that at the first hearing can easily pass us by.
Rich and deep with spiritual meaning and power, certain scripture passages, as we reflect on them can take us to a new place of understanding and confidence. Father Rons sharing on the Emmaus Story was wonderful, this week his sharings on 3 other scriptures will take us deeper into the wonder and beauty of the Gospel and its promise of freedom and life in all its fullness.
Every Blessing, stay safe, healthy and grateful for the wonderful gift of Life.

Teacher: Ronald Rolheiser
Teaching: Naming our moments Biblically.
As someone trying, every day, to be a faithful follower of Jesus, any help to understand the wisdom and power of biblical faith is immensely helpful. Thank you, Father Ron.
Episode 68.
Teacher: Miriam Swaffield.
Teaching: How young people are coming to faith today Part 2.
" Each one Reach one "This was a phrase that propelled the teaching of Jesus " The Way " from the back streets of Jerusalem to the furthest parts of the known world. The message of peace and justice for all was lived experience . The call to build communities that care for each other and share with each other was a daily lived experience.
Reading the signs of the timesAs we look at how we can build a safe and healthy future together after the Covid regulations are lifted it's good to be reminded that we, the Christian community, believe that the economy is meant to be the servant of the Gods children.
It is a fact that we only borrow the planet from of children and grandchildren, so let's hand on to them a safe and healthy one.
Episode 67

Teacher Daniel O'Leary
Teaching: Recognising Gods presence in everyone and everything.
In this teaching, Daniel again describes it as very important. He encourages us to be faithful to Jesus teaching on metanoia. in other words a new way of thinking about happiness. Jesus invites us to a whole new way to look at everyone and everything.
Look again at Isaiah 6 and Matthew 13. People are looking, but looking at people faults and failings without seeing Gods presence and their potential. Life is so much better when we concentrate on our potential as human beings and encourage and supp[ort each other, to be god spel ( Old English ) "good news/glad tidings" of human progress potential and prosperity.
This teaching will help you to see the wonderful creative power of mature thinking and kind beautiful words, words that build bridges of harmony and not walls of separation and division.

Teacher Dennis McBride
Teaching: The Face of Jesus in Johns Gospel.
Father Dennis in this teaching covers a wonderful example of how Jesus interpreted the Law of Moses. The woman caught in adultery, under the law, should have received the punishment designated by scripture. Father McBride says this " The law of Moses walks away leaving behind grace and truth ". I really love the way Jesus completely redefines the purpose and practice of religion.

Teacher Megan McKenna
Teaching: A Story within a Story within a Story.
Megan in the first five minutes says something that completely changed the way I thought about worship. The word " approach " its meaning and its connection to worship led me to a time of deep reflection. Every Blessing Archie and Cathy Agape Ministries.

Teacher Megan McKenna
Teaching A story with a story within a story Part 1.
One of the principal gifts of the wonderful Second Vatican Council was the insistence that lay Christians have access to the wisdom of Jesus shared with us in the scriptures. You could say that the Spirit of God, working through the teaching of Vatican 2, reignited a huge interest, in Catholics, in the Bible and how Jesus interpreted the Jewish Scriptures.
This is such helpful teaching for those of us wanting to be faithful followers of the original teaching of Jesus, and experience in our own lives his promise of Life in all its fullness. Then we can share this wonderful collective wisdom with all we meet, every day.

Episode 58
Teacher: Father Denis McBride
Teaching: The face of Jesus in Lukes Gospel.
In every age and generation, a question is asked. How do I have the best life possible?
To answer this question we need to ask another. How does real-life work? what do I need to know to have a safe and happy life? This is where the teaching of Jesus is invaluable.
Jesus teaches us that kindness and gentleness are vital in human relationships. His teaching invites us to see the very best in everyone, to see the immense potential in all of Gods children even when they mess up. It is in loving forgiving relationships we will find the very best life possible.
Enjoy this beautiful teaching, Archie and Cathy Agape Ministries
Episode 57
Teacher: Fr Denis Mc Bride
Teaching: The Face of Jesus in Lukes Gospel.
I hope you can see a pattern here in these last podcasts. Fr Emmon spoke of Jesus obsession with " The Kingdom of God " and how Jesus radically redefined his understanding of the purpose and practice of Religion.
Megan McKenna then spoke of Jesus prophetic insistence that the primary worship God requires is the care of the poor, and working to establish and maintain systems of equality justice and peace.
In this talk, Father Dennis shares the tenderness and compassion Jesus protected and promoted. We can see in these three sharings something of the inner life of Jesus and how his beliefs led to radical behaviour shaped by humility and service.
Could it be that Jesus, like us all, woke each day and hoped to have a peaceful happy day? But daily his inner peace was disturbed when he saw inequality and avoidable human suffering and attributed these distrusting feelings to the prompting of Gods Holy Spirit. Perhaps then Jesus could choose to believe that God was calling him personally not to be part of a system that robbed people of their dignity and potential.
Each day he used his personal energy and strength to follow these deep inner feelings to establish with each person he meet a sense of their dignity and worth. He set out to help meet their needs physically emotionally and financially. In being faithful to the deepest calling of his heart he then found the peace and happiness he desired, in knowing he personally was following the will of God in his age and generation.
He invites us all to follow him today and find that peace and happiness deep within our own lives and then to share that peace and fulfilment with others.

