Every Thursday the residents of Diyarbakir comes to the Yenikoy graveyard to pray for their dead relatives and plant flowers on their graves. The ceremony provides comfort and closure for many, but for those relatives died fighting for the Kurdistan Workers Party, it is a reminder of the still on-going struggle for between the Turkish state and those seeking greater social and cultural rights for the country's Kurdish minority.
