Welcome back to 'The Bakery Bears Radio Show'!
We are so pleased to be back with the latest edition of our 'Radio Show'. Thankfully we had pre recorded some shows prior to the start of the UK lockdown, so at least for the next two shows its business as usual!
In todays show we set out in search of an 18th century stately home, that became a school in the 19th century. In the 1950's Dans Mum used to travel past it on the bus and wonder what went on inside and the 2000's Dan worked there for many years as a music teacher!
Along the way we are discussing a subject suggested by one of our listeners. If we could give advice to our 18 year selves, what would it be?

It's time for another episode of 'The Bakery Bears Radio Show!'
Thanks to some truly awful weather, we're seventy two hours late with the show! But we've made it, and what a show we have in store. Before we get started though, we just wanted to mention the challenges that the world is facing at the moment. Thanks to Dans cancer journey, we have some perspective on trying to deal effectively with stressful situations. The one thing that we desperately wanted through the dark times of Dans journey, was to feel normal. So, that is what we will be doing everything in our power to bring you every two weeks, a little bit of normal. Weather permitting, the Radio Show will always be here and we will always be thinking of all of you.
In todays show we are heading out for a wet and windy walk in search of a Victorian Bandstand. Along the way we are discussing one of Dan's favourite topics, the Romans! We're pondering the that famous question posed by Monty Python in the Life of Brian, 'What did the Romans ever do for us'.

Dan and Kay return with a brand new episode of 'The Bakery Bears Radio Show'
Changes are afoot!! Literally. After Kay's fall in episode 9, the dynamic duo return and this time Kay has new extra grippy shoes. In today's show we also deviate from the schedule as we discuss 'time' and the movie which made us think so deeply about this subject.
Modern society seems to focus so much on 'whats next', whether it be your next holiday, a new car or buying a new house. Sometimes its so difficult to just take a step back and enjoy the present. In 'About Time', Dan and Kay discuss the profound effect watching the movie 'About Time' had on them. They talk through the challenge of not always thinking of next week or next year, but enjoying the day today. They finish the show by discussing other movies that have effected them and Kay has a 'Titanic' moment.....
We'll be back on the 29th of November with Episode 11. We'll be getting excited about the holiday season and discuss how we go about planning what can be one of the most stressful times of the year.

Dan and Kay are back with a brand new episode of their Radio Show!
Ok folks, you need your walking boots for this one because its time to get a little muddy as we take a walk in the woods. In todays show Dan & Kay talk about their experiences with the modern world, specifically technology.
In the last thirty years we seem to have made giant strides in so many areas, from touch screen devices to smart TV's and the continued growth of social media. But how do you find out what works for you and what doesn't? In 'Finding a place for Technology', Dan and Kay share how they have approached this. They talk about what's worked for them and what hasn't, and they try and get to the root of how best to make the most out of the modern world we live in.
We'll be back on the 15th of November with Episode 10. We're actually making a change to the planned episode on 'Parenthood' which will now move to the 13th of December and Episode 12. In Episode 10 we will be talking 'About Time' and the life changing moment which happened to us at the end of October 2019. We cant wait to share with you what we have discovered!!