Teacher: Megan McKenna
Teaching: The Face of Christ in Mark's Gospel.
As you know Cathy and I have been blessed in our lives. We were introduced to the teaching of Jesus in 1974. It completely changed the way we thought about God, ourselves, and other people, bringing with it a wonderful sense of meaning and purpose for our lives.
Our imaginations were set free to see the wonder and beauty in all living things. Jesus' teaching is so clear on this, enjoy everything good in life, and there is plenty of it.

Great stuff, thank you, Megan.

Teaching: The Wonder of You Part 2.
If you can, take five minutes to prepare your self to hear this talk.
Remember the teaching of Jesus. When you are reminded of your dignity and destiny as a child of God, a voice from within your humanity will question that description of you.
You will be in a place of decision, which description of you will you believe.
Again take time to remember the experience of Jesus when the conversation took place in his human nature, his temptation in the desert. Remember the description of his humanity he choose to believe. This belief brought a wonderful freedom and peace into his life.
In faith believe, that by making the same decision as Jesus the same freedom and peace will come into your life. Wait in joyful hope and it will.

Teacher: Mary Hardiman
Topic: The Power of Gods Word in our lives.
Mary touches on a wonderful question regarding our life of faith. What happens when we feel that the things in our lives, in which we found some satisfaction, no longer satisfy.
Both Mary, with a good job, and remember Edwina Gately, when the Charity she began was up and running, and she was being seen as a very successful person felt- like Mary a call to leave these things behind and start something new with God. Echos of Abraham?
What does that look like, how do we move from security in our outer life to a place of security in our inner life? This is where we are so blessed as disciples of Jesus. Jesus is the Way, to the Truth, about the wonderful security of faith within our inner Life. Our conviction that we are the beloved of the Creator of the Universe. And living in a way that sees all humanity as sisters and brothers, because we all have the same Father.

Teacher Edwina Gately
Title Living a Gospel Life Part 2.
Every Life of infinite value.
I was moved this week to hear the Archbishop of Canterbury say that each of the 100.000 people who have died in the UK as a result of the coronavirus was of infinite value.
Such a wonderful way of thinking about each other and how we can treat others with immense dignity and respect. In this second part of her story, Edwina shares how, by the grace of God, she has remained faithful to the daily dream of a kinder and more generous quality of human relationships.
Each one reach one: An alternative approach to Evangelisation.
I am trying an alternative approach to evangelisation. When I see evangelisation as a way of trying to convert people I can sometimes hesitate, I don’t want to offend or to lose face. But then this idea came- I am not trying to convert but simply to keep people connected to truth and beauty.
By sharing these teachings with someone else - they know that the human desire for a safer and happier future for our children is not foolishness but the highest form of human aspiration.

Title: Living a Gospel Life.
Luke10:21
"At that time Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
There is always more to learn.
I had often wondered at this passage, what God was hiding? Then I was blessed when I heard this sentence from Father Richard Rohr. "Ignorance does not come from what you don't know, but from what you think you do know".
Listening to the voice of God
When the voice of God speaks to you, inviting you to leave behind status and influence. When that inner Spirit invites you to set out again and start all over again. When the Spirit of God invites you to take Gods presence into areas of pain and rejection, then only someone with Spirit-inspired child-like trust could find the inner courage to leave all behind and follow Gods invitation. Jesus heard that call to inner freedom and lived a simple life of joyful, humble Finding freedom in following JesusThis is the real-life story of one woman, take time, take notes and take heart.

