Inspired by a conversation with our previous guest Segun, Josue and Chase sit down to share their thoughts on being a young, single leader trying to walk in integrity and purity. We discuss this being a DIFFICULT journey, it applying to both relationships and opportunities, things internally and externally, walking in integrity while doing your job/role well, 1 Timothy 4:12, having a humble posture to receive feedback, making sure you’re not lying to yourself, how to implement accountability, and how to prayerfully examine motives while not overanalyzing.

Lani Rose – a recording artist, Christian, and current roommate flips the tables on Josue and Chase as he joins them for this podcast. Normally, we would have a conversation about his life, different aspect of life, and how God’s been moving. But, this time, Lani asks Josue and Chase questions on his mind, to give the listeners a behind the scenes look on what someone who lives with them would like to ask.

We discuss what Chase and Josue would be doing if they weren’t doing the podcast, the pod being the way God showed both their creative side, how to be genuine rather than performative during the podcast, and growing in confidence in seeing the Lord bear fruit in life.

Josue and Chase sit down and discuss Josue’s recent trip to New York City. Josue shares what was on the agenda for this scouting trip with First Colleyville, the purpose of the trip, his thoughts on NYC lifestyle/culture, and the personal benefit of just getting out and traveling again.

We discuss relational vs. transactional ministry, partnering with locals on service trips, what to have in a scouting trip, the tendency to go through the motions at home, what people could lose if they don’t go back to traveling after the pandemic, and their thoughts on what travel habits will look like in the future. We also take a moment to remember the late, great Kobe Bryant.

If you’re interested in joining the March or July mission trips to NYC, just message Josue on IG and he can get the process started.
