Have you ever been felt like you weren't allowed to bring something up at church or family dinner? Or you got in trouble for asking something that's impolite or challenged someone? Maybe you've been given answers that don't work for you anymore, or have questions yet no one to ask. I'm advocating that you aren't a bad Christian for having doubts, asking tough questions; for changing the way you think and what you believe when new information is presented. This is the podcast where no questions about God, The Bible, Church, and Christian life are off limits.
How do we weigh Church history and tradition between denominations? Lightning Round: the Eucharist, Atonement Models, the Filioque clause, and more.
Andrew and I continue out conversation asking: How do our evolving morals affect how we judge and listen to people like King David, Muhammed, Aristotle, etc? Can we separate their ideas from their actions? Do we make our decisions based more on emotion, or logic/reasoning? Why do we do church the way we do as Catholics/Protestants?

Guest Gabe Rocha. Is digital church here to stay? How much online church is healthy? How should churches disciple young people who feel called to ministry? If hiring a pastor is sometimes said to be, "calling them to this congregation," what does it mean the we fire them? Are we un-calling them?
Guest Gabe Rocha. Do pastors need a masters degree or other higher education? How do we deal with people graduating from seminaries feeling under prepared? If people don't have higher education, do we risk heresy creeping in?
Guest Michael Kinsman. Why do we pray? Is it for our formation, or does prayer change things? Why does God teach us to pray when He already knows what we want? Does God listen to some people's prayers more than others? (James 5:16). Why are some people healed instantly, and others take more time? (Mark 8:22-26). We discuss the purpose and practices of prayer, and the implications of our prayer theology.
For this mini, intro episode, I just wanted to give a more fleshed out explanation of what this project is all about, and some of the reasons why I started this podcast. If you are someone who is seeking deeper questions and answers than what is typically appropriate for most settings, then this podcast is for you. We have pervasive, foundational beliefs that shape many of our most basic actions. Part of this is to take a deeper look at what ideas, practices, and foundational beliefs stand up to critical thinking, probing, and fleshed out logic.