Episode 41 Gifts Unimagined Radical Grace Part 2. Richard Rohr.
Jesus vision for the human family
What can we learn from this COVID-19 pandemic, this worldwide sickness? For me, there are two primary messages.
1: This virus was caused when the delicate balance that ensures human health and happiness was forgotten.
2: That for this balance to be restored we need the active goodwill and caring behaviour of the entire human family. Jesus vision for the human family is a vision of deep respect for each other, and the avoidance of any act that would bring sickness violence or greed into our families, local or global.
I thank God every day for this beautiful and achievable vision. Each day I can choose to follow Jesus. To live free from fear, in childlike trust that God is in charge, and that through God presence in the behaviour of our human family this pandemic will come to an end.
Following Jesus is the Way to the Truth about the most wonderful way of Life

A new quality of human relationships
Our simple plan for 2021 is to continue to spread the seed of the teaching of Jesus on renewing the quality of human relationships. Cathy and I are overjoyed at the response from the podcasts we have recorded, from trusted speakers worldwide. Now these are available for you to share worldwide for free.
St Paul told the early Christians, that although he planted the seed of a new life in Christ and Apollos water it only God’s Spirit, received and shared, could make it a lived experience. (1 Corinthians 3: 6. )
We pray that each week in 2021 these teachings will support and encourage your desire to work for a kinder and happier world for our children and grandchildren.

Teaching: "When to be Right could be Wrong". or " How to find the freedom not to Judge ". Teacher: Bishop Cyril Ashton
Cyril says " Grace is God making sure we get what we don't deserve,
Mercy is God making sure we don't get what we do deserve ".
This teaching is so beautiful and life-giving it deserves to be listened to time after time after time. To be freed for the poison of judgement is a wonderful gift. Judgement stagnates all our relationships and suffocates Jesus vision of Unity within diversity in the human family.
" Father may they be so completely one, that the world will believe it was you who sent me "In 2021 we will continue to plant the seeds of unity and reconciliation, but we know that only the Spirit of God active and at work, will make it a lived reality.

Episode 35 Teaching Part 2 Peace I Give you, A peace the world cannot give. Teacher Louisa Grundy.
I remember a talk given by a wonderful friend of mine, who died some time ago. His name was Bruce Smart, Cathy and I were recording at S.P.U.C. meeting where Bruce was speaking the right to life. Outside the venue, Bruce was being accused of not understanding how hard it was for parents when a child was born with a severe physical or mental condition.
“ You people don’t know and don’t care about ordinary people whose lives are so badly affected by this hardship. What would you do if you were told your child might have a disability. I will never forget his answer, he said ” I would turn my heart and mind to God and ask for the grace to love and care for that child”.
He was then told that its ok to speak of prayer but in the real world things are not that simple and God does not always answer those prayers. Bruce said “ I know God does not always every prayer but he answered mine when my son Johnathon was born deaf and blind. The effects of rubella.

I remember this teaching so well, Cathy and I had spent the night in the same convent as James. He was a warm and funny man, great company and came over as someone who loved and celebrated life.
At an evening meal James shared this image I have never forgotten it, for it helped me with the understanding of the presence of God in my life. " Imagine this" James said " A sponge and the ocean. The sponge is in the ocean, and at the very same time, the ocean is in the sponge. The sponge is not the Ocean , but is not seperate from ocean. In the very same way, you are in God and God is in you. You are not God but you are not seperate from God.

Enjoy Part 2 of this wonderful teaching on The Power of Blessing by Russ Parker.
This is a fantastic talk, Russ Parker shares with us a much-neglected teaching on the Fathers Blessing. Jesus believed with all his heart and mind that he was beloved by God.
He choose to believe that he was continually covered by the Father blessing. This belief brought him priceless understandings of identity worth and mission.
Enjoy every moment of this talk, and daily enter into the experience of the Fathers blessing and provision for you.
Every Blessing. Stay safe and happy
Archie and Cathy.
In this beautiful and practical talk, Clare shares a wonderful and powerful truth.
We all carry the presence and energy of God into our daily lives. Imagine a local situation where the council and church communities work together for the well being of all. No more winners and losers, no one left out, no one left behind. That's true justice, that's the Kingdom of God in practice.
That's the Kingdom I pray each day will come, to me and through me. Stay safe and happy Archie and Cathy

