Hi! I'm Tisha, host of The Success over Struggle Podcast, entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, author, and mom. I love interviewing and sharing the stories of real people finding their own success in the world and sharing it with you! Enjoy the podcast!
WE MADE IT!
Season 2 of The Success over Struggle Podcast is in the books and I'm so thankful to this guy, Steve Rix, Chief Experience Officer and "The Wiz" at Imagine That for joining me for the finale.
In this high energy episode, Steve dives into the question "How to be happy" by sharing that the only real way to be happy is to never lose your curiosity and stop experimenting. He says that we can either grow old and stay sedentary in our ways, or live life being in the moment, and using our imagination to create the pathway to our future.
Catch this episode and others here or on successoverstruggle.com and stay tuned! Season 3 will be back in Fall 2020!

It's a Father's Day celebratory episode where I had the pleasure of interviewing not only Anthony Garone, author and founder, but also getting his 11-year-old son Elliot's perspective as well as my 8-year-old daughter Ellie's on the SoS journey.
In this segment, Anthony opens up about about overcoming depression, significant self-doubt, and imposter syndrome to get where he is today. He shares he learned how to value his values after reading a book about ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) that helped him realize it's now about what we do, it's about who we are...the same lesson he instills in his children.
Tune into this episode to hear from Anthony, Elliot and Ellie on what they've gleaned about finding their success amidst the struggle.

In episode 23, Skylar Lysaker, co-founder and CEO of Greenz, a hemp-based apparel brand focused on creating products that benefit consumers and the planet, joins me at The Forum Studio in Chandler.
All I can say after only having met Skylar once is that he is a very wise young man beyond his years who has so much to offer the world through his experiences, personal growth and know how.
In our time together, he shares his deeply personal and moving story of hitting rock bottom just recently in October 2019 and teaching himself how to get back up and back to basics.
Skylar says running his startup has not only pushed his mental, physical and financial limits, but it led him to making major personal sacrifices to continue running his brand.

In episode 22 of The Success over Struggle Podcast, my soul sister, Jodi Towns, of Towns Consulting, LLC and founder of HealthNow Expo and Networking for Healthcare, joins me in The Forum Studio to talk about the many pivots she's faced. Pivots that ultimately brought her to find what she's passionate about after enduring several hardships in her first business in 2007.
Her passion? Strengthening and connecting the healthcare community.
Tune in as Jodi talks about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, why we should always test the waters and do our due diligence, and how the opportunity you least expect could actually be leading you down an even greater path.

We made it! Episode 21 and I'm so happy to introduce you to my equally high energy friend and fellow PHX entrepreneur, Drew Shaw. There was no shortage of laughs and smiles on this segment. All around great guy.
Drew’s most current venture is Voyce Threads, a socially conscious lifestyle brand that brings awareness to important causes through mismatched socks.
It's very true. Entrepreneurship is definitely not easy. In this candid and completely raw and real interview, Drew dives deep into where he's struggling and why somedays, he spins through the cycle questioning whether he should put his dreams on the backburner or keep it going. By getting himself out there, meeting new people, and seizing every opportunity possible, he's not giving up. In fact, he's scaling his social impact business, iterating, learning every day and getting ready to launch a new product this summer.
Love this guy's tenacity and willingness to figure it out and keep moving forward, walking by faith and knowing the Universe has got him.
Drew's biggest takeaway?
"Your biggest success lies on the other side of your biggest fears."