Enjoy the teaching , dream the dream of Unity. Stay safe Archie and Cathy.
In this episode, Father Pat encourages us to prayerfully and carefully find another person with whom we can share our innermost thoughts and feelings. For me, this is where the quality of Christian relationships becomes a beautiful reality. I invite you to imagine this situation.
A person hears the freedom giving teaching of the gospel and commits themselves to the daily psychological, emotional and spiritual journey taken by Jesus. With this new self-understanding and confidence, we can begin to pay as much attention to the needs of others as we do to our own.
Imagine then they meet another person committed to this way of thinking and living and plan to live there lives together. Now, remember the promise that Christians commit to each other "For Better or Worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death takes us home."
Is this an impossible dream? No. Is it easy? No Is it worth it Absolutely.
Stay safe and Happy Archie and Cathy
John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, I call you friends. Jesus tells us that friends share the deepest things in their lives. Hopes, dreams, fears and failures. Where can we find friends like these, well that's what we set out to be as a community.
Within our small imperfect community, we have a number of informal friendship groups who meet together, at times socialise together and share Christian conversation. But we also have another smaller group of gifted listeners, who can listen without judgement or the need to fix peoples lives. These gifted listeners simply walk with people as they journey towards transformation, wholeness and the freedom to enjoy the wonderful gift of life.
It is such a blessing to have these gifted mature Christians as part of our faith community.
Stay safe Archie.
This is part two of Father Pats excellent teaching on Self Esteem. Jesus baptism in the Jordan was his experience of the inner presence of Gods Spirit deep in his human nature.
It is this experience that Jesus wants to share with us. Jesus daily invites us to allow Gods Spirit to dream of a new quality of human relationships, relationships in which Justice and Compassion are primary. Jesus invites us to commit our selves to forming small local communities living in this new way.
Stay safe, Archie and Cathy
Fr Pat invites us to take 3 steps to free us from a poor self-image and low self-esteem.
1. Accept yourself 2. Be yourself 3. Forget yourself
These steps set you free to ENJOY BEING YOUR NEW SELF
Every Blessing
Archie and Cathy
When Jesus spoke about the human condition, he raised it to a whole new level.
He spoke of humanity as a wonderful, beautiful creation of a wonderful and beautiful creator. Our prayer is that this teaching helps you to think of yourself and others in this way
because the immortal Spirit of God is in all things **The book of Wisdom 12:1
Every Blessing.stay safe, healthy and happy Archie and Cathy.**
This is a great teaching from Michelle, both prophetic and practical.
Her call to help Pope Francis is so timely. We know that our response to the Coronavirus requires global cooperation and collaboration. No more us and them, winners and losers.
It's fantastic, that at a time when the world needs to see the wisdom of interdependence lived out in every village, town, city, and continent, that God is equipping the children of God to see each other as brothers and sisters and look out for each other.
So let's bring this down to everyday living, from today we can commit ourselves to being part of a community of faith, a community that values every human life as a wonderful, beautiful work of art, created by God; beyond price and worthy of protection.
If we need to change to a more simple way of living so be it, it will be so beautiful
Stay safe and keep others safe. Archie.
The Beatitudes: The Beautiful attitudes. Part 2.In John 8:31 Jesus says this to you reading this today.
If you make my word your home, you will be my disciple
you will learn the truth and the truth you learn will set you free.I used to think that discipleship was a daily practice that took from me freedom,
to act in certain ways, but I now see that discipleship is a practice that offers
a deeper freedom the - freedom to be the person God created me to be.
Its great to be a disiple of Jesus.
The Beatitudes: The Beautiful attitudes.
In this talk, Father Chris reminded me of an aspect of Matthews Gospel that I had completely forgotten. I had forgotten that the writer of Matthews gospel believed
Jesus was the new Moses.
Just as Moses led the people out of slavery from the Egyptian empire, an outer reality. Now Jesus leads his people out of slavery to fear and violence, an inner reality.
Jesus teaching on Metanoia, is just so good. It opens up for us a way to freedom.
The freedom to trust God.
The freedom of Faith:
The freedom of Hope:
The freedom of Love:
Thank you, Chris, and thanks to the writer of the Gospel of Matthew
Episode 17.
In this wonderful talk, Ruth reminds us of the power of our minds and the power of belief.
She encourages us to allow God to dream a beautiful dream using your mind. A dream of a kinder happier world for our children and grandchildren. Talk to them about the dream God has placed in you, and they will see how you take practical steps every day to help Gods dream become a reality in your family, in your church community and in your town.
" Thy Kingdom Come On Earth as it is in Heaven"
Every good to you and yours.
Luke 1:68-79 " To give light to those who live in darkness, the shadow of death, and to guide us in the way of peace"
In this episode, number 16 in our series, we hear from a woman in Northern Ireland who heard the call to be involved in the Jesus way of peace. Through all the troubles, because of the gift of faith, she kept this precious dream of God alive and accessible, helping to form communities working for reconciliation and peace.
Part 2 of Charles talk is so good, his sharing of how, without any previous diplomatic contacts, he ends up on speaking terms with the top Vatican officials is just so mind-stretching. Another great sharing is the story of the man who speaks in tounges in an ordinary church setting. The response of the congregation and then the blessing this gift brought into the life of the person it was given for and given too. Just two of the many clear examples of how the Holy Spirit is at work in our world and in the Catholic Church today. Enjoy. Stay safe Archie
Charles Whitehead is one of those people used by God to do wonderful things.
From an office in the city of London to an office in the Vatican is a culture shift
that not many business executives would imagine or desire. But this is how the Holy Spirit changed the life of Charles. A new life with a new set of goals and aspirations.
Can you imagine the deep peace and sense of satisfaction that comes from believing that God is using you, as a channel of forgiveness and reconciliation?
Through forgiveness, God is saying that human sin is more a wound to be healed than a crime to be punished.
"Goodness and Mercy all my life will surely follow me, and in Gods house, forevermore my dwelling place shall be". Psalm 23.
Shalom
Archie
It's all about Human Progress and our Super Human Potential
We are in the midst of a global pandemic and there is a very real need for global collaboration and cooperation. But can you really collaborate with people you just don't trust? Jesus says Yes ( Matthew 5:44-48). Sr Helen Prejean heard these words of Jesus and put them into practice and by doing so was making the world a kinder and more forgiving place.
Hear how this ordinary little nun allowed the supernatural power of forgiveness and compassion to flow through her, and helped her see the best in someone that others despised.
When Jim saw the two infallible signs of Repentance and Reconciliation, operate within the church, he experienced God is at work in that group of people.
Just imagine, God's Spirit blossoming in hearts and minds,
renewing relationships,
and bringing peace and justice to the world.
Come Holy Spirit Bring it on!
Jim was minister of Gold Hill Baptist Church in Buckinghamshire from 1968 –1994.
Described as one of the enthusiastic fathers of the modern charismatic renewal movement, he never wavered in his commitment to the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
He encouraged many others to experience a new life in the Holy Spirit and membership of the church grew from 120 to over 600.
Patti Gallagher Mansfield was a participant in the historic Duquesne Weekend that marked the beginning of the Charismatic Renewal in the Catholic Church. Patti says that there were only about 12 people in the Chapel that night, but that from that night, it's estimated that at least 120 million Catholics worldwide, and many many millions in other Christian denominations have also received the wonderful grace of the Baptism in God's Holy Spirit. Listen to what the Spirit of God is doing in the world today across many branches of Christianity. Calling all those who follow Jesus to live lives of unity within the diversity of the Body of Christ, the experience of Pentecost.
The beauty of the phrase " Gifts Unimagined " stirs in me a quiet confidence that it is God who is calling Humanity forward: Unimagined Human Potential, Unimagined Human Progress in our daily ministries as servants and friends of God.
This is a wonderful teaching, you will often hear Ronald Rolhieser quoting John Shea, as you listen you will understand why.
John unpacks how he came to think in a whole new way about the very beautiful spiritual wisdom held within in Gospels.
If like him you invest time to pray and think about the message of the Gospels you will begin to understand Gods wonderful plan for your life and for all humanity.
During this talk, I could see that praise is like a shield, that everyday praise protects my Christian identity from those inner negative voices that keep repeating in my head.
To help this become like a solid foundation in my heart and mind, I listen often to
Lauren Daigle singing " You say " check it out on YouTube.
In this teaching Marie Byrne reminds us of that Praise is Gods secret weapon.
A powerful spiritual and mental practice, its like an andidote to the poision of anxiety
Fr Rolald completes the second part of his talk on keeping a mellow heart in bitter times.
In our introduction we say " Agape Ministries a whole new way of Thinking. Fr Ronald Rolheiser is one of the Catholic priests that encourages us to allow the teaching of Jesus that helps us move from fear to fairh. The wisdom that helps us keep a to keep a mellow heart in bitter times..
